I made an appointment to come here before my wedding for two people (my mom and myself). We ended up walking out before we had a manicure or pedicure, so this review isn't based on their services. Unfortunately, the small salon smelled so overwhelmingly like fried oily food, that I was very turned off. The woman at the front didn't seem to know we had reservations, and abrasively told us to "pick a color!" without being greeted. It seemed as if there were only a few people working and already occupied with other customers, which made me wonder if we'd have to wait though we were right on time for our appointment. Love the Kiwi Spa! Just had an excellent deluxe pedicure and a wonderful leg and foot massage. Kiwi is wonderful! One of the best things about the spa is that they don't do artificial nails so there's no chemical smell. So glad I found Kiwi's 3 years ago! Read Less

I chose Kiwi Spa for two reasons: the first was simple - the location. I live near the Davis/Airport-Pulling exchange and Kiwi was not only close, but when I called to see about an appointment, they told me EXACTLY where they were. The second, and FAR more important reason, was due to their Google Local rating. It was highly-rated out of a solid number of reviews; and the reviews were right! I was lucky enough to get a last minute appointment WITH Kiwi herself. She did a wonderful job on a simple men's manicure and buff and even accommodated a special request for a stylized gel on the fingernails I chose :-) Further, I enjoyed great conversations with her and her staff. Hands down the best pedicure I've ever gotten and I've been getting them my entire life. I've tried other places and no one does better than Kiwi Spa. The massage is outstanding, everyone is friendly and the place is always clean. You're always offered a beverage and the prices are definitely very reasonable. I just returned from yet another relaxing and professional shellac manicure and pedicure at Kiwi's. I've been coming here for more than 1 1/2 years, and they do not disappoint when it comes to fantastic service and friendliness. Katie is great! She always helps me to pick out a great color, she is very thorough, and provides a long lasting and beautiful manicure.  They have a wide array of OPI gel and regular colors, and update them with the change of the seasons. My friends and I made a reservation, but when we arrived they told us there "wasn't enough time" to do a shellac manicure and regular pedicure. They also tried to pretend that I hadn't told them I also wanted a pedicure. Then the nail tech said she would do me a favor and stay late to complete my services. It wasn't worth it at that point, so I opted to simply sit with my friends as they did their pedicures. We were very confused since there were at least three people sitting around chatting after they told us there wasn't enough time...don't they know they could have two people work on one person?!THEN the manicurist cut my friend's cuticle so badly it wouldn't stop bleeding and I had to put a band-aid on it (that I was carrying in my purse since they didn't have any to offer).We all left without manicures and won't be coming back. I hate to put a bad review online after seeing all the good ones...however despite them being nice and cordial and good work the place is not done with sterile conditions and should never occur. I had a pedicure and my girl friend a manicure . With both of us a USED/ non new emery board was used. Scrubbing pads for my feet were not new... I had to ask the associate to get me a new one. I never saw a filter replaced in the tubs...I am reporting them to the state department of health. Buyer beware...i am uncertain on various other issues. Read Less

I came here because it was the only place where "walk-ins welcome" actually applied... ended up getting a great manicure today!! Workers were nice but one was a little "preoccupied".... had to keep reminding her to go easy with one foot (it had been broken before so it doesn't do exactly what my other foot can do) .... was inexpensive so that was a plus. Needed my nails done. Just googled nail salons near me. KIWI came up, and being just a mile away it was kinda a no brainer. I arrived early, and they took me right away. Maria did my mani/pedi deluxe. It was the best mani/pedi ever! The way Maria massaged my legs. Pure heaven. My manicure was impeccable. This place was fabulous and I would definitely come back!!!! I had an appointment for a deluxe pedicure yesterday at 5:30 with kiwi. Got there about 5-10 minutes early, after picking out a color I got seated almost immediately. Everybody is super nice, the salon is beautiful, why some people on here complained about the dog I have no clue because she sits on her little throne and is super quiet. I had THE BEST pedicure EVER! Kiwi really took her time and treated me like a person instead of a number. Definitely will be back and recommend to anybody. Read Less

I came here for a mani/pedi while I was in Naples because I ran out of time to do it before my trip. It was close to where I was staying and I could easily get an appointment. The deluxe pedicure was just ok compared to a regular one, the only real difference was a hot towel over a mask on my legs. There was no TV or talking really going on, just music which is ok but it does get boring after a while. I was not super wowed by this place hence my 3 stars, it seemed just like a typical nail studio. I would go back here again if the same situation arose. Read Less

My aunt told me there was a new place she had been going for pedicures that was just the best, so I had to take her up on that. OH MY GOODNESS SHE WAS RIGHT. I made three appointments for deluxe pedicures for my mom, aunt and myself. We had no problem getting the time we wanted. When we arrived we were greeted by Alice at the reception and Lily, Kiwis little dog, she was precious! We picked out colors and sat down in the large massage chairs. I have never had such a thorough pedicure or long massage on my legs ever. Cuticle work, cheese grater, buff, filed, and (I counted) over half hour foot and leg massage, then hot towel and polish. Opt for the deluxe pedicure, It was fantastic. My feet are in close toed shoes in London most of the year so needed a pedi so so badly. For $38 the appointment lasted just over an hour and was worth every cent.The selection of polish was new and very large, which is rarely the case. The spa was very clean, did not smell like a typical nail salon (chemically) either. The magazines were current and they asked if we wanted drinks which was a plus. I wish I lived locally because I would be in here every other week for my nails and toes. The girls are fabulous, friendly and do a hell of a job. 5 star. Read Less

Today was my first time at this fabulous spa! I had a spa pedicure and a facial by Kiwi, both were unbelievably wonderful. I have had facials in 7 states and this by far was the best ever. Kiwi massaged my arms, hands, legs, feet, shoulders and neck and this was all part of the facial, my face has never felt so great. This was the most relaxing facial I have ever had. The pedicure was also awesome. She took her time and really made me feel special. If you want the ultimate experience for a facial and pedicure, this is definitely the place to go.
