This is the worst nail salon I have ever been to in my life.I came here before my workout class that is in the same plaza, hoping that I found somewhere I could stop into every now and then! I walked in about 20 minutes before closing time, and was greeted and asked what services I would like. I asked how much a gel manicure was, and how long would it take (I had about 45 minutes). He said it was $25, and it would not take long at all. Perfect! They had an okay-ish color selection, nothing special. I was super excited about getting bright red nails for the 4th of July that weekend, so I picked a nice red. The place is definitely not upscale, and about halfway through the manicure, I noticed all their barbicide jars were completely empty. Not sure how they sterilize their tools. Ugh.The manicure part wasn't very good. My nails weren't filed very straight, and I was cut at one point, as well. Not pleasant. Once he started to paint my nails, I was happy with the color. I noticed when he was almost done that the sides of my nails weren't covered, only the middle third. Obviously I asked if he could touch this up. He got angry and started taking my polish off. I said he didn't need to do that. Then I really started looking at my nails. OMG! Worst polish job I've ever seen. Huge clumps of nail polish in mounds on top of my nails, polish all over my skin, etc. It looked like a 3 year old painted them, and I am not exaggerating. At all.I had been sitting in the chair for about 40 minutes at this point, and asked if he could please just take the polish off because I had no time for him to re-do it, nor did I really want him to after the first try. I had about 5 minutes to get to my class. He started taking it off, which I thanked him for. As I was getting ready to leave, I was told I needed to pay $10 for the manicure.Ummmmm... It was awful. There was still chips of red polish left on my nails, the already mediocre manicure was ruined by the removal of the gel polish, and I was not happy. I told them I shouldn't have to pay for a service I did not receive. The guy actually BLOCKED MY WAY and stood in front of the door until I agreed to pay the woman at the register. I decided not to put up a fight, it was only $10. But I could not believe I was being blocked in by a grown man like that.BAD business. BAD employees. BAD work. Read Less
