This place is awful. I called from MA to get a gift card mailed to my mother for her birthday. I mailed it to another address in Palm Beach Gardens and it was never received. Hands down the worst place I've had a manicure I get my nails done on average every 3 weeks and pedicures 6 weeks. I live in the gardens and work in West Palm so I've tried a  1/2 dozen or so in the area. Also I've worked in the industry for more than 25 years.  The whole staff was congregated at the front speaking their native language to each other without a care in the world that a potential client walked in. I had to ask for the service I needed and was pointed to a chair. Before  long I had a coughing attack due to the strong chemical odor. Not one staff member could care less, and when I asked if I could have water, I was told they didn't have any. It was super quick  as well as completely a dry manicure. The lotion that  was gently rubbed into my hands only was mixing with all of my nail filings. I was told to go wash my hands after the 30 second hand massage, and that was that, since I didn't want polish. Overall the most unwelcoming unprofessional unfriendly #poorservice nail salon around. Unfortunately they share the name of a sister salon on US1. I've always had a good experience there. As far as Palm Beach Gardens I've never been disappointed with Posh or  Venetian for example. This place is really nice on the inside. I've been there for a mani and pedi and those were ok. They were a while ago, so I can't say much about them.More recently, I went in for an eyebrow wax. I haven't gotten this done in a while, and it hurt a lot while the lady was doing it. I chalked it up to me having not plucked or waxed my brows in a while. When I got home, they still kind of stung. Today, I can see I have not one, not two, but three or four cuts on my eyebrow where she plucked. I know mistakes happen and all, but 3-4 cuts on one eyebrow is a little excessive. My last mani pedi I remember having the same problem with being cut. Maybe they don't pay attention? The staff was nice, the place was clean and they were very accommodating. But I won't go back. I think most typical nail places can manage a eyebrow wax without injury. Read Less

Worst nail experience ever. Went in with a friend and got acrylics. Both of us were done within 30 minutes, way too fast. They didn't spend anytime on cuticles or massaging. Simply put on the nails and painted them. But they were uneven, crooked, and shaping was horrible (almond and squared- when asked for rounded). She laughed at me for wanting short acrylics and my friends nails were so chunky with no top coat so they were rough as well. Having just moved to the area I thought I would try this local salon. The blasé reception I received when I came in was typical of my whole  experience.  I am very sensitive to smell and the whole place had a chemical odor. The manicure was the fastest I have ever had. One hand was massaged three or four times and the other once. The thing that bothered me the most was the workers constantly talking to each other and laughing.in Korean.  It is not only rude but annoying to those getting services.  I noted another reviewer not only  commented on this but more importantly mentioned she spoke the language and understood what they were saying, which was not complimentary,I am a big supporter of small family businesses but will not go back here again. Every time I go here I never ask for anyone in specific because I have yet to dind someone in this salon that I like. This is my 4th or 5th time here and this will be my last. Everyone have always been nice but there is always problems with my nails, either they are not painted on the corners and the gel has spread to my sides which they either cut the excess or leave like that, gel nails looking like if you had acrilycs done and that they are not evened out. Is just not worth paying for the full service and ending up like this, I will not give this salon another chance. I highly do not recommend anyone go to this salon, you are throwing your money away. I've been going here for years on and off. Today I remembered why there's always an off time. TOTAL RIP OFF! I was there just 2 weeks ago for a liquid gel fill. The person did such a bad job and made them so thin that a whole bunch of nails broke within the first week. So I went in today, 1 week earlier than usual and had to have a full set done. $67 people!!!!!!! They actually charged me an extra $5 "removal fee" to take of the already existing gel. This is the worst nail salon I have ever gotten a manicure from. The man doing my nails was nasty to me, kept trying to get me to spend more money on gel, cut my cuticle really badly and didn't even apologize or stop the manicure. I had to physically pull my hand away from him and get him to get me something to wipe all the blood away with. He rushed me when I was drying my nails and then when I gave him less than a 15% tip he was giving me the nastiest looks and was hesitant to give me my change back. This is the worse Christmas present ever! My husband booked a pedicure and mani for my daughter and I a month ago. We arrived to wait for 45 minutes before they put us in pedicure chairs that were broke. The pedicure was rushed with me watching my daughter get hers then my tech showed to do mine. Then my daughter was taken to get her nails done in a different area while I sat and has my pedicure by myself. On my daughters feet they never filed the nails just a soak and paint. I have tried this place more than several times and have always been unhappy!!! My son has tutoring next door twice a week do it would have been more than convenient if it wasn't so awful. First of all the place smells like acrylic (who does acrylic anymore). It's very clean but that's about the only thing going for it. The pedicure massage is really good but the polish and actual cuticle cutting is awful. No one speaks to you other than to say pick your polish. I've had several manicured which have left my cuticles totally ravaged. The last one she had be started and finished in less than 10 minutes. Terrible spot. Save your money Read Less

I really really wanted to like this place. It's very close, the interior is gorgeous, the price is only slightly above my regular place, it's family owned...it just doesn't feel so much like a strip mall nail salon. We went in for a pedicure and our toes were done nicely and professionally. But I know basic Vietnamese, and I don't appreciate being talked and giggled about during my "relaxing experience." My mom could even tell, and she is blind and doesn't know the language! Three of them were having a grand old time laughing at me for being...allergic to latex? And they decided to do our leg massage but drag their nails on one side to see which of us would comment first. One was laughing so hard she was having to wipe tears from her eyes, and at one point was talking and holding her nose but quickly stopped when she saw me noticed. Her name was Cindy, I believe. And we are not dirty people. We took showers less than an hour before arrival! We are stereotypical Gardens inhabitants, I would imagine. I guess whatever gets you through the work day...but that can't get you many tips (yes, I tipped, don't worry). Anyway, we had read some scathing reviews elsewhere, have friends that have written it off due to to workers' talking and laughing about them. It's a shame because the owner is lovely and knows everyone who comes in, and all the stuff I mentioned in the beginning. I completely understand not understanding English and not talking, but just be silent (or work on your English! We love learning about you and things you enjoy!) rather than making people uncomfortable. I understand speaking to one another when you don't understand how to say it in English (like latex) or want to be discreet (your next customer is the tall my den over there). Anyway, I'm off to call my old employer and find out how to say "If you're going to talk about me while I'm here, please do it in a language I fully comprehend."TL;DR: we will be going back to our regular place where they make an effort to talk to us and not about us. I won't be going back here. The first time I went I got a pedicure and the girl did an ok job, nothing great but no major complaints. So I decided to try it again. I recently relocated from Miami and the same woman has done my gel mani/pedi for years. I came in for a gel mani/pedi and they weren't busy at all so I got in right away with a man (only man there). Then comes the pedicure from HELL! Quick to do to the job with a horrible foot/leg massage. It was so painful he was using so much pressure and zero technique. He was way too rough using the tools on my toes and feet too. All the while he would not stop loudly chatting away in his foreign language, it was so not relaxing and I couldn't wait to leave. I was so uncomfortable!!  We get pedis to also relax, not to have to listen to someone nonstop scream in a language you don't understand. Oh and there was also these pesky flies that wouldn't leave me alone...where were they coming from!? Then I get my gel mani and it was equally miserable. He hurt my fingers when doing the manicure, cut my nails all uneven and then another massage from hell. Both my arms and legs were red afterwards!  I just won't be going back. Read Less

She is amazing and her gel manicures and pedis last over 2 WEEKS! However, the past few times I have gone Angelina hasn't been there and I had to have different technicians do my nails. The GEL manicures now only last a few days until it chips and starts to peel at the edges. I think this is due to lack of shaping and smoothing the edges... :( very disappointed. I had never heard anything about this place, and I'm glad I didn't read reviews before going there. If I had I would have never found this gem! I walked in and the staff was all very friendly. The salon was busy and yet I was seated right away. I asked for french tip pedi and a gel french mani. The pedi was the best I've ever had and I had the most basic. The tech spent a good 10 minutes just massaging my legs, and was very gentle with the cuticle. Most salons cut and make me bleed but not this one. The manicure lasted a little over two weeks, which is what I expected. I've had gel manicures at other places that really destroy my nails or don't last a week. This place is great and I'm going back! The ambiance is phenomenal and it's very relaxing. I definitely recommend this place. I'm returning tomorrow and taking my mother in law. :) Read Less

The place looks nice but they don't know how to do nails. When you're getting a pedicure the manicurist should be able to see what they're doing. It's way too dark for them to even see where theyre putting on nail polish. They also make you wait a long time, annoyed! Don't do it! Read Less

Everyone is friendly and upbeat...Cindy has done my nails for years and I have followed her through the years because of her loyalty and quality of work..I am a true american and I quess some people can get off to the wrong start with poor communication and bad temperment.. Christine nail Salon is one of the best nail salons in the area. They are friendly and do a great job. The prices are reasonable, the massages are great and I always enjoy my experience there. They also have the most UV shellac colors I have seen in Salon.
