I’ve been shopping around ocala for a decent nail place for a while now and ran into pro nails because it’s close to my work. Mike did an absolutely fantastic job! Love Andy took him a picture and he did exactly what the picture looked like except I changed the colors and he was very patient with me while I was picking out my colors which I change twice on him. So I decided to go here after work on Sunday because they were open until 6pm. My coworker goes here and told me to try them out. I only needed a pedicure. So I walk in first thing I noticed was how nice inside it was. Second thing I noticed was that no one greeted me. So I signed in on the clipboard and had a seat. I'm sitting for about 20 mins. No one acknowledged me at all didn't even tell me what my wait time will be or anything. So I left. Idk what's up with these places but ACKNOWLEDGE A PERSON WHEN THEY ENTER YOUR ESTABLISHMENT. I've been a few times, and even brought family, and it's always been fine. Today, NOT SO MUCH. It's starting to become a pushy sales environment, so if you don't do a package, or get gel your basically paying for them to paint your nails. They won't give you a basic manicure. Didn’t respond to my message but they read it, went in the receptionist didn’t even say hello, and I felt like I was being ignored when I was trying to ask questions. The lady that did my pedicure cut my toenails so short they hurt for about a week. Kayla does a great job on my nails! The dip in powder nails are awesome and always look great! Management is friendly and ensures that you are happy with your nails. Very disappointed. Do not go to Andy. He paid more attention to the sports on his phone then he did my nails. He never even gave eye contact or spoke. Nudged my hand when he wanted to change hands because he was looking at his phone.They were square when I got there. Now, some are square, round etc. All different shapes!! He ruined my big toe with my flip flop & didn’t bother to fix it. Needless to say I didn’t leave a tip. Michael is awesome but he is out for several months. Manager will be spoken to tomorrow. Very neat clean friendly atmosphere but DON’T let that FOOL YOU… I am new to the area went here about a week ago and had my nails taken off and a new set put on remind you I’ve had nails for years and I have NEVER had my nail tips separate like this from the liquid gel like I had happened this time... I go in to have a nail repaired do to the separation of the nail tip and the gel and show them how they’re all lifting and water is getting up under and going to cause a fungus ...and their response was we can put glue around the edges or it’s $45 for a new set... glue around the edges... REALLY less get real you can see water up under them and that’s just what I want to do cause a fungus on my nails for sealing water under them... very poor place and they do not stand behind or take action 2 fix there mistake... i been a loyal customer for over a yr loved it .. till today i had gotten sick and needed to cancel i had been trying for 20 minutes to call the phone kept ringing and ringing i tried both of my phones . then finally they answered and put me on  hold . Some one hung up on me i called again thinking ok  something is wrong with phone lines. Nope girl answering phone said she was to busy to answer it . In business a ringing phone is a no no  . She then wanted to be argumentative to me about it wasn't her that hung up on me i said i didn't say you per say did . I said i needed to cancel my appointment i was sick she said ok done. I said to her i wont be coming back again due to her nastiness  i hoped her day got better  due to she probably needed it to. My daughter and arrived a little early and told that even though we had made an appointment because we had not been assigned to a nail tech when the appointment was made, we would be treated like a walk in and the wait was an hour! Awesome place to visit without doubt, they have good prices and a lot of options to choose from, has two very friendly and great receptionists, i love this place it's very comfortable to be there and get your feet's done, place is always clean and the people that works there are very polite and professional on what they do. They are very expensive. The lighting is more appropriate for a restaurant or maybe a salon for massages but not nails. Also they said after 5 minutes (if you're late) your person goes to someone else. A BIG thing is u can't add a tip to your credit card! U have to remember to bring cash. And I never carry cash. Went in on a Sunday for a basic mani/pedi, wasn't greeted by anyone. Signed in and was told it was a twenty minute wait. After twenty minutes the girl put me in the pedicure chair and said the nail technician would be along shortly. I sat in the chair, no water in the tub, just the massage function on and waited. Fifteen minutes later no one had shown up, or even spoken to me. I ended up leaving. I passed several employees on my way out, and no one said anything as I left. I'll give credit when due. The shop is VERY nice but the wait is beyond long. My pedicure was rushed, they charged me to shape my nails, charged me for gel which is expected but plus an extra $15 for chrome... Overcharged me and gave me a discount card, when I reach my 10th visit I get $10 off. I checked in 3:15 and left 6pm. Never going back here again. Definitely not worth my money! Read Less

I've been going to Pro Nails for 6 months. The first 3 nail techs left and I was constantly having to try someone new. Yesterday was the third time I got there on time for my appointment and the tech had JUST STARTED on someone else. Appointments mean nothing to them - they are so money hungry they take whomever walks in regardless of other priorities. This time I walked out and told the receptionist they have lost a customer. In fact, they lost 3 because my co-workers have had similar problems and were unhappy with this place. Nails looked good but the aggravation isn't worth it. My time is valuable, too. Read Less

I've been to ProNails twice and will NOT be going back. The first time it took 45 minutes past my appointment time to even be brought back. The lady set me up in the foil to remove my old gel polish, walked away, and started and completed doing a pedicure on someone else before returning. I was there a total of 2 hours just to get a gel manicure done! Almost the exact same thing happen the second time I went. I was there about 2 hours! I even politely let them know when I walked in the door that this was their second and possibly last chance. My nails did look great after which is why I gave 2 stars instead of 1. They used to be a great place to get your nails and feet done. However, since they moved to the new location. The service is slow and it felt like nobody wanted to work. They did do a lot of walking back and forth around the place, but I waited an hour on a Monday evening for a manicure and pedicure. The prices have increased for the same things they were doing at the old location. If you don't mind waiting. I must say the quality is great. I always get a beautiful manicure & pedicure. Wonderful nail salon. I tried their new location, and it has a really lovely atmosphere. This was actually my first ever manicure experience, and I had a full set  with gel polish done by Mei, and I was very pleased with the results. More like amateur nails. I'm not gonna write some crazy long review, but just know that what has already been said in that other crazy long bad review is all true. I read the bad review and chose to ignore it, thinking it was a lone crazy person. Turns out they were just being real. On the upside, everyone was very friendly. I have been to pro nails a few times and was always satisfied, but today I observed things that will cause me to never go back. One of the male technicians was sitting in the last seat picking his nose and wiping his nose on his shirt. Then when he got a customer got up and took care of her without ever washing his hands. Then I observed a female worker rinse the tools and put them in an open sterilized pack and put it in the done sterilized machine without actually sterilizing then and a minute later another worker went and got them to use on a customer. Is this even for real?!?! How are people giving this place 5 stars?!?! I called this morning to see if they took walk in appointments. When my friend and I got there, we were next on the list and told there would only be a brief wait. I waited for over an hour for someone to turn the water on for my pedicure. Then, I sat for another thirty minutes with my feet in water getting all wrinkled. My tech finally arrived and did a great job - but failed to use toe separators. My polish smudged and then I had a quick "touch up" that looks like something my two year old applied while I was sleeping. It looks like sh*t. $52 after tip should result in HAPPY customers and freaking perfection. Super p*ssed off. Don't recommend this for anyone. Ended up having to skip my manicure bc of this whole disaster so we can make it to dinner with friends. Never coming back. Read Less

THIS PLACE SUCKS! I got a full set on 5/26/2015 and my nails were already coming off & needed a fill by June 1st, just a week later. I go to Tim ti fix them & he super glues them instead of filling them . Tim schedules me an appointment at 9 on June 3rd, with Ruby, I get there at 9 and he wasn't even ready, so I left. I also got a "pedicure", my polish chipped the same day. That's the 2nd time I got a pedicure from this place and my polish chipped the same day. That should've been my sign then to stay away from this place, but no worries, I'll NEVER go to this establishment again, THIS PLACE SUCKS and they use watered down polish that don't last a full day. When I visited to Ocala, I was looking for a nail salon in this area, and I found Pro Nails.I don't know why no one have written a review about this place yet. It's nice! Very casual atmosphere, staffs are all very friendly and pleasant, and Ivy did a great work on my manicure/pedicure. I am definitely coming back to this place. Read Less
