I liked the salon. I found the staff to be polite and the hair cut I received was a "cut above" most. My only complaint is that it is costly. Nearly $200.00 for a cut and color is a bit steep for my wallet, especially since my hair needs colored every four weeks and my hair grows out fast. The higher the base price the higher the tip is "supposed to be." Personally, I think. this "tipping" has gotten out of line. The tips alone are almost equal to what. I use to pay for my cut and root color up North. Gratuities have lost their meaning and purpose in my opinion. They are no longer what they were intended to represent and have become an "entitlement." Just post the fee you expect to be paid up front, and if you receive additional money on top of the stated price, then take it as a symbol of added appreciation for a job exceptionally well done. Establishments have the nerve to post the amount of gratuity they expect, thus negating the meaning and. purpose of the tip to begin with and becomes part of the expected fee for service. I personally resent it. It negates the good feeling I receive when being told what to give for exceptional service whether the service was good , Medioker or no existent. If you expect $125.00 for a service, post that price. Do not post $100.00 with an expected additional $25.00. That said, I still would recommend. this salon based on my initial experience. I was happy to tip because my service was very good, but it still leaves an unpleasant feeling when it is expected. We teach people how to treat us, so it is the publics fault, and it is my fault since I represent a tiny portion of the over all volumn of customers who are teaching businesses that it's fine to tell us how much over and above the posted price for services we will pay. So shame on the public and shame on me. If you agree with my theory, then think about "teaching" businesses something different than you are teaching them now and stop blindly paying 25% more than the posted and expected price. Read Less

Horrible people skills. I went in at 11 on a Tuesday and there were maybe three people getting their nails done. The owner told me they were too busy and to come back later, but I sat down to wait for the next available person anyways and then he literally told me to leave and come back at 1. He put on my acrylics in the first place and after a week they started lifting which is why I went back, to have them redone. Since he told me to leave and I had class in an hour, I took my happy butt down to Venetian Nail Salon in Legacy and they got me right in. When she chipped off my nails there she said that whoever put them on (the guy at the mall nail bar) wasn't trained correctly because the nail wasn't glued on at all. She had to give me a whole new set but didn't charge me for it. Then gave me another 10% off. Save time and go straight to Venetian! Read Less

The staff were very friendly, helped me pick out the perfect color. They did try to convince me to upgrade the services I chose, which was a little annoying. However, they seem to spend a lot of time on each client. They massage your hands/feet, and the massage chairs in the pedicure section made the time I spent there quite relaxing. I will NEVER EVER patronize this business AGAIN! The male store owner is a rude, arrogant jerk! I went in at 3pm on a Friday, to avoid the weekend rush, they told me it would be a 5-10 minute wait for a pedicure, which is the standard time quote nail salons tell you, so they don't lose a customer. I knew It'd be closer to 20, based on the fact that the techs doing pedis looked like they JUST started on their clients. 30 minutes later, I asked the receptionist, if it'd be longer? She looked at male owner and he said "20 minutes", I said, "Look I'll go and come back. just next time, be honest, so I don't waste time, I could of gotten other things done". I left and came back in 20. I asked again, if they were ready? I heard the owner say, "Just put her in the water". I told him, "I don't want to be in the water for another 20 minutes, is there someone ready now?" He yelled and said, "Why you making this hard?" I was shocked, and said, "I'm making this hard by asking a legitimate question? and Why are you raising your voice at me, I'm not yelling at you." He looked at the girl whose nails he was doing and said, "AM I YELLING?". I was appalled! I told him, " It was unprofessinal to involve another customer in our conversation". He kept being rude and said, "Are you getting your nails done or not?", I said No! not anymore. His wife came over to diffuse the situation and offered to do my nails. I told her" no, I'd rather not spend my money here now". She said, "He said sorry". I said, "really, I didn't hear that?" And asked the man if he was sorry? He yelled, "Sorry for what!". I said OK, thank you for confirming that I was making a good decision to leave. His wife asked me to stay again, and said, "He's like this, he even talks to me like that." I told her, "you chose to marry him, but I refuse to PAY to be mistreated!" ...and left. I complained to the Gardens Mall management and got an apology from them, but they said there's nothing they can do, besides tell him about my complaint. SMH Read Less

AWFUL. Do not go here. We were intrigued by the low prices, but they are not worth the end result. Our service was incredibly rushed, rough, and uneven (three Shellac manicures were performed at $30 each). One of my nails was so badly painted I asked to have it touched up and instead of putting more polish on the bare spot the lady decided to try to FILE AWAY the entire side of my nail. I pulled my hand away in pain and saw my nail BLEEDING.My nail tech apologized a lot and seemed genuinely sorry, but then started wiping away the blood, dropped her cotton pad on the floor, picked it up, and wanted to keep touching my open wound with a dirty cotton ball. Again, I pulled my hand away.THEY STILL WANTED TO CHARGE ME FULL PRICE. After a heated discussion with the 'manager' I got a measly $10 refund.Appalling. These people do not know safe service, customer service or hygienic practices. Read Less

I got a gift certificate here for a pedicure and it was the worse I have ever experienced. They can not communicate at all. Therefore, you can't tell them shorter, another coat, or it is not smooth. I teach kindergarten and I even used hand motions to help explain. They rushed through, didn't take their time (there was one other person in there. No wait at all.) I had a deluxe pedi and a pink and white full set and I must say it was the best job I ever had done and they are reasonably priced to be in the Gardens Mall!. I ask them not to shorten, just to do the cuticles und even the nails, the filing is inaccurate, uneven and with rough edges.. Now the nails hang on to my pullover all the time. This place although from the outside looks very appealing with the crystals is over priced however the staf barely speaks English (and I'm half Asian with a tolerance for accents) although they nod thier head as if they understand your requests- end result will ensure you that they do not. I went to "Lina" to get a full set of false nails put on. I was patient in asking her the various options (gel vs. acrylic) but the language barrier was difficult. She failed to mention that when the gel nails go on your fingernails and you put your hand under the UV lighting that there is an extreme burning sensation on your nail beds- quite painful. Then I specifically said I wanted my nails to be thin but of course she made them clumpy and reassured me the whole time that it was going to look "natural." Ofcourse, they ended up looking like long stripper nails and I asked her to cut them shorter and show less of the white on the french manicure portion and ask her to clean up my cuticles. The end result was awful and clumpy and she had the audacity to charge $60 for the full set and then $10 just to clean up my cuticles!!! Are you kidding me!!? $70 for the worst nails!! I honestly would hesitate before going there. There are a ton of better nail salons in palm beach gardens if you intend on getting false nails. Read Less

He looked at the girl whose nails he was doing and said, "AM I YELLING?".

I will NEVER EVER patronize this business AGAIN! The male store owner is a rude, arrogant jerk!I went in at 3pm on a Friday, to avoid the weekend rush, they told me it would be a 5-10 minute wait for a pedicure, which is the standard time quote nail salons tell you, so they don't lose a customer. I told him, "I don't want to be in the water for another 20 minutes, is there someone ready now?" He yelled and said, "Why you making this hard?" I was shocked, and said, "I'm making this hard by asking a legitimate question? and Why are you raising your voice at me, I'm not yelling at you." AWFUL.

No wait at all.) The polish was applied all clumpy and when I asked them to fix it they dabbed certain areas and made it worse. I do not suggest going here. Read Less

I have to say I was hesitant to walk in because of how luxurious it looks from the outside but I am so glad I did. As soon as I walked in I was greeted and immediatly helped. I had a deluxe pedi and a pink and white full set and I must say it was the best job I ever had done and they are reasonably priced to be in the Gardens Mall!. I was so pleased I've never placed a foot inside another salon. The people there are very friendly and sweet and this is the first nail shop I've seen so clean and spotless. I would recommend this place to anyone who wants to have a great service in a warm and friendly enviorment.. Read Less

DON'T GO THERE!!!!!the only good thing about this place is, that it is clean. They don't understand or listen to what you say. I ask them not to shorten, just to do the cuticles und even the nails, the filing is inaccurate, uneven and with rough edges.. Now the nails hang on to my pullover all the time. Some of fingers don't have nails any more. The polish is all over the sides and the cuticles. I went with two friends, the same happened to them.I'm very annoyed and disappointed, take care and go somewhere else Read Less

Don't go there ever!! Avoid this place! I received the worst manicure of my life! And so did my two girlfriends. Nails were filed very unevenly and I ended up with literally square fingernails. Looked hideous! And on top of that they painted all over the cuticles. Looked so horrible I took off the polish that same night. What a waste of money and time! Stay away from Pure Nails & Spa!!! I could've done a much better job myself. Very annoyed! :( Read Less

Read Less
