I was greeted nicely as soon as I walked in even though all of the techs were busy with clients. I was in the chair within 10 minutes. Sam did a beautiful job on my nails. Had some trouble deciding what to rate my experience here. My nails ended up very nice and pretty but it wasn't what I was expecting. I'll preface this by saying I've never had any sort of fake nails like acrylic or dip/gel extensions so I was hoping what I researched would match with what I would get here. I called ahead of time to ask if I could get dip powder extensions to make my nails longer while getting color, and it seemed like the guy knew what I was talking about and so I made an appointment. When I got there I had a short wait and I was set with a gentleman who didn't speak much english so there was a bit of a language barrier. I showed him a picture and tried to explain that I wanted dip powder to make my nails the same length and color as the picture. He asked if I wanted tips and I said I just want to have them longer using dip powder. So he said okay and brought out a box of acrylic tips so I told him I didn't want acrylics. He said its not acrylics and at that point I figured we weren't really understanding each other so I just went with it knowing it wouldn't be what I had in mind, but it would work out. Again, maybe because of the language barrier and my lack of experience with fake nails, I felt confused the whole time. Like why he didn't file my real nail after cutting, what type of glue was being used, how to remove it later on, and whether the shape of the fake nail would be fixed later. When he asked what length I said pretty short, I just wanted a small extension and showed the picture again but he kept barely cutting it down. And when he initially filed them they were not rounded symmetrically which I kept saying but he brushed it off a little. Then the color I picked out ended up being very very sheer so he brought someone over to translate and ask if that would be okay and I asked if maybe we could put a darker color on top so you cant see the contrast of my nail vs. the fake nail. The guy brought over one option but I said I didn't like shimmer or glitter and he kept bringing over glittery options so finally he gave me the little display to pick myself. I picked one out and from there things got better. The color turned out nice, he went into detail on my nail making sure they were symmetrical, and made sure that the dip powder was not messed up anywhere and polished them really nicely.They are still pretty thick since they used acrylic tips and overall they are very pretty, but again, not really what I had in mind going in. I am just not used to, or am a fan of really thick fake nails which I ended up with so next time maybe I'll try somewhere else. I am thankful they turned out so nice looking though. Read Less

I ABSOLUTELY LOVE COMING HERE! this is my happy place, I love Sam, I love everything about this nail salon, i've been coming here since i moved back to florida from Maryland so June 2016, i have never gone to any other nail salon again because of how good of a job they do! some people complain saying they charge a lot! but you get what you pay for. i have NEVER walked out of luxury nails hating my full set or pedicure... this is the best nail salon ever i've put some pictures of some full sets i've gotten but I have A LOT more! they're the best! I have been searching locally for a talented nail artist for almost a year now. I have been to 3 different places and each one just fine. I decided to go see Sam today after searching ombre nail pictures. WOW! Two thumbs up! I am so happy with my results and can't stop looking at my new full set of acrylic ombre nails! I gave this place THREE chances to try and brush the service I received off as maybe she was having a bad day, maybe they're just not that friendly ? But it's just not a nice place to get your nails done. The work was subpar at most, the customer service was mediocre; but the most important thing that I picked up on, was that they did not try at all to make it a welcoming experience for someone who was trying to get a feel for the salon. (This is a recent trip {11-17-2017} I came in with two other friends looking to get full sets for themselves, and a fill for myself. When we walked in ,one nail tech said there would be a bit of a wait because they had appointments that day as well. So of course I thought, okay it's probably going to be a while but it's okay because I have time. So we said that it was no problem, the woman walked away and came back a few minutes later and sent me to go sit with a nail tech. I was so excited because I thought okay they're gonna take care of us this is gonna be fun. She RUSHED through my nail job, she filed my nails harshly, ruined my cuticles, applied way too much acrylic and overall put in no effort. I really tried to keep it calm and relax because it was our day off, but when I get up she said 45$. I felt so enraged! 45 for a fill????I had to walk up to a man that works there and get upset with him to get him to understand that it was not right. I needed my nails done for a special occasion. Nothing too fancy, just a simple new set with gel nail polish. I chose to go here because of the reviews and location. When I walked in I was greeted and seated immediately. Good sign. We were off to a good start. The young lady doing my nails was pleasant and easy to understand. I wanted a different shape than what I usually would get. I'm used to getting a square-round shape and this time I wanted something more pointy and witchy like. She nailed it. I got exactly what I wanted and it didn't take her long. I chose a black, bluish color that felt appropriate for the holiday season. They have loads of colors to choose from and some new styles and shapes I didn't even know existed. I also got a toe nail polish change (which cost me $10), and the color we chose for that came really close to what I chose for my nails. I was happy about that. I sat under the dryer for less than ten minutes and my toes were fully dried. They have a ton of other products they sell. The longer I stayed the more those products got pushed onto me. "You should try this, you would like that. This is not expensive and your face will feel beautiful." And another thing I heard was, "your teeth will be so white and clean." LoL. They surely have a side hustle going on. I simply said no thank you, I just came in here to have my nails done. It got to be annoying and tasteless to be honest with you. I didn't purchase anything other than my nail service which I was pretty pleased with. So far I've been twice, once to get my nails on, the second to have them removed and I got a manicure. I would have gotten a gel refill but it cost nearly as much as a new set which made absolutely no sense to me. And they even agreed that it made no sense, but not enough to lower the price for me. Go figure. I might eventually try their pedicure service because I did notice that they use a plastic bag-like thing to wrap the pedicure bowls for each pedicure. It's definitely a way to keep your feet and toe nails protected from germs. Read Less

Worst manicure and pedicure I've ever received. The lady took in no consideration for my request on nail shape, length, and when I pointed out a concern she brushed it off. She painted my nail then used a nail file to shave down an imperfection and all the pieces of the nail file would be sitting on top of my polish. I have lived in Fort Lauderdale for years and have never been able to find a good nail salon, I was referred to Luxury nails by a friend and I will never go to another nail salon again! Sam and his staff are AMAZING! The nails they do are a Pinterest girls dream come true along with the variety choice of pedicures, this is a one stop shop for all girls, don't waste your time anywher else! I just moved to this area temporarily and I needed a mani/ pedi ASAP! I searched for places near my home and came across Luxury Nails. I read most of the reviews and decided to make an appointment after I got off of work.I was greeted warmly by the gentleman that sits in the front. I was earlier than my appt time, but they accommodated me anyways. My nail technician was Hanna. She was very polite and quiet. I actually don't mind the quietness bc times like these are the only time I have to myself and can unwind (I have a 1 year old at home)! Hanna handed me the pedicure "menu" and automatically asked me if I wanted the deluxe pedicure. I normally just get a standard pedi, but since I was only getting a regular mani, I went for the deluxe (plus I was currently in the mind frame of "treat yo'self!). The salon itself was okay. The way customers described the salon, they made it seem like it was a luxurious spa. It's not. But it's a bit updated and kept clean, so that's good enough for me!Onto the manicure-- I just fell off the wagon and started biting my nails again (I know, gross, please don't judge. Lots of stressors in progress). I must give Hanna props bc she really worked with my nails the best she could. I think my mani came out very nice, especially since Hanna was limited in the nail space. The regular mani and deluxe pedi cost me $46. A little steep, but this is why I stick to standard pedis. I needed to get my nails done immediately and was unable to go to my usual nail salon. Therefore I used my trusted Yelp community to find a nearby salon with reliable pictures and reviews. I stumbled across Luxury Nails and called to make an appointment during my lunch break from  work. They were very helpful over the phone, and once I arrived I was greeted immediately. The salon was easy to find and there was a lot of parking in the plaza. A man who I assume to be the owner directed me toward Amy who did a repolish on my toes as well as a gel repolish on my hands. She did a superb job in 45 minutes! She was so pleasant and careful with the job she was doing, I would totally trust her with my nails again. The salon is very clean with modern decor. I was very impressed with the pedicure chairs that recline as well as massage you. I will definitely be back to get a pedicure soon as I watched a client receiving a heavenly pedicure in envy. They have a wide selection of nail polish brands and colors, Next Gen powders, and a wide array of colors for their gel polishes also. Their prices are hard to beat, very affordable compared to what I normally pay for high quality. While I was there several people walked in and were greeted and seen immediately - awesome customer service! Overall a five star experience, I highly recommend, and I will be back very soon!
