New to the area, went in on a Thursday evening @ 5:30, they were busy but wait was only 5 minutes. Had dip powder nails from my place in Virginia which Super Nails does not offer so chose gel instead. "Charlie" carefully removed my existing coats, filed down my nails, smoothed, buffed and replaced with gel. He was gentle but quick, in and out in 45 minutes. Nails look great. $25 + $5 tip. Now one week later, had to remove a star. Gel coat was thin and several nails tore on the sides. Found a place in Palatka that does the dip powder (Modern Nails) and had all my torn nails repaired and powder dipped ($35 + $7 tip). So a week and a total of $72 later, I now have the nails I originally wanted. No more gel for me, dip is the healthier (and stronger) way to go (Google it). Read Less

First time I went I brought my friend along and she never went back the nails were bumpy not done right at all. She never went back, every time I been Im never completely satisfied there's always something wrong they are bumpy or the Polish is not on all the way. One girl that works there has a disgusting aditude so bad to the point I had to leave . She looked like she didn't want to do my nail . I will never ever set a foot in that place again . Lazy ! I went in today wanting a full set with color changing Polish. So the lady sathat me down and started on my nails, when I noticed that she was putting gel paint on. I stopped her telling her I wanted a full set, her reply was that it was 25 dollars for gel and 35 for full set. So she was trying to tell me she was going to charge me for the gel Polish plus the full set. They were very busy as always and would not have time to fit me in today, and the small guy up front comes to the back saying "your nails are pretty and gel is done". Ok well if you spoke the eanglish language because we are in America! You would have understood me when I said NO I want a full set! Never again will I go to this nail salon! I paid for the gel Polish even though I'm still not happly with what I got! I will never return to super nails again! They didn't even try to make me happy, just want to urge about what I asked for! This salon, I refer to laughingly, is filthy.  Old rags used for towels. NOTHING IS SANITIZED. they have no idea what they are doing. The staff is rude, ignorant and untrained. Seriously what kind of place charges you $25 for regular clear acrylic but only $20 for french tips?? When I first walked in I told the lady I just wanted acrylic nails she asked if I wanted gel polish to which I replied "no regular " She didn't proceeded to interrupt while I'm talking and says "gel is so much better for you!" Again I told her no regular polish works fine for me I believe Gel is overpriced and I can't stand pushy upsales !! There are no prices listed anywhere other than the sign in the window that says French tip is $20 they can keep their bait and switch tactics. They don't mention that regular clear acrylic are$5 more till after you get them done. I don't know anyone who gets french tip nails it's 2016 they are dated and trashy. Also when I went back to wash my hands there was someone in the back smoking how nasty second hand smoke is dangerous and disgusting!! When she said $30 when I went to pay I was very ticked off of course I know it's $5 extra because I got my nails shaped that's fine you pay that everywhere but she tried to tell me that you have to pay to use their polish also I'm sorry I'm not paying to use a salon to polish I never have anywhere and I've traveled all over the United States avoid this place at all costs! I have been here 3 times and every time has been worse then the last. On my first trip while getting a manicure my fingers were buffed, with the drill, till they bled. The second time I got a fungus under my great toenail after getting a pedicure. This past time my foot bath was overflowed onto a bunch or extension cords. I think the only reason this place even gets business is because there is seriously no where else better in Palatka. Read Less

I find it odd how people think offering complimentary beverages and snacks makes a place seem high class or upper tier, A salon is an environment where food should not be served without a State board License...If they do not have a license posted up it is in violation, whether its in a can or sealed you do not know where they store it. Chemicals and MMA are circulated so you are risking your health. I went there for 2 years until i found a newer Salon & Spa that offers better services, designs that are freehand and not inspired by books, they are always up to date, they speak English and carry out conversations and care about their clients. Quality care and expertise not seen in all other salons in Palatka. This place i go to is fairly new but they already seem to be the spot for relaxation and new trends. Since Daniel and Helen took over the shop it is much more pleasant. No foul launguage and everyone is really nice there. I had my nails done by Ruby, Helen, and Dan and they all have done a superior job. Whenever I had any problem they took care of it right away. They even offered me a complimentary drink. The pedicure was amazing and they do really REALLY good designs. I would DEFFINETLY recomend this shop to any friends. And a nice plus was to see their plaque on the wall stating that they were voted Reader's Choice Best Nail Salon in Palatka for 2011 (: Read Less

I agree. with first comment. They may have a cheaper "deluxe" pedicure...but its just the name that they think will make people think its so amazing a deluxe pedicure is 25.. I went to that Spa in Publix and their Basic Spa Pedicure is more indulgent and they offer more, and use high end products, I prefer them than getting wrapped in newspaper, and paraffin....its so common If you like paraffin so much and consider that a deluxe, well your missing out. Buy a Paraffin tub at walmart, way cleaner then theirs. I went and had a horrible experience, rushed me cause they had another customer and they used the paraffin tub and pedicure tub from someone else and just put me in without cleaning it...and its been 5 times they've done that to my familly and others. Ive been going to Palatka lately to get my nails and pedicures done since i drive through after a long day at work in St. Augustine...and came here 3 times before i found the new salon next to Publix. Super nails is like any other salon. The foul language used, negative comments towards me and the sole of my feet? Then, they laughed and were talking about how i needed there super deluxe citrus callus pedicure and it was only like $35. Then they said i needed a manicure because i had too much cuticles. Money wasn't the issue, it was just the atmosphere and poor customer service, i even noticed that when new people came in they'd take them and rush me out the door. Read Less
