I rarely ever leave bad reviews, but this experience was bad. The first guy I went to was awesome, but currently on vacation, so they had me go to two new people. While they were extremely nice, the pedicure and gel manicure was quite terribly awful. My newphew could have painted my toe nails better. I have 3 coats of gel an my hands to cover up the bad job. honestly not sure why this place has so many bad reviews. i've been here a few times already and have loved the results. i usually get the dip manicure and they do a great job and give me the exact nail shape i ask for! definitely recommend. also have walked in every time without and appointment and have never had to wait more than 5 minutes. Sue is an excellent gem of a find! Thanks to the Google reviews for an excellent iSpas Nail manicurist. So nice to have a youthful vibe, nice energy and fun music (some lyrics, not music for the easily offended, but I'm sure they'd appropriately adjust the tunes if kiddies are getting manicured as they have children prices too). I was as a new resident in Palm Beach Gardens and I just chose out I SPAS NAIL SALON to do manis. Good and so good! I was welcomed by the graceful staff. They had knowledge about the nail products. I tried this place in a pinch for a mani / pedi. I noticed right away that it looked kind of unkempt. It seemed, from the looks of it that there BIG IDEAS, that either had no follow through or did not work and then were nor replaced. For isntance there is a bar and ipad holders at each pedi station. However, the bar was not used as a bar anymore, just a place for them to store things. We were not offered anything from the bar, which also lead me to believe that the bar idea was defunct. There were also no ipads on the ipad holder/charging stations for customers to use. This gave the place the feel that it had seen better days or that there was no follow through. iSpas Nail Salon is so amazing. I am a first time customer and I will definitely be returning. Their customer service was stellar from beginning to end. I got the pedicure and then returned the next day to get a full set solar set. While getting my pedicure and amazing massage therapist and they also gave me a complimentary massage. I have ever tasted in my life. Everyone is so nice and attends to your needs before you even know you have a need. iSpas Nail Salon was clean and pleasant, everyone was really nice, and they did a great job. Walk in appointment. No one at the counter. Finally after standing there for a few minutes someone happened to walk up to the front. Told her I needed a mani-pedi. She asked if I minded waiting, I said no and picked out my color. Fast forward over 45 minutes later to where they still had me waiting, as I was writing this review. A man came out and took back the woman who came in after me. A different man came out a couple of minutes after to say another woman would be right with me. Unlike most of the reviews I have read I had a very positive experience. I had one of the best pedicures I have ever had and the manicure was great too. I had Ty. My feet and hands get dry and she new exactly what to do. It is a couple of days later and my skin is still soft and moist. I do not get any polish so I can't speak for that, but I do have my nails buffed. The place is clean and the equipment seemed sterilized. Ty does like to chat so that might bother some people. I had never been to a spa that provided iPads before.  I thought it was a very chic and fun idea.  I went with a group of girls for a birthday party.  We had a great time (and did not use the iPads, we self-entertained), but it was really nice to have the place mostly to ourselves.  Our mani/pedi's were nice.  Price was good.  There was plenty of space for all of us to be together, which was fun.  I think it's a great place to go with groups. My first visit was great. Hannah is great at her job. Which is why I decided to return. BIG mistake. This wasn't a quality issue, it was a customer service issue. I arrived for my appointment (at 2pm) and was greeted by a very rude "you're not in our system". When i tell her that i confirmed my appointment she says she called the day before twice to say my appointment was at 1, i didn't get a single phone call or voicemail like she was claiming. Ok, i understand mistakes happen maybe it was their mistake, maybe it was mine, but at least TRY to help your customer. WHAT options do I have, is there someone else that can take me? Is there another time hannah can take me? She was not helpful at all and really rude she said "when you figure out what you want to do let me know." She went to the back and i could hear her gossiping with the other employees and customers saying I shouldn't be angry. I said if i could come back tomorrow, she said she would write it down and when i didnt believe her she angrily says "what you want to look?". I left and believe me i will not be returning. Worst nail salon I've been to. Went today to get a gel manicure and was insanely disappointed. I told my nail technician that I wanted a white color, showed her the gel essie polish on the nail sample ring and she proceeded to pull out the respective color. When she put the 2nd coat of the color on I asked if there was another coat to be applied because this wasn't the color I asked for. She then told me that she wouldn't do another coat & that the color only appeared white on the nail ring because the base was white. My nails were poorly filed and uneven too. So I paid $30 to walk out completely dissatisfied with my nails. I will never come back. Read Less

Awful, awful,awful. I've given this place one too many chances and they never fail to remind me why I said I would never to back! The customer service is horrendous. It's almost as if they want you to turn around and walk out the door because no one will greet you, no one smiles, and no one really cares to help you. My worst experience is when I booked 3 appointments for my wedding. Myself and 2 bridesmaids all went in for the same exact service and were each charged different prices. When we asked why they blamed it on us and claimed we had asked for different things...not the case. The manager lied and said he wasn't the manager so he did not have to deal with the issue. I'm surprised this place is still opened! Right after it opened my mom and I decided to give it a try for our biweekly mani pedi date. We made appointments. Showed up a few minutes early and checked in. The girl at the desk told us it would be a 45 minutes wait because everyone was busy. Ok fine the place was a little busy and we had nothing else to do so we took a seat and waited. We ended up waiting an hour with no one offering us some water or anything or even asking how we were or giving us an update. I mean after all we did make appointments. Finally it was our turn to go back. The services were good. Couldn't tell you the names of the nail techs because they just bothered to talk to each other in their language which I find rude but not a deal breaker. The deal breaker for us was the prices. The prices seemed a little high compared to what we were paying at a different place so we just decided to keep going to our usual salon. Finally a few years later, last week we decide to give them a second try since it's still there. We didn't bother to make appointments since it didn't seem to make a difference last time. We walked in and there was maybe 4 customers there and a group of nail techs standing and talking by the door. It took the girl at the front desk minutes to look up at us and away from her phone to finally greet us which didn't include a "Hello how are you?" just a look. Then she rolled her eyes when we told her we didn't have appointments. Then smirked when she told us the wait was 2 and a half hours. We kindly said no thank you and walked out. She didn't try to stop us or even say bye. Needless to say we will not be trying this place again nor recommending it to anyone. The place itself is a really upscale nail salon. They have the potential to be a hit just with the salon look. However, the desk staff that works there is beyond unprofessional. My family and I went together. And at the end, we all went there for the same exact services, except we all got charged different prices. We didn't realize till later. So make sure if you go, to watch what they charge you. Next, on their website, they state they give a 15% discount for teens. However, the girl at the desk, stated it's an old offer and they're not going to honor it. The only reason, I'm giving this place 2 stars, is because the nail tech did a decent job. Not the best I've ever had, but decent. For the amount of $ I paid, should've been spectacular. Oh, and the issue that pissed off all of us. We each went to the desk to pay, we basically had to wait 5 minutes each before the 2 knucklehead  girls acknowledged us. They were too busy discussing their own personal lives. Read Less

Initially I really liked this place but no longer!!  On two occasions I arrived around 7:20 once during a weekday and once a Saturday only to be told EVERYONE LEFT except the receptionist of course!  Apparently the policy is if no customers arrive by 7 they leave!!!  Mind you the posted hours are until 8:00.  How can you run a business like that?!  You can't and I predict they will be closing in the near future.  Pathetic. It was my first time at the iSpa this past Sunday. Immediately, the receptionist had no smile. She seemed like a little brat and I learned later she indeed is.There was immediate availability for me, which was good.  had a spa pedicure by a woman named, Ty. She was very nice. She did a good job...the experience of the "spa" pedicure here in Florida is rather odd and service lacking. You pay top dollar, only to receive not the best you'd expect for a $45 pedicure. In NY, they take their time massaging each leg and foot. About 5 minutes per leg that's included and they really massage you, not just lather cream or a clay masque on your leg and call it a massage. After the pedicure, she tried to carefully place my feet into my flip flops but,  ended up messing up a toe polish, which I had to point out. She attempted to fix it, but didn't! Also afterwards, I was not directed to a drying area where I could make sure the Polish was dry. Also something that is done Always in NY. I sat up front with my son who came in to meet me with my husband as he wanted to get a regular pedicure. I was reading their brochure of services and it stated that they offer complimentary beverages (water or even wine) as well as an iPad at the chair during the pedicure (which was not working). Since I was not offered a beverage, I asked the receptionist for a glass of white wine. She seemed very annoyed that I asked her. Had an attitude really. I texted my husband while he was back in the pedicure area to take advantage of a beverage to ask for one. Since they weren't asking anyone.. He told me after his experience that the receptionist said to him "Your wife is having one already"... He said "okay, well I'm paying for another service and I would  like one too".. When she came over to the front she said to me " Guess who wants a glass of wine now"? I said to her "Excuse me"? She said "Your husband". I told her well it IS complimentary and I'm sorry if we're bothering you.. I even told her that I plan on writing a review about the spa and she didn't care. I was watching her deal with other clients on their way out and she was making faces at them behind their backs. She should be fired. Who ever the owner is, really needs to take a close look at this girl and let her go and hire a more professional, mature and friendly woman to run the front desk. I will only give two stars and that is because the woman who did my pedicure was nice...but the pedicure In a whole was NOT a full on Spa pedicure and the behavior of the receptionist was presumptuous and rude. Today was the first time I went to ispa. I thought it was great! I didn't need to wait at all, but it was a Wednesday morning afterall. I was skeptical because of the other reviews here but I had a great experience! The rug did not smell like feet as mentioned in other reviews. I have a very sensitive sense of smell and I know I'd be able to smell it. I had a nice pedicure and the massage was just right. Then I got my manicure done with the dipping powders which were very cool. Vivian, my nail tech did a great job on everything!!! I have been a few times. The receptionists are really never very nice, sometimes borderline rude. The technicians, however, are generally very kind and provide a good service. They offer a frequent customer card which makes the prices very reasonable. Not all stations have iPads, which for me is not a big deal but for some it may be important. Read Less

Reluctantly went to iSpa last week for a mani and pedi after a bad experience at Tipsy a couple of weeks ago. I was a bit scared to let anyone do my nails, but after a glowing recommendation from a close friend, I decided to try it out and they did an amazing job. My technician helped me select my color and was pleasant. She did a great job overall and my gel manicure is flawless and still looking perfect a week later! The decor is pretty and having your own iPad while you get a pedicure seems like a great concept. My chair didn't have one, but since I went with a friend I wouldn't have used it anyway. I chose to go to iSpa after receiving a coupon during a stay at a nearby hotel.  I opted for the Essential mani/pedi (which is kind of the mid-grade option they offer).  It was your run of the mill treatment- soak/shape/cuticle care/scrub.  Both my pedicure and manicure were incredibly relaxing and my technician really took her time to make sure it was done well.  My nails and toes look, feel, and smell great.  After my 10% coupon discount, the total for both services was under $40; VERY reasonable for the quality I received.  My technician, Mimi, although friendly was quiet and did not engage in conversation, which was fine with me as I just wanted to relax, but if you prefer someone chatty I wouldn't request her. I noticed they had iPad stations at the pedicure chairs that guests were using.  If this is included I wouldn't know because I was not offered one; that would be my only complaint.  *Keep in mind, this place only allows for cash or check gratuity, it cannot be added to a debit/credit charge.  I only had $4 on me and felt awful because she deserved more so I went back to the next day and left more of a tip.  I will definitely go back to iSpa in the future.
