FIVE STARS! I have been going to this nail salon for about 4 months now, and have been extremely impressed each visit. The staff are extremely courteous, timely, caring, thorough, and professional. I feel like they are attune to my needs and truly care about my experience overall. I highly recommend anyone to visit this salon for a manicure, pedicure, waxing, or whatever service you are in need of. The salon is small, yet always kept clean and well lit. Very clean- they use the disposable plastic liners. They care about their customers and it's like going to visit family whenever I am there. They also care about their employees and treat them well unlike some of the other salons. Maybe that's not important to you but it is to me. My experience was absolutely terrible. I went to get acrylics and they charged me a ridiculous $15 extra for the shape of my nails.(which was NOT difficult) The whole time the person was doing my nails he was complaining. The next day four of my nails broke off out no where so I came back to get them fixed four days after I got them done. I first got out with a man who didn’t want to do my nails for some reason so I got put with this lady who was complaining also. She charged me $20 to fix the four nails that broke. So annoyed. I asked for a female tech. Of course that didn't happen.... then the guy ended up doing a sloppy job. Of course it's a gel manicure so it's a pain to change or redo. They said the guy (K) was very good.... nope. Then I tell the front desk and she does nothing for me besides give me the name of someone else who I should see. I got the best pedicure of my life from Vi. My feet weren't in the best condition because I work on my feet all day and she truly made me feel pampered and my feet feel amazing. She was so sweet and personable and great with conversation. I went in there hoping to feel pampered, relaxed and to disconnect and I left there feeling all. I usually have a very good experience at the salon with Savanna or Anna, however my sister Savanna and Anna were booked with appointments ; so she set me up with another tech named Kayla. Halfway through the appointment I mentioned to her that my sister was Savannah, and as soon as I told her that , her whole entire demeanor changed to very quiet and not friendly , I asked her to please not paint my nails yet, so I could pay her first and not take a chance smudging my nails. she didn't listen to me and started trying to paint my nails. When I got my change I had to get the change broken down again because he gave me large bills. Had to wait maybe one extra minute for that.  in the meantime she insisted on finishing my nails so I said OK whatever but if I have to put my money away with wet nails they're  probably going to get messed up. Got my change gave her a 20% tip on my service as she proceeded to say next time don't make an appointment with me make it with your sister. I don't want to do your nails next time. She didn't say this with good intent, it was clear she was upset about something.  I asked her if she was ok or upset and she wouldn't answer me, just kept saying next time don't make appointment with me.There was seriously no reason for her to say this , I am a full paying customer I don't get any discounts because my sister works at the shop .  I am always complimentary and appreciative. Frankly,I'm free to make an appointment with who ever I'd like to and have seen other techs than my sister when she's off work with no issue.I was not rude to her in any way. And of course I smudged a nail putting my money away.  She abruptly fixed it, to her dismay. I am a working professional and if I exhibited this behavior to a client or patient it would be unacceptable and I'd probably be terminated or reprimanded some way for it.So with all this being said, I wouldn't give a penny to the tech that treated me like this because obviously she doesn't deserve my money or yours . I'd recommend enjoying your experience with somebody else at the shop such as Anna or Savanna. 1st visit - got a pedicure from kim and was very happy. 2nd visit - rude sloth that works the front desk should probably be mopping floors or something more suitable to his mental capacity . The white chick in there talking on her phone the whole time was also zero help. No one knew what they were doing. Got a full set of liquid gel nails. Writing this review a WEEK later to say they all fell off. ABSOLUTE joke of a place.Read Less

Called for an appointment got it the same day for me and my mom. Had read reviews about other salons in the area and Palm City Nails seemed to be the best out of the bunch and they were great. Definitely scored finding this place very clean super nice people who take their jobs seriously got a fantastic manicure and pedicure will definitely return in the future. Read Less
