Not many neighborhoods are as lucky as I am to have a fabulous nail salon. They've always been super welcoming and willing to work me in for an appointment! My sisters came down for a visit and I took them here because it was conveniently close to my house. My fiance (male) attended and I made him get a pedicure with me. Throughout the visit, the employees working on our feet were very rude to us. One of them joked about my fiance's weight by holding out their hands and giggling in the back. Another worker got an attitude with my sister after messing up her polish on her feet. The lady working on my feet pointed at a scar of my leg and discussed it with the other employee next to her. I took my mother there for Mother's Day to get a manicure & pedicure her. The pedicure was done awesome. Another man took over once the owner left & he cut my mother's fingers in a couple of times. When she said that she had enough he threatened her that she could not return again if she did not want to finish. The worst attitude I have ever seen coming from a service industry. I took my mother here to get a manicure & pedicure for Mother's Day. Her pedicure was done awesome by the owner. After the owner let another man took over to do her manicure & he cut her a couple of times on her nails. She wanted to stop the service & he threatened that if she stopped she would never be able to return. Needless to say she only got a pedicure. WORST EXPERIENCE EVER!!! The guy who sits right by the counter messed up my nails so bad people thought I had done my own nails. The GEL polish was all over the cuticle of my nails as if done by an amateur. When I brought it to his attention he smiled and told me it was because I was moving my hand back and forth the entire time he was polishing my nails... SERIOUSLY?!?! He messed up then wanted to blame me for it. He half ass attempted to fix what he had done but I had somewhere to be in a hurry so I left. When I returned to get my nails fixed 2 days later due to the distance from which I live from the salon, he acted as if he'd never seen me before. Thank God my amazing boyfriend was there to set him straight and got him to fall in line. I finally sat down with one of the female techs who proceeded to tell me that my gel nails were uneven because apparently I bang my nails doing "hard work" which caused them to look that way... then when i told her that what she was saying made no sense, especially since I work at a bank and had been off all weekend she flashed me off with her hand. It took everything in me not to physically retaliate after being disrespected like that. Lucky for her I'm a classy lady and didn't resort to such actions, however, I firmly put her in her place as respectfully as anyone could without cursing nor yelling. It was then that her demeanor changed and she became polite. She even told me "next time don't tell him that he wrong. Just come to me and I fix for you no problem..." NEXT TIME???!!! I told her there won't be a next time and if he's wrong, he's wrong. Especially after blaming me for what he did. I wouldn't recommend this salon to anyone. WORST EXPERIENCE EVER!!!!!! To bad you cant select 0 stars. First off the staff was VERY rude. Noticed how two different techs were doing my nails and did not like that at all. Advertising 18 dollars full set and charged me 20. I wanted half polish and was told 5 dollars more ?!!? Ummm how!!?? SMH ended paying 23 dollars for a set of nails that looked awful. My family has patronized Lovely Nails since they first opened but, will no longer do so due to their sheer lack of professionalism and inability to deliver great customer service. I waited for nearly two hours to have my nails done only to have the manicurist take another customer who walked through the door complaining of their shoddy workmanship. Well to suffice to say it was truly a blessing in disguise because I ended up going to Leon Nails. The staff at Leon's is EVERYTHING that LOVELY NAILS IS NOT. They are very professional & provide excellent customer service. The atmosphere is relaxing and not filled with loud banter unlike Lovely Nails. Avoid wasting your money & time with Lovely Nails by driving a few blocks to LEON NAILS THE BEST IN THE SHORES. Read Less

Went to get a pedicure after a long day on my feet at work... The lady I had was very rude, mumbling things under her breath and actually got mad when I changed my mind about the color polish I wanted... Slamming thins downer . ( this was even before she started polishing my toes.. I might understand if she had already started)... My second time here a year later, and nothing has changed. The pedicure was good. Four stars because it's hard to communicate and they are trying to talk you into other services. I was a walk in and the staff asked right away to help me. There were 4 people getting pedicures and there are 7-8 chairs and 3 employees. The wait was 5 minutes. I asked for the pedicure and I was instructed to choose a nail color. The prices and services are posted on the wall by the register. WARNING: be very specific and FIRM of what you want and tell them that you are on a time schedule. Otherwise, they will try to talk you into other stuff and you will end up with a $100+ bill and "hours" later... If you are not familiar with salon services this is not the place to learn due to Asian employees and difficulty understanding their accents. Read Less

Have been going here for 2 years now and had minor complaints. I go to have them take out an ingrown toe nail and I get instant relief when they do. My minor complaints are not being able to understand them clearly, also the line for walk ins on occasion. Other than that I've been pleased with their work. Kind of your typical nail salon. Its not as esthetically pleasing as other nail salons that I've been too. I've never had a "full set" put on here as I have natural nails but I wasn't impressed with my manicure. The gentleman who did my manicure was extremely chatty and I couldn't really enjoy my service. Pricing was very fair, but my polish only lasted 2 days so it wasn't worth it. Read Less
