My sister and I are visiting Orlando and we selected this business based on the on the online ratings. After the way that we were treated, it seems like some racial bias occurred. There was no dryer for our nails, and the pedicure was 100% subpar. I had to ask for a toe separater, and the technicians talked about us in their native language. Wonderful experience we were looking for a couples pedi we called from the road and they took us right in! And gave us the best service even though it was completed well after closing. When I first came in, I was greeted by a disembodied voice as the receptionist was talking to me around the corner. I found that to be odd but was quickly moved from the reception area to the nail color station where I chose my colors and was escorted to the pedicure station. I had received another mani/pedi at a different nail salon just a few months before and received absolutely horrible service so I knew going in that I was really going to base whether or not I'd come back based on the time spent tending to my nails. Well, I was far from disappointed. I had so much cleaning up to do left behind by my other experience and Ann, the technician, took such care in making sure my nails were clean and cleared up. I did opt for the callus removal and exfoliation which is an additional ten dollars, but found it to be completely worth it; my feet have never been softer. After 45 minutes, we moved onto the manicure and this was my favorite part. She again took her time and made sure that my nails and cuticles were cleaned up; they haven't looked this good in a long time. Her attention to detail left me very happy and I can say with absolute certainty that I will be back. I don't believe I will purchase the callus removal every time I come in, but I think every couple of months it'll be worth it. In total for a classic pedicure with callus removal and exfoliation and classic manicure with gel application, as well as tip, my total came out at $78. I will say that's a little steep and back home in Michigan I'm able to get the same service for about $50 including tip, but that is not the fault of the technician and I will not deduct stars for something out of their control. Been here about 7 times. It's a well set up nail spa, very clean, good ambience. The nail techs I've dealt with have been friendly and efficient. The owner, Tammy is friendly too. Once I had polish on my acrylics chip badly after 2 days and she was gracious enough to offer a discount on my reapplication. Problem I have with this place is you book an appointment and it's confirmed that it's ok for the time that you book but still have to wait when you get there. One time I was confirmed to that the tech I wanted was available but on getting there, was told she was off duty. Today, I booked and on getting to the spa was told the nail tech was busy and couldn't take me. My fault, I was 10 min late and should have called. However, the person the nail tech was attending to was way beyond a 10 min job meaning they started on them before my appointment time. They didn't call me to tell me they couldn't attend to me despite getting my number at the time of booking. Then the person at the reception tells me to come back tomorrow that they were about to close. I asked him if he was going to reimburse my time and transport costs and after talking to the tech told me I had to wait 35 more minutes before getting started on. Thankfully, I only waited about 15. Disappointed! The nail spa needs to have a more efficient appointment scheduling system. And what's the point of taking phone numbers if you can't communicate with the client to advise them on changes that may arise, which I understand is a possibility? Came in on Sunday to get my old acrylics filed down and blended to my natural nail. I told them I didn't want a fill because I wanted to transition to regular nails. I decided on getting hologram polish and when all was said and done I was Charged 45. They told me that's because of the hologram which was 15 and 30 for filing. After leaving I saw the price menu and it cost more than a fill would. It's now Tuesday and the hologram is already chipping! Took a chance on the great Yelp reviews and got a Mani Pedi, with my sister. Excellent pedicures, with above average massage. Manicures were very good, although about on par with other good salons. Costs were about average for the area. Best part was that my toes weren't dry but my manicurist put my sandals on anyway, which messed up the polish. They gladly repaired nicely, then put on those typical pedicure cheap sandals and sent me on my way. Satisfied customer here. Recommend to anyone, although as with most salons, be prepared to spend some time here as things don't move along quickly. Read Less

I had the best pedicure! From the service to the treatment offered.  The chairs were magnificent my pedicurist gave the best massage! I live in Tampa but was in desperate need of a pedicure they stayed open late to take me even though they were closing in half an hour and they dodnt rush me nor my servuce! I've been trying to find a nail salon that I really like and I'm happy to say I finally have! Tammy's is wonderful! All of the nail techs are friendly and extremely skilled. My tail tech (I can't remember her name) was a master at my gel manicure. It looks perfect! My mom and sister also got manicures and pedicures and all of them looked equally amazing! For a gel manicure and a regular pedicure it was only $55 which is amazing compared to other prices I've paid for the same services elsewhere. All in all, GO TO TAMMY'S!!! You won't regret it. This was a pleasant find.Everything is clean and sorted, and the main room is a big loop of 15 pedicure whirlpool chairs with basin liners with an inner loop of granitetop manicure stations. You don't feel like walking through a dog kennel in here like you do in other places.One tv is tucked into a corner, and calming music is played. Everything except the metal tools were tossed after use. Scrubs and masks were in individual one ounce containers with lids (no double dipping). Lotions and oils were in squirt bottles (instead of tubs). I was asked which callus filing I preferred. No part of my service hurt at all. They offered coke, diet, water, and wine to me. They have matching polishes for their gels (O.P.I.), bio seaweed gel, opi polish, opi 2 shine polish ($5 extra), Essie polish, and Zoya polish.After taking care of people all day at my job, it's nice to be taken care of just as well in return when I'm a customer. Had an amazing experience for my first time. I have gone to get my nails done several times in the Dr.Phillips area over the last 3 years and usually I have to choose between a cheap and not so nice place or an over priced spa. This is the best of both worlds!
