We have been coming to Love Nails for almost 15 years. The staff is friendly, although on the quieter side and some see that as rude. They do a nice job on their pedicures and manicures. I have not had anything else done, but they do offer other services as well.One thing I'm a little disappointed in is the new "menu" for pedicures. Pedicures used to be OSFA, and you got your calluses taken care of, a little bit of a leg/foot massage, etc. Now everything is a la carte, but I've seen that at every other place I've gone to lately as well. I called earlier today and asked what you me did they close. The man said 6 oclock. I asked for a 4 pm appt. He said didn't have a 4 pm. I said what time do you have. He replied 530. I repeated 530. He said yes. I said I'll see you at 530. I gave him my name. I get there at 515. The lady greets me and I tell her I'm there for a pedicure. She tells me to pick my color. 5 minutes later she's at the register asking me if I have an appt. I said yes at 530. She said we close at 6 I said I'm aware of that and that was the first question I asked prior to making the appt. He comes t the register looks through the books and says something to her in "their" language and goes to sit down. I looked and said I would take my money elsewhere. I put the polish up and left. Owner is very rude. Very bad attitude.Do not spend your hard earned money here. The hateful comments are correct. In fact this salon is never busy. I have been here 3 times and I refuse to go back. I have been a return customer for 3 years once or twice a month as well as guest customer with Kim when I lived in Texas and came home for visits for 7 years. This is a family run business. I have known them for years. The hateful comments below are not correct. In fact it seems racist against this Salon. This is a very busy salon. It works best to call ahead and set up an appt. Once you get to know kim and become a regular she is a sweet and caring person. She remembers your needs and desires so you don't have to be asked agaim about what pedicure you want etc. If you want something different then tell her up front. Worst nail salon experience EVER! When I arrived, the owners, husband and wife were the only ones there, no customers at all. With no greeting to speak of, they motioned me to sit with the wife. She began my nails without saying a word to me and continued her conversation in Vietnamese with her husband the whole time she was working on me (that is just rude, in any culture!!) She did not shape my nails the way I asked her to and then got very upset when I asked her to change the shape, telling me I should have told her before she did 5 fingers. She began speaking again only to her husband in loud tones, again in Vietnamese and they were clearly talking about me, while she pinched my fingers very hard and began filing again. I pulled away and her husband asked me to move to his chair to "fix" my nails, but never said a word to me, meanwhile his wife is STILL going off and then got up and stormed into their back room. I was near tears by this point- feeling horrible for speaking up....and then I remembered, I AM THE CUSTOMER. I was not rude or demanding, I asked nicely for what I wanted (using the same vocabulary I've used at other salons for 20+ years with no problem.) I left half way through a full set because I felt so mistreated and upset..and my nails look awful, to boot. Clearly, the owners of this place have gotten spoiled with being in a great location with lots of foot traffic. They've forgotten how to be courteous, flexible and that the number one rule is- the customer is always right! Now...I have to go find another salon to take these horrible nails off and start all over again. Oy. Read Less

One word: RACIST. My mother and I came here on several occasions over the course of the past several years. Each time we walked in, no one greeted us. Yet each time a white customer walked in, they got a very nice and warm welcome. We pay money and bleed red just like everyone else. One time we walked in and they completely ignored us so we just walked out and never returned. I will never give my money to a racist establishment. Read Less

This place is my favorite for pedicures. They offer several types of pedicures to choose from and I always leave with my feet feeling sooooooooooo soft! They have always been friendly and sometimes offer discounts (last time was $5 off). I highly recommend this salon. Read Less

I have been a regular with them for over year now and even before then when I would come home for a visit I always receive great treatment from the owner and her nail techs. This nail salon is close to shopping. They have never neen rude. If they cannot do things right away they give you an estimation. The owner s the main person who does the waxes. My gel nails have always lasted a long time compared to another shop I use near work on occasion. I thinl witj any salon, people have to feel comfortable andto have an open mind. As for the bad reviews, the company is owned and operated by an asian family who has lived and worked hard in Orange Park for a very long time. Read Less

My hubby surprised me with a mani/pedi/brow package. I thought sweet.. I will head right over. When I got there the atmosphere was dull, drab and depressing. Not warm and inviting. People were being turned away and asked to come back on another day at 2:30 in the afternoon. The TVs were muted..  Okay job done on my nails and brows. But the somber look on the employees face was a real turn off for me. 2nd try- Not for me.. Harsh atmosphere, every time I walk in there I feel like someone just got told off. They were extremely rude to me. The salon is clean and looks very nice but the prices are not worth the quality. The staff argued with me after I had showed them the picture I brought in and how it did not match my nails. They were rough with my hands and they did not pay attention to my concerns through out the process. I came in for a pedi/ new acrylic set/ and eyebrow wax, but after they did my hands I paid and left because of their customer service. I was itching to left asap! Horrible salon! The staff/owners definitely should take courses in customer service. I don't know how they are still in business. I was greeted with a cold "Hello" as if I were interrupting their day, afterwards they were so quiet and unfriendly until I got the creeps and could not wait to get out of the place. The only time they spoke was to each other briefly but not in English or Spanish. I wished I had gone else where to have a relaxing pedi/mani. I really hope they improve or close their doors. You wil be disappointed if you go here. The place looked clean but the staff very unfriendly and talk amoung themselves in a forgein language. They do not ask what you want or like just do their thing when I did ask questions I just got yes as an answer and I dont feel they even understood the question because they either lied or just kept doing what they where doing. When they where almost done I asked the question again and she said no thats how it is when before it was the line will be gone in my nails,Then she proceed to argue with me about it.
