Went in for a fill. My first time to visit the salon, based on the recommendation from a friend. I ended up getting a new set, at the suggestion of the lady doing my nails. I asked if we could soak off the nails I currently had on but instead she took a nail tip to remove the acrylic I currently had on. Several times she hurt me. I'd let her know it was hurting and she'd stop for a second and then go right back to using the nail tip to pop of the acrylic I currently had on. Several of my finger tips are now sore to the touch. She also seemed to be in quite a rush, I guess because the salon was packed when I got there. The new set looks good, but now I'm paying for it with sore fingers. I don't know if I'll return to this salon yet but if I do, I'll try to not get the same nail tech. Read Less

I have been coming here for almost 14 years!  I adore all the nail techs there! Back in the day Christine used to do my manicures and Charlie would do my pedicures. Now I am loyal to Susan!  I have seen the salon grow so large over the years, but the customer service and attention to detail has remained top notch and even seems to improve all the time. I travel often and have gone to any salons all over North America, but NONE even comes close to Christine's. Read Less

I had a reservation for 1:00 and arrived for the very first time going here and the place was packed! Every chair was filled for Manicure and Pedicures. So I thought it must be a good place. I only waited 5 minutes and was seated for a Pedicure. I had Jimmy, I the received the best Mani & Pedi ever from this man. Not to mention the wine they serve!! Wow!! Worth every dime! Best nail salon in all of St.Pete and I've been to several. Everyone is knowledgeable, everyone is super nice and they actually remember all of their customers. Not just their names and faces but the service they get. It's weird to watch different ladies (and men) walk into the salon and to hear their names called out while their being greeted! I have never been to a salon that everyone and when I say everyone is so nice and knowledgeable this is the only nail place you need in treasure island. I have lived here for about year and travel between my other home in clermont. Clean very clean and fast but in a good way. I have never had a better mani/pedi anywhere I am scheduled for a facial on Tuesday morning. Once again best nail salon that I have ever been to. For a nail salon, cleanliness is always my #1 concern. Here, the utensils are opened for each customer from a packaged bag and they use a lining in the pedicure chairs for hygiene. This is my second visit and the first time I thought it was just OK, but this time, I was lucky to get V. She is amazing! Best foot massage I can remember in a long time. I had the best time being pampered before my wedding at Hawaii Nail and Spa! They allowed me to book a party for me and ten others. We were all taken care of at the same time, they bought us a bottle of champagne to celebrate, and we we're all taken care of in an acceptable amount of time. Our manicures and pedicures turned out to be incredibly beautiful! But the best part was the staff. Everyone was so friendly and kind. We really had the best time! I have been to Christines for years!!! Love it there..... they are SO attentive and helpful! PLUS they are clean!!!!!! I have been to other salons that after my pedicures my feet burned and itched!!! ABUSE BY OWNER! NEGATIVE stars for this Salon! RUDE co-owner Charlie told me,"WE DON'T NEED YOUR BUSINESS" and a woman employee called me a "B" ITCH on my way out the door! I must be an IGNORANT AMERICAN because when I called to find out the price for full set acrylic french whch are pink & white I was told $30.00. I even spoke to owner Charlie, husband of Christine. When I arrived I talked to the receptionist that I had prevously spoken with prior to my visit who was also aware of what I wanted & verified the price. After my nails were done I was charged $52.00! (not inclding tip) I was also asked, sarcastically, if I could "read" the sign that was sitting on a chair BEHIND the receptionist, who was standing when I arrived. I had a verbal verification I thought.This was my first visit to the Hood Rd location. I had been to the US1 salon once about 3 months ago. That was my LAST visit period. I would NOT go to either salon if I had a FREE mani-pedi. I have NEVER been treated so BADLY at ANY salon in my life! Co-owner Charlie basically called me a LIAR and said I "knew" the difference between a full set french pink & white and pink & white tips? I still do not know the difference and he couldn't even explain it! Except it is $52.00! I do not know if it is because of the language barrier, NOT FRENCH, or not. I went to the location on Hood Road at the Publix shopping center. THEY WILL NEVER GET MY BUSINESS AGAIN! Unless you want to be treated like an IGNORANT AMERICAN I wouldn't reccommend this place! Sorry to disagree Michael as I think it is the WORST SALON! The girl that did my nails was v nice but as a LOCAL BUSINESS OWNER I frequent businesses that APPRECIATE my business!
