After a second visit (2-10-18) I had to take the original 5 Star review down. I will still go back (since it’s the best place I’ve found so far), but I was disappointed with the both the pedicure and nail dip services. The chair I sat in for the pedicure wasn’t fully operational which made for a somewhat uncomfortable pedicure; and the nail dip service was okay. The technician was still very polite and professional, but there are many parts of my own nails showing that will look worse as my nails grow out. Plus I had to go home and reshape all of my nails. Will try another technician next time, hope for better and that this visit was just a fluke. Initial visit: (1-23-18) Walked in during the day for a nail dip service, and didn’t have to wait too long. Had a great technician, she was very kind, attentive and professional. My favorite place - they always have the newest polish colors, very clean, friendly, accommodating, and convenient location.  Everybody who has helped me in the past has been amazing but my highest recommendation is to see Andy for mani-pedis. He's funny, kind and friendly, but most of all a perfectionist when it comes to his work so he is very efficient. Highly recommend salon 54 !!! Read Less

Vinny is amazing. He is definitely my go to nail man. It took me a long time to find someone after my nail lady moved to Port St. Lucie and I got sick of driving there to get my nails done. I was a regular at this salon and wrote them off a few years ago after being insulted by management for leaving a 20% tip and literally yelled at while I was leaving. I decided to go back today and give them another chance. The gal that did my nails did a great job but once again an AWFUL experience with management. Their CC system was down and I only had enough cash for tip, the manager was beyond rude and treated me and the woman behind me in the same position like garbage for not having more cash on us. I ended up taking cash out at their ATM, having to pay additional bank fees, yet she rolled her eyes, scoffed at us and wouldn't even acknowledge my saying thank you...let alone apologize for any inconvenience they're causing us. Consider re-evaluating how you treat your customers, there are plenty of other great salons in the area that do a great job and also treat you well. Read Less

Great place to get your nails done. My favorite thing about this salon is that  have the best selection in polishes!! Most techs are very good though I really like Holly.  I've never had to wait very long when I don't make an appointment, which I hardly ever do because I'm always running from one place to another. Since March of this year I have been going to this nail salon and had my nails service with Hannah.  I have been highly satisfied, except for two misshapes.  This past week I wanted the powered nail.  I was told I had to use another nail technician besides Hannah.  That person had no idea what they were doing.  Had my nails done this past Thursday, my nails polish started peeling on Friday, came in on Saturday to correct it, and back again today because of several nails peeling off.  I requested Hannah to correct the mistake and was planning to give her a big tip to do it.  THE MANAGEMENT CHARGED ME REGULAR PRICE TO CORRECT THE MISTAKE.  I TRIED TO EXPLAIN THAT THIS WAS MY SECOND TIME IN LESS THAN A WEEK COMING IN TO CORRECT IT.  I LEFT SAYING I WOULD NOT BE BACK.  MY HEART GOES OUT TO HANNAH.  SHE IS EFFECT BY THIS BECAUSE THE FACILITY IS MANAGED WRONG!!! Be careful. I went with the intention of using a gift card, told them I was using a gift card, had been in there previously to show them the gift card, they approved the use of the gift card and then AFTER my services were performed, they said they would not accept the gift card. There are plenty of places in Palm Beach Gardens/Jupiter to get a great mani/pedi. I only went here because I had the gift card. I would never go back. Read Less

I went here last night as a walk in for a blow dry. The little again girl at the front desk was VERY sweet and told me there was no one to do my blow dry. My hair was in a knotted wet mess from the salon I went to get my color done. She felt sympathy for me and called a stylist Linda to come back to work and do my blowdry . I recommend you NEVER go to Linda. She walked into the salon with sweat pants on and her hair in a bun on the top of her head! Thanks for coming back but come on! I've work at a handful of high end salons and my boses would never let us look like that at work under any circumstances!! Then she complained to the receptionist about my hair length and I was right there listening (why come back if you're going to complain) then she didn't want to shampoo me and I had toner on my scalp. She complained that I had extensions. Rinsed me for 3 second and my head was still itchy. Started pre drying my hair when it was dripping and soaking wet and burning my scalp with her dryer! She was extremely rude to me and very unprofessional. I told her to stop and she got VERY up set with me and stormed out of the door yelling about how mad she was! Incredible! Go to Linda if you want your hair stylist to be RUDE AND UNPROFESSIONAL. She also seemed like she didn't know what she was doing and she wasn't young! Read Less

It is unsanitary people- they use a pumace stone from one person to the next ( no way it can be sanitized, they use a cheese grater , also not in barbicide and last but not least they Do Not sanitize the pedicure bowl from one client to the next- it is supposed to  agitate for 10 min with special solution after each client. They are Cheap because they cut corners. You get what you pay for. Read Less

I have been to this place a handful of times, and the last time was surely the last time I will ever step foot in this business. When walking in you are greeted with a very snobby woman that makes you feel so unwelcome. I came in to get a mani and pedi which the lady I had was very rushy and did not take her time at all. For my toes she cut a couple of my cuticles so bad they were bleeding really bad and all she did was put alcohol on them which hurt like hell. She didn't apologize or anything and kept going and cut a couple others which weren't as bad, but of course hurt, I had to ask her toStop because my one toe was bleeding very bad, I told her I didn't want her to continue, well she sent over a manager and he wanted me to still pay!!!! A unfinished pedicure and I was cut so bad many times and I had to pay? I was literally speechless and told him no I will not be. Today was my second experience at Salon 54 for a gel-manicure.  I really like Kim, my first manicure lasted over two weeks, as promised.  Prices are good, selection of polish is great, and the place is nice and clean.  I plan on becoming a regular here.  Can't wait to try their pedicure and massages. I've been coming here since they opened for manicures and pedicures. It's very clean and pretty inexpensive - there are always $5 off coupons in the pb post. They have a great selection of colors and don't pressure you to upgrade to a more expensive pedicure (though it's worth it). Don't waste your time.  Hairstylist kept me waiting for over 30 minutes for a simple wash & dry and never came out to acknowledge I was there.  Receptionist waited too long to notify the stylist that he was running so late as she was more interested in her cell phone than waiting clients!  I left before my mood got any worse and ended up finding a great place down the road for perfect photoshoot hair.  Tabitha Coffey needs to pay this place a visit! I really like Spa 54 except for the fact that I feel I'm enabling the oppression of immigrant Asian women.  This place sorta has a sweatshop vibe, and hence sweatshop prices? During my first visit I had a youngish girl do my nails, and she did a really good job. The manicure lasted for a while. On the second visit, I got a cantankerous older woman who just wanted my tip. Anyhow, it's kinda sad to look around and see all these bleached blonde housewives or retirees with their bling getting doted on by young Asian women (I swear, there was one girl looked 18 y.o. and was pregnant). Oh and did I mention there is a "pimp" character present in the shop at all times... Hopefully they get good tips. Read Less
