Called and made an appointment. When I arrived and said I had an appointment, she said you called and made an appointment or you called and say you come when you want?I replied that I made an appointment. After a moment I asked if that was a problem and she said no, just a few minutes. Someone was called from the back of the shop to help me. She seemed put out throughout the process. I waited an eternity for my nails to dry. She finally checked on me and said I was ready to go. But my nails smudged badly right after leaving. Another one smudged a couple hours after leaving. My daughter and I made an appointment to get our nails done. They took me but my daughter had to wait 20 mins over her appointment time. We were hoping for a nice girls day. Also Customers who didn't make appointments were asking for additional services while  appointment customers had to wait. I was not impressed. The reviews speak for themselves. I am extremely picky with my nails and have been to many salons in the area not having luck with good service. I found Paradise Nails driving by one day and took my chance at this salon. I can't say enough good things about this salon. 5 stars all the way. Lucy & Brenda are top notch! Lucy is the best nail tech. I jumped around salons for months until I found her. I always get a pedicure and an acrylic fill with gel polish. Lucy is fast and does the best job shaping my nails. She is conversational, but is ok to not talk either. I have friends that drive out of their way to see her. The salon overall is clean and everyone is friendly. Prices are good. Definitely recommend! My husband and I stayed in Palm Harbor for vacation and found Paradise Nail on Google. They scheduled us in same day, and the service was wonderful! Been coming here for couple years. Absolutely love these ladies! Always have time for my husband and I. Do a fabulous pedicure. Lasts at least 2 weeks easy. Enjoyable experience chatting with them. This little gem, back of 19 nondescript Strip Center. upon entering the establishment very nice. It has 20 weather like massage chairs for pedicures, that looks so inviting and comfortable. Everyone I spoke who was super friendly and very willing and helpful.I wish I hadn't just gotten a mani-pedi, as it looked so inviting & professional. The establishment is very very clean and all of the employees were super Pleasant to work with.I was taken to a private room for my waxing. The procedure bed was very, very comfortable. the woman doing the treatment was so knowledgeable and gentle it was a delight to have the procedure done. I have had this procedure done soooo many times,across different countries & cities. I have to say this is absolutely the best I've ever had.The woman that was performing the procedure, utelized tweezers to make sure that she got every little hair, there was nothing behind. I have never had that type of precision done during waxing. Definitely above and beyond, the average scope of service. There was also a couple times of cream application in between the waxing.A relaxing room,  knowledgeable employees, good prices & a very inviting environment. This was service above & beyond, any I have ever experienced. They even have a customer loyalty program which is pretty unique to see these days.Anyone that knows me, knows it takes a lot to get a 5 star review from me. They paint the BEST shellac/gel here. I've been to about 20 salons in the past year, and they are the best here. They don't pint it too thick to where it peels in barely 2 weeks. It has lasted for 6 weeks for me before from here. And the French is painted perfectly! They also do other fun designs. Once my friend got black matte with glossy black French. I've gotten glitter ombré before. Like I've said they do the best shellac/gel here! I drive from New Port Richey to come here, and it's well worth it. They also have pedicure upgrades available here. Some people say upgrading your pedicure isn't worth it, but here it is! My friend and I take dance lessons, and really appreciate when they take the extra time with our cuticles and sides of our nail beds. They always do a great job! Read Less

WARNING I have been going to this salon for about a year now. I thought it was clean but I went December for a pedicure. I went back 3 weeks later for another pedi and when the girl took the polish off there was something wrong with my nail.  I just went to a Podiatrist and sure enough I have fungus on my nail from the salon. I first visited Paradise because I had a Groupon for a deluxe pedicure and manicure. I usually get shellac so they let me upgrade for $15. The pedicure was one of the best I've ever had. They took their time, added extra massages, and dipped my feet in paraffin, which is life changing! Unfortunately they only had about 15 colors of shellac polish. I've since been back but only get a pedicure. They have several levels, I've received the basic and the deluxe. Neither include the paraffin wax but the deluxe is well worth the $10 upgrade! I've never made am appointment and have always been seen right away.  The staff is courteous and willing to hold a conversation if that's your preference. They offer water and wine to all guests (of age, of course). The sky and cloud mural on the raised ceiling is relaxing and the chairs are great. Read Less

I received a Groupon as a Christmas gift for a mani and deluxe pedi.  The salon is very clean and orderly, including the bathroom which is a very good sign.  I was greeted warmly, and turned over to Danny's capable hands.I normally don't get manicures because my nails are very soft and manicurists generally just tear them up more.  Not at Paradise Nail and Spa!  I told Danny about my nail issue and told him I had brought my own nail file as not to tear up my nails.  He did a great job on my cuticles, nice shaping to my nails, and as I requested, a base coat and two top coats for basic natural nails.The pedi was very good.  Nice massage and mask for the legs.  Great job on the shaping of my toenails and trimming of cuticles.  Expertly polished and finished.All around a good experience.  I'll be back.  (The salon's biggest challenge is its location, but once you've been there, it's easily accessed.) My mother and I got a pedicure there last night. We were very pleased with everything paradise nails and spa had to offer! Frank was very sweet and the girls did an amazing job on our feet! We had a flesh orange spa-like pedicure that lasted at least an hour. The atmosphere is not like your typical run of the mill nail salon. It's clean, trendy, new, and does not have that strong acetone smell like others. At first I said this is too good to be true but it is true!! They have good incentives for returning customers (refer so many friends and get a free pedicure) I will definitely be back in the future. Read Less

Only saving grace is 30% off services bc it's their grand opening and a complimentary beverage including soda, water, beer, wine or margarita on the rocks. I had eyebrow wax and pedicure done. After my wax she didn't give me a mirror to show me my brows, instead she said "ok, done" and turned off the lights and walked out, leaving me in the dark and not knowing what my brows looked like.
