Receptionist is incredibly rude! I have been going there for 3 years to get my nails done. They hired her and everytime I go in now Im treated like trash by her. The only reason she is still there is because she is related to the owner. Otherwise the manicurist are nice, do great jobs and are very personable. I came to get my nails done 2nd time and the day after my side of my nail started hurting and getting big next day my finger swells up and i find out its infected i had to go to the hospital to get it lanced and cut open before it spreaded to my blood stream ill never be coming back there im not the type to complain but my finger literally felt to the point it was going to fall off and in your salon it has a paper saying all your tools are clean but my first time just ended up getting a bad infection ive never had to deal with anything like this before if i come back im coming to complain and show you exactly how my fingered looked now i have to wait for it to heal service was ok but after this experience ill never get my nails done there!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! PLEASE DO NOT GO HERE. Absolutely hands down the worst ever nail experience i’ve ever had. I went in asking for an acrylic infill. Firstly, the lady doing them nipped my skin so many times with the drill.. then when i asked for them to be shorter she said no because long nails look nicer.. theeennn, i paid and it came to 40 god damn dollars!!! FAR TOO OVER PRICED. Now, a few days later, they are already lifting from near my cuticle and just look absolutely awful. Don’t come here unless you want to reshape your acrylic nails your self! Instead of shaping coffin nails the proper way (claimed they knew how to do them) they decided to CUT the shape into them (these turned into horrible uneven triangle shapes) after him going back to fix the shape of multiple nails multiple times after nexgen I gave up, let him finish and went home and filed them myself! I normally don’t do this but the humiliation I faced today calls exactly for this review. I had a nail tech work on me and she was extremely unpleasant. She did my nails and I had to literally take the file and do my nails myself. They were bulky and just not good. So the next day I called to get them redone by a professional and they said sure come in. I went in only to be greeted rudely by the owner. He was working on a client when he asked me to come over and show him my nails. He told me they were beautiful and I didn’t need to do them again. I told him again I wasn’t satisfied with how my nails looked. They weren’t filed, they were bulky and didn’t look like a $50 job. He then asked me who did my nails before. I then told him it was someone who was working there before but he is at another shop. Without hesatiation he told me “go back to tony he works at tipsy to fix your nails”. This place is a complete joke. They don’t listen to waxing directions. The older woman doing my eyebrows would not wax more after barely doing anything in the first place. She could of done ALOT more but refused to. It's NOT worth it to spend $10 when they barely touched my eyebrows and I shouldn't of given her a tip. Took my daughter here for her 7th birthday she was very excited to get her nails painted. The lady did not say a word to her, didn't even look at her. She spent a total of 3 minutes painting her nails and then went off to help someone else. It was a rushed sloppy job and she didn't wait in between coats for the polish to dry so her nails didn't dry at all. It has been over an hour since we left the salon and they are still gooey and tacky. I would not recommend this place to anyone. The people are rude and sloppy. Terrible customer service. !!! Anyone who sees this please just take one sec to read this... so you won't get scammed!! My daughter was visiting Palm beach and went to get her nails done at this place. She got a fill in (with no gel) and the man told her 20 dollars, she had no problem paying that, even gave the young man a tip. The next day my daughter saw they kept charging her card, taking over 40 dollars out. My daughter has never had this problem before so she was scared but I told her it could of been an accident, don't worry just call them. She called them and told them the problem the lady who picked up the phone told my daughter "call your bank, take it up with the bank" so she asked to speak with the young man that did her nails the man hung up on her, she called back and they said she would have to come up there and show them, we live 3 hours away from palm beach, so she asked if she could email them the history of her bank account. Long story short, I suggest don't go here, these people are very rude and the workers there are taking your money if you're using a credit card, if you do go here please use cash, please. Miwa is an amazing nail tech and wonderful person. I have had acrylic nails for around 15 years and have always been told that refills were needed every 2 weeks "due to the composition of my natural nails". I switched salons to Miwa over 5 years ago and have never gone less than 4 weeks between fills....proving to me that it all comes down to the talent of the tech. Miwa's work is always perfect and she takes the time to listen to what you want and is always happy to give advice when I decide I want a change. I really enjoyed cancelling my appointment here when I discovered Halo Nails Spa (2000 PGA Boulevard.)  Yes, this place is convenient because it is in the Gardens Mall and open late, but there is a limit to how much aggravation you can tolerate for convenience, especially for a pampering service, such as a manicure.  Please see my review for Halo. The first time i went to this place they did an amazing job. I've been to a few salons which couldnt even offer proper nail art the best they could do was diamonties. I'm into stencil and 3d art, these girls are amazing. They can do anything you ask them! You definitely don't leave disappointed and pay exactly what you ask for. My next trip I booked I screwed up my booking and said Mani and pedicure which was most definitely not what I wanted, I felt like an idiot I meant ref...ill and nail art. But as soon as these girls found out what I wanted they worked as machines in their booked out schedule to give me what I exactly wanted and still produced the best quality work I've ever seen. Disappointed compared to my experience last year (when I would have given 5 stars!). I prefer SNS powder - their 'star' person soaked my fingers in acetone for quite some time (never had anyone do that!). then they used drills to take off the old (never had anyone do that). I asked to wash my hands afterward to remove the dried acetone and they said 'no' (and still using lotion to heal my dry fingers). I asked to not cut cuticles but they did anyway (and PULLED). Rough filing - had to use Emery board when I got home to remove the sharp parts - even tho I pointed it out to them. And then - had me put my hands under UV light !! NEVER had that since I stopped using gel!! I aksed why and they responded that was needed. One the main reasons I use SNS is to avoid the UV light!. Can you guess that I will not return ??? And to top it all, another customer stopped in to have 2 of her Gel nails fixed after only one day - and she insisted on this 'star' and WAITED for them! Miwa is a huge local talent. She has come first in some local based nail art competitions and if you see her work it blows your mind. I have never seen a whole image painted on an acrylic nail before. Her detail and steady hand is insane. I originally came across her as they use the bio sculpture product which many salons don't due to the price of the product. I totally recommend this place Read Less

Horrible people skills. I went in at 11 on a Tuesday and there were maybe three people getting their nails done. The owner told me they were too busy and to come back later, but I sat down to wait for the next available person anyways and then he literally told me to leave and come back at 1. He put on my acrylics in the first place and after a week they started lifting which is why I went back, to have them redone. Since he told me to leave and I had class in an hour, I took my happy butt down to Venetian Nail Salon in Legacy and they got me right in. When she chipped off my nails there she said that whoever put them on (the guy at the mall nail bar) wasn't trained correctly because the nail wasn't glued on at all. I am vacationing in Palm Beach Gardens and I needed a wax. I called ahead to see if they had anyone who could take me since I was already in the mall and the gentleman said I could come down now. I got there and my experience was great. The woman who was doing my wax had great attention to detail. The price was $20 which is on par with what I pay when I'm back home. This place is absolutely horrible. I paid $40 for the delux spa pedicure to leave the salon with chemical burns on the bottom of my feet. The water was freezing and after having to ask 3 different times, they finally changed the water to hot water. I went with a friend who's tech started before mine, but my tech completely rushed and half assed my whole experience. To be honest I wouldn't be surprised to find out she had not graduated tech school because she seemed to have no idea of what she was doing. She just watched the tech doing my friend in the chair with me and mimicked her. My friends experience was just as bad as mine. Although a little pricier than I'm used to (here I paid $40 for a mani/pedi; in NJ I usually pay $25-$30), I thought it was worth it. The staff were very friendly, helped me pick out the perfect color. They did try to convince me to upgrade the services I chose, which was a little annoying. However, they seem to spend a lot of time on each client. They massage your hands/feet, and the massage chairs in the pedicure section made the time I spent there quite relaxing. I will NEVER EVER patronize this business AGAIN! The male store owner is a rude, arrogant jerk!I went in at 3pm on a Friday, to avoid the weekend rush, they told me it would be a 5-10 minute wait for a pedicure, which is the standard time quote nail salons tell you, so they don't lose a customer. I knew It'd be closer to 20, based on the fact that the techs doing pedis looked like they JUST started on their clients. 30 minutes later, I asked the receptionist, if it'd be longer? She looked at male owner and he said "20 minutes", I said, "Look I'll go and come back. just next time, be honest, so I don't waste time, I could of gotten other things done". I left and came back in 20. I asked again, if they were ready? I heard the owner say, "Just put her in the water". I told him, "I don't want to be in the water for another 20 minutes, is there someone ready now?" He yelled and said, "Why you making this hard?" I was shocked, and said, "I'm making this hard by asking a legitimate question? and Why are you raising your voice at me, I'm not yelling at you." He looked at the girl whose nails he was doing and said, "AM I YELLING?". I was appalled! I told him, " It was unprofessinal to involve another customer in our conversation". He kept being rude and said, "Are you getting your nails done or not?", I said No! not anymore. His wife came over to diffuse the situation and offered to do my nails. I told her" no, I'd rather not spend my money here now". She said, "He said sorry". I said, "really, I didn't hear that?" And asked the man if he was sorry? He yelled, "Sorry for what!". I said OK, thank you for confirming that I was making a good decision to leave. His wife asked me to stay again, and said, "He's like this, he even talks to me like that." I told her, "you chose to marry him, but I refuse to PAY to be mistreated!" ...and left. AWFUL. Do not go here. We were intrigued by the low prices, but they are not worth the end result. Our service was incredibly rushed, rough, and uneven (three Shellac manicures were performed at $30 each). One of my nails was so badly painted I asked to have it touched up and instead of putting more polish on the bare spot the lady decided to try to FILE AWAY the entire side of my nail. I pulled my hand away in pain and saw my nail BLEEDING.My nail tech apologized a lot and seemed genuinely sorry, but then started wiping away the blood, dropped her cotton pad on the floor, picked it up, and wanted to keep touching my open wound with a dirty cotton ball. Again, I pulled my hand away.THEY STILL WANTED TO CHARGE ME FULL PRICE. After a heated discussion with the 'manager' I got a measly $10 refund.Appalling.
