Went here a few weeks ago, by far the worst experience of my life. They want you to receive the most expensive service they offer, even when they offer a $25 special they will talk you out of buying it and talk you into buying their service that's $40, and they won't stop until you give in. I've have been going here for almost 2 years now. I ONLY go to ANDY! I know you can easily get the wrong person at this salon. Prices are fairly normal nail salon prices. Very clean, I get my nails done about twice a month(gel acrylic fill). I get tons of complements on my nails and often get asked where I go. As long as Andy is there I will be a regular customer! First visit and extremely disappointed. Had manicure & pedicure and the girl was NOT GENTLE even though I asked ahead of time. She was rough and pulled cuticles and they bled. She clearly was not happy doing her job. Polish smeared and chipped three hours later.  Owner did not even offer a discount for such poor service. A very painful experience. I will not return and DO NOT recommend VIP NAILS IN PALM CITY. Never walk in to any salon. You must have a good reference first or you may encounter the same experience. Read Less

Just paid 35 for a pedicure. My toenails are all different lengths and polish looks messy. Massage was good but save your money and go somewhere else that acutally sterilizes their equipment.  I watched a tech take dirty tools put them in one of the sterizing bags and then use them again pretending it was clean. The staff here is amazing. Overwhelmingly polite. The services are done well and the prices are affordable. I recommend this salon to anyone in the area or passing through on the Turnpike. The salon itself is kept very clean and they always offer tea, water, or other beverages. Read Less

Just had my nails done and so very sorry I didn't request my prior technition Haley... If I had wanted my cuticles painted then I would have done it myself!!! Very sloppy manicure and even worse pedicure! I will not name names but I would assume I'm not the first or the last one complain about this "mans" work!!  Shame that when someone has a job to do, that they dont give their best to the client.... I have my nails and toes done every 2-3 weeks here, and the work done and people here are absolutely amazing!! They are always extremely friendly and helpful. I get pink and whites done by anyone of the employees. They ALL do an amazing job and really take the time to make sure your nails look beautiful. They even get some of the noticeable dead skin off your cuticles if needed, which other facilities NEVER do. I recently had a new full set of pink and whites put on by a new employee Sam, and he is amazing! I brought my 3 year old son in with me and they accommodated him with suckers and were so sweet to him. Just a wonderful place to go and relax and get pampered! If I could give 10 stars I would. I visited this nail salon after reading a good review on yelp. Im very picky and read of a customer detailing specific things I usually look for so I decided to try it out. They were very nice and very accomodating (I had car trouble and had to reschedule), however certain things I experienced were not to my liking. It took a little while for them to actually seat me with someone bc they seemed to be having trouble determining what I wanted (I asked for a common product and service). Once I was finally seated I again stated what I wanted, but when another customer asked the tech what was applied to my nails, I didnt sound like what I had requested ( the tech had a deep accent). Then, while she was filing my nails she cut me and didnt put any antibacterial on it or anything. The cut hurt very much for a few days. Lastly, after a few days my nails turned alittle yellow, which a classic sign of the product I thought I heard her say she used on my nails. Needless to say, I wont be going back. Read Less
