I will NEVER give my business to this place again. The first time I went I had a pedi and an acrylic fill; the tech rushed my pedicure and was done before 15 minutes was up while other clients who were there before me were still getting their feet massaged and when I asked if she could work on my feet longer, she ignored me. Then she started on my nails and cut my cuticles 3 times to where they bled, she didn’t treat the cuts and got upset when I asked her not to use a dirty nail file on my open wounds, furthermore she barely filed my nails so that they looked crooked. I complained that I was not happy with the way my nails came out and she kept saying that it was supposed to be her day off and she had places to be too and that she did the best that she could. I had to pay someone else to fix them. I ended up going back there yesterday because the other place I normally go to couldn’t fit me in and all I needed was to have my acrylics taken off. I started taking off my acrylics myself at home on one hand unsuccessfully so I decided to just go back to bayside nails. For starters, the tech didn’t even soak my nails in acetone and began to rip my acrylics off. I was literally crying and told her that she was really hurting me and asked if she could soak them, she said they did have a soak but she never got up to get it and told me to look away and it wouldn’t hurt. She didn’t file or buff my nails smooth after she was done like other salons do after she was done torturing me and when I asked her to file my nails she tried to tell me I needed to put gel on my nails. I kept telling her I don’t want anything else on my nails and to just file them straight, which she then said it would be a manicure. I said that was fine and to please just fix my nails and cuticles... again all she did was barely touch my nails with the nail file and sprayed my hands with water, no soak, no hand massage, no fixing my cuticles. When I asked her if she was going to actually give me a manicure, she started talking in Vietnamese to her co worker as if she was complaining about me so I told her to forget the whole thing, I was done and I didn’t want the manicure anymore. When I went to pay, they charged me $11 for just ripping off the acrylics on one hand since I’d already done one hand prior to going there even though their prices on the wall clearly said “nail take-off - $5.10”. When I asked why she was charging me $11 instead of the listed price she started talking in her language again and laughing, then she said that price was old. The owner came up to me and looked at my nails and said “they look real good” even though they’re chipped and weren’t filed. I paid their damn $11 but left no tip and I will make sure to let everyone I know not to take their business there. Read Less

Went with my friend. We both got pedicures.. we both have toenails that are breaking . 2 of my toenails have almost completely come off. Almost like my nails are shedding part of itself. Don't know what they used but something is seriously wrong. Also both of us were not allowed to pick our own colors. My friend was told her color was not nice and the woman went to the wall and picked a new color pretty much forcing my friend to go with the new one she had chosen. I also commented that I wanted my French to be more pink and I was dismissed and she continued to use an ugly grey color on what was supposed to be "clear" portion of nail. Awful service. I believe an owner (a woman) did my nails and I had to keep asking her to slow down and basically try and do a good job instead of rushing us out of there! My “coffin” nails are misshaped completely and she was RUDE. won’t be going back for sure. Read Less

I went to this place for my birthday and they have terrible customer service. The lady tricked me into paying for more than I should have. A full set is $20 and she wanted me to pay $35. I asked her for a certain design and she swear she knew how to do it. I ended up wasting 10 more minutes watching her mess up my nails even more. I had plans right after, I I asked for a simple color. The nail polish was white but there was black spots and dust mixed in. On top of that, she d...idn’t even clean up around my nails. I was so disappointed and I asked someone else to remove the polish for me. The lady who did my nails then gave me a death stare when I told her these nails were not worth $35. Also she was very close to me and I get very uncomfortable. I’ve had the worst experience in this place. The worst part is that it didn’t even last the whole day. I woke up this morning to wash the dishes and all my nails chipped. One even came off. My sister also had a bad experience after she told a lady she didn’t want to get her nails done. The girl who did my nails was nice. She didn’t do what I asked, but my nails still turned out good so I let it slide. One of your workers aggressively tapped me on my back and was telling me to get up so someone else could go sit down. It was really rude. I have to rethink coming back here for any service. I'll give this place 5 stars because I got exactly what I wanted: a nice manicure, my cuticles clipped, nails shaped and filed, a great color and immediate service as soon as I walked in the door. Michelle paid close attention to every detail and we had a pleasant convo. gonna start this review off by saying its definitely the best salon in the area. The service is always fast/clean and the prices happen to be very good too. When i arrived the first thing i noticed was how nice the staff were. One conversation with them & it feels like you known them for years. There wasn't much of a wait and i was in and out in no time. I used their service for years and they did good work but whenever I made appointments, I was left to wait because they did fit ins. One time I waited an hour and had someplace I needed to be. Appointments are made for a reason so I stopped going. The other day I decided to try it again. My nails were done ok but I asked for thinner nails and she would not do them thinner. She tried to sell me something else that I didn't want. I'm a good tipper. I leave $10 for a $20 set. But this time I left $7. (this was still more than most woman leave). Always to get my eyebrows by one person. And today went and got it done by someone else because the original lady was not there (so i thought). Do another lady takes me back, without even saying a word to me. Just gestures like hand wave for come on, to sit etc. When we are done, she just sat ok all done, without handing me a mirror, which i typically get a mirror handed to me. Then she walks away from me. So i go to the front and tell them i dont like how she did my eye brow...s. One side was thinned out more than the other and cut short and the oppisite for the other side. I went in with full eyebrows so that this does not end up happening. Then she has the nerve to come up to thw front and catch an attitude with me because i didnt tell her when we were in the back and offered to fix them for me i told her no, i do not want her touching them again. So she says to ok then bye you can go dont pay just leavee, leaveee. As if i was threatening her or getting loud. As much as i wanted to i did not gwt out of character. I was still going to pay fpr the service becauae thats just the type of person that i am but i just wantwd her to know she messed them up. Moral of the story dont go there. I recently went here to get a fill for SNS. I was told on the phone that yes they do it. When I got there, they did NexGen, not SNS. She used a light at the end which wasn't what I was expecting. SNS doesn't use the light. Ever.Read Less

The person that did my nails name was Kim not very friendly at all I told her the water for my pedicure was way to hot she ignored me now my feet are swollen  then she burned my eyelids with hot as hell wax never again I would never go back to her this use to be a great nail shop idk what happened. I went here after going several places that I didn't care for. I went in with an idea of what I wanted and Michelle did exactly that!  When she did my pedicure, I almost fell asleep. The massage was great. The tech next to me had an extremely difficult and rude customer. She handled it perfectly and did whatever she could to appease her.  I'm not sure anything would make her happy. I will definitely go back!!!!The only problem I did have was she asked if I wanted a deluxe pedicure. I said no. She asked if I wanted wax and I said no. They had a sign explaining that a deluxe was special cooling gel, hot stones, wax and hot towel. She did all of that except the wax. I was charged $25, the price of the deluxe. Bayside Nails is a gret nail place! First time going and I was seen immediately. I got there when they first opened. The Deluxe Pedi was GREAT! The gentleman took his time and really did a fantastic job. Also, I decided to get a solid color with a design and a nice lady there did my design and she did an AMAZING job. I'm very pleased!
