Today I visited Serenity nails for the first time. Kept seeing all the good reviews on FB and wanted to give it a try. Made an apt and showed up and was rushed on what we wanted done to our nails. Gel polish Selection was unorganized and not a lot to choose. Asked if they had nail color on fake nails to actually see the color and apply fake nail to my daughters nail to see color against her skin tone. I was told there was nothing like that there and got looked at like they had never heard of such a thing. When my daughter went up and asked which ones are the gel, he responded as though it was an inconvenience. I have been to many nail salons in my life time and they all have had this for their customers. My daughter said that her nail technician was on her phone and cursing while doing her nails. I wasn’t paying for her to act unprofessional around my daughter. She had gotten acrylic and gel on top with one hand having two coats and the other having three, the technician had asked if she wanted another coat on the two coat nail and said yes because it looked extremely streaky and wanted both hands to look even. As for my nails, I was so disappointed. I felt bad for the guy that was doing my nails because he was nice and just didn’t have the heart to tell him it looked so bad like it did. I think he may have been new to doing nails. I got nothing of what I asked for. I got dip taken off my nails and wanted to get pink and white aclyrics. Something that has been around for how many years. He used a dip powder. I did keep saying to him I wanted the aclyrics because I am hard on my nails and need the thickness of it and that’s why I hated the dip nail process. He assured me the dip powder was the same but he was doing the process as it was acrylic powder. I have my own nails and didn’t need tips so told him to build out to square off because all my nails were different shapes. He didn’t do that and just followed my exact nail and just made them look all off looking. The dip powdered made like these light spots in the pink area of nail. needless to say I should’ve probably said something to him or at least the owner of the salon I just figured I won’t be back I tipped both technicians very well just as I do at my original salon that I go to but was farther from my house and that’s why I figured I would try this place out . I absolutely love this place they treat you awesome I highlight suggest you make an appointment with Ron he did my nails and a friend of mine nails and both sets look amazing they speak very good English and they have open conversations with all costumers. I had RON.... He is awesome. He tried to talk to me; however, I was so tired from work and classes.... I was not the most energetic client. He told me to relax and take a nap and when I wake up my nails will be wonderful. I have no complaints AT ALL!!!!! I told him I wanted my nails short and classy..... he gave me short and classy.. All of them are straight and none of them have those weird ripples. I have been in Orlando for 2 years. I have been through soooo many places. I am just happy to have found Ron. I do not doubt the techniques and skill of the others, BUT I will be faithful to RON. LOL........ Wonderful place.. Very energetic... I have been going here for six months but I've had acrylic nails for eight years. Before I came here, I MIGHT lose a nail once every six months. Now it's become every week or two. They make the nails too thin and they constantly pop off. In six months, I've had a full set replacement TWICE...unheard of! Every time I've mentioned this, I've been told the nails are too old...impossible!Today was the last straw. A nail that was replaced six days ago popped off and my nail was green. I think we all know what that means...sigh.When I called to complain, I was told they had to take a look and chances were that the nails were too old. Do you see where I'm going?It's clear that they provide inferior service and keep bumping up the cost to the customer by doing unnecessary replacements. This is my go to nail spot. Julie and Nancy are my favorite nail techs - both are so nice and do an amazing job. I typically do gel polish on my nails and a deep cleansing pedicure. The gel polish selection is large and they have matching regular polish for all so I can match my nails and toes. The place itself is beautiful and clean. They always offer you a drink. It may be a few dollars more than the others in the area but it's worth it! Read Less

Horrible service, we had a 3pm appointment and no one came to get us. 6 people walked in and where seated before us. This location looks pretty but extremely unorganized and unprofessional. We had to ask 3 times if we were going to be seen. I ended up not getting my pedicure but my daughter did. They rushed her through & for the prices they charge the service is horrible. I honestly give up on this place. I should've known better when I came in and paid $45 for ombré nails after being there for over 3 hours because the nail technician didn't know how and had to pass it on to someone else (they still turned out very poor). The only reason I wasn't charged $55 is because I argued (reasonably). Everyone is new at things and I'm open minded which is why I went back two weeks later. Austin openly admitted that he heard the entire thing two weeks ago, and told me he wanted to soak off the nails and redo them for a discount (because they looked that bad). So we did, and he still charged me $45. The right thing to do would've been to just charge for a fill as it was his choice to soak them off, but fine. Whatever. They looked good, so I decided to only go to him. On my first fill with him, my nails came out so thick, they looked like bubbles. Literally my coworkers commented. Needless to say, one lifted in three days, so I went to Austin to get it fixed. I added fairy dust to my nails while I was there, too. I was in a rush to get to work and realized after I left that he didn't even put a top coat on some of my nails before curing them. I'm a hairstylist and had hair sticking to two of my nails all day. Gross! Then, three more nails lifted. I couldn't make this up.I finally said whatever - not getting my nails done there but I'll continue pedicures because they've always been lovely and did a great job. I took my boyfriend and we both got the All About Massage pedicures. The first time I had this done, I had a great massage. This time, I literally received no massage. I kid you not. Neither did he. We ended up leaving only to realize the nail technician totally cut him, drawing blood, and didn't even mention. His toenail was swollen for a few days. Absolutely unacceptable.Not really sure what can be done to make this right, but as a fellow cosmetologist in the beauty industry and a paying client who spends an average of $100/month on nails, I think I've concluded how I feel about this business. I was a client of this location when it was Paris nails and they are now under new ownership. The business is gorgeous and very clean. The staff is friendly.I had a regular pedicure but had no idea there were other options until he handed me a laminated card with a description of the available services. I don't understand why businesses don't post the services and prices in a conspicuous place at their establishment. My pedicure was good, not the best I've ever had, but suitable. I see others were offered a beverage but nothing was offered to me. I will probably go back because the location is convenient for me but I would not go out of my way to get a pedicure at this business. Read Less

I honestly just didn't like this place. I booked a mani/pedí for my sister and I.  As soon as we get there they are pushing the dip gel nail manicure and say it's  $5 more so I'm like okay then while having the pedicure. She tells us the basic pedicure doesn't include heel scrub and that will be $5 extra. I have never had a pedicure where they don't scrub tour heel. Then what's the point of the pedicure?Plus, the dip gel manicure was $5 more but from the $30 gel manicure. We added the heel scrub but declines the gel dip. All this decision making while getting pedicure made it unrelaxing.  Then when we go to the manicure they kept pushing the gel dip but overly pushing it. I felt very uncomfortable and was tired if saying no. She said it would last 4 weeks and my nails are very week and this would help them grow without breaking. I agree to do it. By sister's lady push it on my sister too and she said no thank you and the lady even looked upset . My sister felt very flustered and uncomfortable and ended up doing the regular gel even though she really didn't want to get them.  I was so glad when they were done and we could get out of there. I did not like my nails, they looked bulky and uneven. My sister's nails were also uneven. Mines lasted only 2 weeks and she had filed my own nail before doing the dip that my real nails were so fragile and cracked, they all broke which was counterproductive to what I was looking for. I am super conflicted about this place. I took my Mom and Sister here to get Mani/Pedis as a gift for my sister's birthday. To make sure everything went down flawlessly, I called ahead and asked for three regular pedicures, and one gel manicure for myself. The man on the phone seemed very nice and arranged an appointment for all three of us at 4 PM. We got there a few minutes early and were all sat down together within 3 minutes. My sister and my Mom both had good pedicure experiences for the most part. My Mom had someone who was trying to be gentle and considerate, but at one point, she was digging a little bit too hard on one of her toes. My mother told her nail technician that it was hurting and maybe she should leave the toe alone, but she continued to poke and prod for a few minutes more. My sister told me she didn't have any complaints about her pedicure and had no issues with pain. Now, as for me... I had a male nail technician and throughout my pedicure, I was telling my sister how much I loved gel manicures because of their longevity and durability. The man took off my gel manicure and asked me if I was getting a new gel mani after the pedicure. I told him that I was and then we proceeded with the pedicure. The first half of the pedicure was quite pleasant and not painful at all. He trimmed/filed my nails, and pushed the cuticles back, but then came the massage.This had to be one of the most painful foot/leg massages I have ever felt. If you are one of those people that love those deep/painful massages or are a masochist, then this would have been the perfect massage for you. There was one point where my eyes were almost watering because it hurt that bad. This guy was digging into my feet to the point I was convinced I'd have bruises the next day. Eventually, he finished up my pedicure by painting my nails and then taking off the aluminum foil and disposing of the old gel nail polish. We walked over to the manicure station and he began to set up for the manicure. He started with the normal procedures, assessing the nails, filing, trimming, and buffing. Once he started painting my nails with normal nail polish, I knew it was too late. He wasn't giving me a gel manicure...he was giving me a regular one. At this rate, I couldn't be bothered anymore so I just went with it. He didn't even give me enough time to dry my nails. I had to ask him to carry my purse because my nails were still wet.To be honest, the manicure didn't look that bad but after a few hours, it started to bubble and form an ugly texture, which is why I have to give this place the review that it deserves. The interior of this place is gorgeous, for the most part, the employees are very friendly, but I just didn't like how badly my nail technician flubbed the job after asking me if I was getting a gel mani. I've been here several times and I'm always 100% satisfied. The ambiance is definitely a step up from a typical nail salon, but the prices are still very reasonable. The staff is friendly & you can make appointments online which is convenient.Also I'm not sure what they do different here, but my natural manicure, with no gel, can last me over a week! Overall, I had an incredible experience at SpaRenity. I love the way their nail polish is organized by color, with the gel equivalent right behind each bottle of regular polish. It really helped someone like me (someone who tends to spend forever and a day making a decision).When I sat down for my pedicure, I was immediately greeted and started off with a drink. Every step of the way, my technician made sure I was comfortable (asking if the water/towel was too hot, if the massage pressure was ok, etc.). I know that's something small, but it makes a huge difference to me! I appreciate their attention to detail here. I recently moved to this side of town and was in desperate need of a nice, inexpensive nail salon to try out. A friend of mine referred me to Mona at Sparenity. After being referred of course I initially checked their website as well as yelp reviews and saw nothing but good things. So I decided to give it a try. I booked my appointment on a Friday evening with Mona. They are usually super busy around that time but I guess i caught them on a good day. A different woman did my pedi but she did a great job. The atmosphere is nice and the shop is beautiful. I was completely mesmerized by the beautiful chandelier in the middle of the salon. The salon is huge with more than enough pedicure chairs and nails stations. They were also very clean. Not to mention they have a huge variety of colors to choose from. This was also my first time trying SNS powder on my nails and I've fallen in love. I was getting my nails done for a wedding so I needed a nice neutral color but I wanted an accent nail or some sort of pop. I told Mona what I liked and picked a colored powder. They found me an exact match with my toes. Mona also ended up mixing two different powder to get this amazing color that had just the pop I wanted! The prices weren't bad at all, the customer service was amazing not to mention my nails look great! I would highly recommend this place and I will definitely be going back. PS. They also serve wine! Truly no complaints. The salon has every color you could possibly want. The variety of gels, regular colors and SNS powders is amazing. Plenty of pedicure chairs. Plenty of people to do your nails. I came in yesterday for a gel mani and massage pedi. All I can say is wow! I have been to this establishment when it was owned by the previous owner which was terrible. The services I received yesterday were awesome! I have never been in a nail salon so busy, but everyone was being taken care of. I walked in with no appointment and probably waited only 10mins. I finally found another option closer to home! Under new ownership since late December 2016 and I never noticed this nail salon on Yelp...I wish I had and I wouldn't have wasted my money elsewhere!  But that will be in a separate review!Nice and clean modern decor with about 20 mani and pedi work stations.  The business is owned buy two sisters and their husbands which all work there.  All of the employees which includes two of the owners children speak perfect english which seems to work well for some of the ladies that love to chat it up as they're getting their nails done. I called the day of to see how busy they were and lucky for me 30 minutes later I was sitting in the pedicure chair which was wonderful! The massage it gave was great! Young did my mani and pedi and she did a great job!  She took her time didn't do a rush job, and actually did everything that I asked for!  Few things to note:For the "cheese grater type of gal" as one of my fellow Yelpers called herself, there is a $5 extra charge with PediWant to remove gel and just do regular mani there is a $5 chargeMy first visit was a pleasant one and I will be back but a bit of advise with regards to customer service for the male owner.  Sorry I should of asked his name...the one that sits in the first row the shorter of the two.  If you want to walk around the salon and ask how things are to the customers don't just ask the return customers include everyone.  I commend you on doing this which is seldom seen since most of the time the owners of the salon are not present.
