I took my little girl here and was so pleased with not only the end product but the care and attention they gave to her throughout the process. My little girl is wheelchair dependent so to find someone who is patient and willing to accommodate someone in a wheelchair has been a long time challenge. Nikki and Myesha (hope I’m spelling names right) tag teamed to get her hair done in a timely fashion between their other customers. This experience was so much better than experiences I have had in other salons. I’m so glad I gave Joni’s Beauty Bar a chance because they exceeded my expectations. They provided a beautiful/clean atmosphere, sweet/caring staff, other customers present were friendly and accommodating, great styles, great prices with no need for guessing because it’s all written out on the website, and creative membership program that offers discounts. This place is no better than any other hair and nail place and WAY over priced. They advertise that they open and accept walkins on saturdays. We were infront of the store at 9:30am on a saturday, and they were closed. We called up and they told us we had to schedule an appointment. Joni's beauty bar has been good to me over the past year. She helped me discover what a "weave" was and how many other hair styles worked. I not only got my hair done, she offered other services like pani/pedi's, eyebrows, lashes, wigs she could personally make, and braids!She has a rewards program which is very convenient. I had the 50 dollar card. So basically every month 50 dollars came out of my bank card to add to my funds for her salon. And then every time I got a service done 10% was taken off of everything I got done individually. She has other options as well with more money involved if that's something you were interested in. It worked out great because it guaranteed me to come back for her sake, and helped me at checkout, so the payment was less.Many times I went to Joni's salon we would always jam to the music and vibe out. She made you feel at home. Unfortunately we could not see eye to eye on a few things and have gone our separate ways. Meisha is my girl for Plaits! It's been a month since I've got my hair done and it still looks fresh. What's special about this place is not only the quality of my hair and treatment but also the environment. The other customers and hair dressers are nice and keep great conversation and we sang the entire Destiny's Child The Writings on the Wall album like what other beauty store does that!! I could go on & on &... on about this place. There is happy, very happy & "I just came from Joni's Beauty Bar!" She is very professional yet personable & have magic hands!!!! I called last week to make an appointment to get my hair done. Joni answered & not only was she very professional but she also goes beyond just telling you to make an appointment online. She also offered her help if I had any issue with the website. The day of the appointment, I received top of the line service. I had to deal with another stylist (in NY) & my 360 frontal install was a complete mess. Before Jony even started doing my hair, she made sure to explain everything to me including the price. She washed my hair & the extensions (separately) which is very rare for a few hairstylists to do. I have very short hair. She managed to braid everything & it wasn't tight. I really liked & was intrigued how she able to work with the pieces that were left by the previous person who did my hair. I have no clue how she did that... and then I completely fell in love when she styled the hair. It was SO PERFECT that a customer walked in & told me that my hair looked very healthy & I had to tell her that it wasn't my hair. I am just in love with my hair!!!! Joni's hands are divine. She does everything. She then did my individual lashes & nails (the ballerina shape was done to perfection). I am soooo happy I came to her. I first started going to joni's for my nails and I will never to to another salon for get my nails done or a pedicure! My nails never chip or break and there are so many color options. I basically go in with a picture and she does it!.... After getting my nails done for so long with her I see soooooo many ladies walking out the salon looking " runway ready" I decided to give her a try for my hair styling needs. and Now I am " runway ready" Nikki is very professional and the salon is super clean. The quality of hair that she uses for extensions is amazing! It never knots and she even gives you step by step instruction on have to care for the hair.  Now, I don't want to give away all my beauty secrets but Nikki takes care of all my beauty needs from HEAD to TOE... I've been wearing Jonis Collection hair for years and Jonis Beauty Bar definitely keeps to the standard. Nikki made me several custom wigs and I get compliments on them all of the time.
