I've been here twice. Once for a mani, once for a pedi. I would definitely not recommend this place. My first visit was just okay and my second was awful. My mani was decent. I had a basic nail done, no crazy design or anything. My pedi sucked. Absolutely awful. The person who did my pedi did a half-a** job. She scrubbed my legs too hard to the point that when she applied lotion, the pores were screaming in pain. The stones were incredibly hot. I even told the girl I was hurting and she didn't seem too concerned. She painted my nails horribly. I'm taking a closer look the day after and am just shocked that I wasted $23 on a terrible pedi. I rarely take time to write review, but Boutique Nails is worth it ! I have always left satisfied. I also suggest making an appointment before walking in. I've started getting the dip powder done and it's awesome. Everyone that as done my nails has been very nice and very good at what they do. I was extremely pleased with everything at Boutique Nails in New Port Richey. It was a great experience ! Despite full of clients, they still had time to get me. They gave me a relaxing pedicure. This used to be the only place I would go to get my nails done, I moved out of town, so it had been a while since I had been here. I was very disappointed. I paid 50 dollars to get a pedicure and a shellac gel manicure, the pedicure was fine and I had no problems. The manicure looked great as well, but the very next day my nails were already starting to chip!! Pretty sure shellac should last at least a week. After hearing all over town to go to this place, I don't know what anyone is thinking. This is by far the WORST nail salon in the New Port Richey area. I can deal with bad customer service, but add on the fact that they have no idea what they're doing and probably aren't lisenced by the state, and you get this place.I used to live in NPR but recently relocated to NY. I visit a few times a year and decided to try this place for a regular mani. I don't want to do gel, shellac, fake nails etc because I have a great place back home in NY that I go to every week. Just wanted a cheap vacation mani. Apparently that is unacceptable because they pressured me for at least 10 minutes to get a gel mani and totally embarrassed me in front of everyone when I had to keep saying no... the owners are RUDE. It took everything in me not to walk out. My manicure was amateur. No massage. The color i selected wasn't what i thought it was; so they begrudgingly walked me back over to the wall, told me to hurry up, there were customers waiting. What?!?! Am I not a customer too?Also, be prepared to wait at least 15-20 minutes when you walk in. They knew I wasn't a regular and put at least 2 people before me. That shit would never fly in NYC. My daughter took me to Boutique Nails as a special treat several weeks ago.  We asked to be seated together and they accommodated us.  They did a nice job with the seaweed based nails.  When we went to makes an appt. for the following two weeks, the owner told us it was too hard to seat us together as that upset the technicians.  He said they didn't like anyone sitting at their stations.  We should have left at that point, but didn't.  The next visit didn't go badly.  However yesterday I, my daughter and granddaughter went together.  This time the owner said we were late (we weren't) so the ladies who previously did our nails were busy with other customers.  My granddaughter was sent to a male technician.  I could hear her asking for an example of the colors available.  (They have fake nails on a length of plastic which are painted with all the various colors and finishes so the customers can choose) I could hear her ask him repeatedly for this gadget so she could choose a color. Not long after my granddaughter walked to the rear of the store where the sink is located.  I couldn't believe her nails were done when mine were still in process and we had the same service.  Soon after I joined her on the sofa and  she related her experience with this person.  He was rude in what he did say to her which was minimal as he spent an inordinate amount of time on the phone.  Her nails did not look nice,  he hadn't done anything to repair her cuticles.   When the owner was approached he was offhand and not inclined to assist.  He grudgingly gave my daughter a $10 gift certificate for his salon when he should have refunded the entire charge in cash.  This is not a nice place to go if you wish to be treated kindly.After reading their online price list, it appears they have been overcharging us by $5 each time we've had our nails done. Wow! I went with my daughter the very first time I visited this place, she was so happy with them. I already had gel on my nail & only needed a fill. The guy who did my fill argued with me that my nails acrylic. Even after I stated that they were not 4 times he still said I was wrong.  moving on to the 2nd trip. I got someone different this time she argued with me too that my nails were acrylic! Frustrated with both visits I wasn't sure if I would be back. This place was pretty great and Rachel is amazing at what she does but after the constant price changing and making appointments only to have to wait 30 minutes is crazy. I made an appt waited 30 minutes only for the girl I waited 30 minutes for to be taken away for her other appt and left with another guy that did not do the design I wanted and then just left. They never completed my mani either. No lotion or anything. Not good customer service and feel like the owner takes advantage of changing what ever he wants! Will not be returning to this place. They should have 1 star for their crappy, cheap acrylics & customer service. I usually pay $20 for a fullset but when I asked how much theirs was they said $25 because their employees are very detailed and the service you receive is well worth it and they've had the same prices for 10 years even though it's a few more bucks. My acrylics peeled off a day later and went back and they said they can't guarantee anything & that my nails are too "oily" that's why they r coming off. They weren't willing to discount anything for my next visit. I'll never come here again!!! And when they fixed 2 of nails they told me they were doing me the favor of not charging me to fix it because they just spent 30 minutes on me. Wow what a disappointment! After months of looking at the amazing pictures they post on Facebook I finally took the 45 minute drive to trinity to try this place. I wish I hadn't, I could have received the same (if not better) from any random place in the mall. First impressions are everything to me and as soon as I walked in I noticed the waiting area for customers had tattered and torn chairs. I had time to notice this because 2 of the employees were too busy giving each other a pedicure to even greet me. After requesting a shellac manicure I was taken to my seat and given an impressive display of gel polish colors. Only the color I asked for was deceiving because they had polished the display at least 5-6 times and the color came out MUCH LIGHTER on my hands. To try to appease me the nail tech put a darker shade over top which instead just made my nails look black. The color also seeped on to my cuticle and surrounding skin. No hand massage at the end either, instead she rubbed cuticle oil all over my fingers for that refreshing oily feeling! The place looked dingy, there was crusty nail dust and dried acrylic on all of the glass top desks, there was even nail dust on the bowl she gave me to soak my fingers in, and the UV dryer I had to stick my hand in was absolutely repulsive. I loved the decor! As soon as I walked in I was cordially greeted by staff. I didn't feel rushed to decide what I wanted. They listened and granted whatever special instructions we had like getting our manicure done first as opposed to the pedicure then manicure. Conversation was great! Prices were decent! If I could give them 0 stars I would. Boutique nails in trinity off of trinity blvd had the absolute worst customer service I have ever experienced. Do not bother to call and make an appt there because if you ask them what time would be good for them, still expect to wait about 30-45 minutes to actually get seated and taken care of. The only good thing they have going for them is the wide color selection, but many salons in the area have that too. All I can say, is I will never go back. PLEASE READ THIS FULL REVIEW!!!! This place is AWFUL!! I went there about a week ago and spent $40 on a gel manicure and 3 of my nails chipped 3-4 days later. So I went back in to have them fixed and I can't believe how rude they were!! They fixed my 3 nails all right with THE WRONG COLOR!!! I told both the man and woman that were arguing with me that it's not the right color and the man got up and walked away and had the woman continue to paint THE WRONG COLOR on my nails. Then to top it all off before my polish was even done in the light she told me to leave!! Like it was my fault!! NEVER GO TO THIS PLACE!!! If I could give zero stars I would! First time I came my nails were great. Second time they were rough on the edges and the design was not what I asked for. I asked for them to fix them my nails are still rough and the design is hardly close to what it should be. My friend who came along had an even worse outcome! He charged her 32 for a fill with design. It looked like a 5 year old did them, when asked to fix them he replied with "well it's hand drawn, it won't be perfect. But we can fix them" so he gave her back to the same girl and they just did a sold color and instead of giving her the money back for the "design" he charged her the first time he said "sorry but she used her time" well anyways we are very upset.
