I was slightly skeptical about starting eyelash extension services at first, for my own personal reasons. Though Taylor immediately made me feel right at home and walked me through the entire process and answered all of my crazy questions! WOW! What an amazing experience! Had the most incredible facial at this fabulous studio. I first learned of Mosaic through a Yelp event back around Christmas-time and loved it! After quite a few months, I finally made it back to this place to use a gift-card I had been given and was absolutely blown away!I opted for the mini- facial (lasts about 30 min), which is reasonably priced at just $45. Ashley, the esthetician that performed the facial, was seriously the nicest and sweetest lady ever! She was incredibly knowledgeable, and took the time to learn about my skin and curated an amazing facial that fit my wants and needs. She used a variety of scrubs, cleansers, light treatments, and even some microdermabrasion throughout the session which made for an extremely pleasant and peaceful experience! It was also SO RELAXING! The spa is beautiful, clean, and open with lots of white accents and great natural light. It is located in an amazing vintage house adjacent to the Mosaic Hair Studio, where they offer colors, cuts, and many other amazing services. All of the staff are incredibly friendly and knowledgeable and really know how to create a perfect spa experience for all of their guests. Mosaic hair study truly does it all- blowouts, haircuts, makeup, eyelashes, waxes and even weddings! Lindsay has cut and highlighted my hair for years- I trust her instinct and intuition. When it came time for our wedding I couldn't imagine anyone else doing my hair and makeup. Lindsay and her team came to our venue, they were extremely helpful in listening what each bridesmaid wanted, and made sure that it was exactly what they wanted. They had even made sure flower crowns were tied in on top of various hairstyles. I have heard horror stories of makeup gone wrong at other weddings. Only a couple of girls were initially doing makeup, when they saw their work the other girls asked if they do could have their makeup done! WowWowWowwwwww! Where do I even start!? This place is great! I first learned of it through a yelp event and, while I was there, purchased their holiday gift packages (one for myself and one for my mom). This consisted of an hour massage and an hour facial. We got teasers of both treatments at the Yelp event and I was hoping I'd see familiar faces for my actual appointment.  My facial was first and Michaela was incredible! We recognized each other right away since we'd met at the Event, and I was excited to have her as my aesthetician. The facial was rejuvenating, relaxing, and cleansing. Her hands were so soft and I was in heaven as she played with my face. Sounds weird, I know, unless you've gotten a facial before you won't understand.  lol My massage was next and was with Corey. Hooollly crap! He was fantastic!! He had done my chair massage at the previous event and I thought he was OK, but he blew me away on this day. His hands are like magical little nuggets sent straight from above. Like, no joke, it was probably the best massage I've ever had. Like, so good that I even said joked that I was envious of his wife/girlfriend/boyfriend/domestic partner who gets a massage from whenever they want. Lol!!! I visited Re:Fresh today for my first PERK treatment with Ashley. For starters the ambience of this place is super cool. Very relaxing, clean, and full of good vibes. Being an Aesthetician myself, I usually choose Hydra Facial for my monthly "pore cleansing / exfoliating facial" the glycol in the products tends to dry me out sometimes so I decided switch things up and give the hydra facial sister treatment, PERK, a try. This treatment felt even better, my entire face (including lips and eye area) are super soft and just feels clean! This treatment was so quick and comfortable this will definitely be my new go-to. Plus I was sent home with all of the post care products to maintain the results between treatments. Needless to say I loved it and the skin care professional, Ashley, did a fabulous job! Read Less

There is a small parking lot in the back used by both the hair studio and the spa. I would also recommend street parking on the side street.Checked in at Mosaic and was walked over to the Refresh building to fill out some paperwork. I'd recommend coming about 10 minutes early to do this, so you can start on time. I went in for the mini facial and ended up upgrading to a full hour facial with microdermabrasion (there was some confusion though because I got charged more than I was quoted to upgrade, but I'll deal with that later). Ashley, my facialist, was really kind and explained the flow of the appointment before she started so I knew what to expect. Although I don't remember exactly the names of everything she did specifically, there was some cleansing, two masks, a foot massage, extraction, microdermabrasion (suction), and 2-3 other "modules" were used on the skin. During most of the procedure, there was a stream of steam directed toward my face, which they can change the level of it if bothers you.I enjoyed the relaxation the facial provides and just knowing that my skin is getting clean. The bed and towels/blanket was pretty comfortable. I liked doing the hour because it allowed my facialist the time to get to know my skin better and it gives me more time to relax and rest. =) At the end, Ashley recommended a serum I could purchase next time if I was interested. I also received a $25 off $65 of services "gift card" when I left, which was unexpected, but appreciated! The facials at Refresh are priced higher than I would want to pay normally, so I can't promise I will be back (unless I snag a good special), but I do recommend them if you can swing the cost. I went to this gathering on the 3rd not knowing what to expect. I knew that they were going to do make-up, massages and there would be food. But it turned out to be so much more. When I arrived early the staff informed me that this was the place. I parked behind the cottages. Yes there are two one for hair and the other for massages and facials. Mike the owner and our gracious host told me all about the sit up. He was very charming as he spoke to me about how he got this started and the kind of services that he offers. The atmosphere was really amazing, I felt like I was walking into my very own personal salon. And it had that home town fill to it. There were plenty of windows that let the light it, and added to the ambiance. Then the model came out and we were taken on an amazing journey of how to apply makeup. Watching her put the make-up on and telling us step by step the does and don'ts was very interesting. She told us all about the products that she used on the model and that she had shades, for all skin tones. She also added that they also give lessons to women and show them how to do their own make-up. She also said if you wanted to bring your own, she could teach you how to put it on to get the best results. I found this very informative and the surprising part for me is that I did fill under any pressure to buy any thing. Then the gave us a massage and a perk treatment for free. Now I did not do the massage but I did do the perk treatment on my lips. Wow! this is amazing, my lips looked wonderful after the treatment. They were fuller and softer. Its like they removed all of the rough areas and replaced it with soft, fuller, moisturized lips. I noticed the difference immediately. I loved this treatment so much, I will be back. I am already a huge fan of their sister business, Mosaic Hair studio, and I took advantage of a deal they were offering that included a mini facial along with a hair cut.  The day of my facial, I decided to #TREATYOSELF and added on a 30 minute massage as well.  The two businesses are right next door, and you still need to go to Mosaic and check in and then they will walk you over to refresh.  Jo did my mini facial and had me complete some paperwork and offered me some refreshments.  She took very good care of me and spent 30 minutes massaging my face with the best smelling soaps and oils.  What was especially nice is she didn't try to sell me any kind of products or procedures.  She then offered me the COMFIEST ROBE ON THE PLANET and I was transferred into the hands of Danielle, who did my massage. Again I had to complete some paperwork and was offered refreshments and then was treated to one of the best massages I ever had!!! I had some awful knots in my shoulders, to the point that I wasn't sleeping the night before and she took the time to work them all out.  She continually put me at ease, making sure I was okay with the pressure, type of music and lotion she was using and asked the level of talking I was comfortable with as well. Fantastic facial experience with Jo today. I did the Cyto-Luxe firming facial. The products are high-end and you can tell the ingredients start working the second it's applied. Loved the pumpkin enzyme mask and the serum mask was also wonderful. My skin is free of dead skin and I can already see the more radiant result. The minimalist decor and ambiance is so clean and peaceful. Timeless design was the style the owner went for in this BRAND NEW spa, very pretty and welcoming. I'll definitely go back!!! When you walk in the door you already feel at home! Mosaic treats you like family. I have been going to Mike for over 11 years and I also have Kiri (his wife) do my hair as well. I have been a customer since Mosaic opened. I just came back from there with a phenomenal haircut that really took ten years off my age. Owned by a husband and wife who makes you feel like family it is also very sophisticated. They travel to learn the newest cuts and products.I had them straighten my hair with the Japanese technique and it worked so well I had both my daughters get their hair straightened as well.
