This nail studio is by far one of the prettiest in the area. It exudes elegance and the atmosphere is relaxing and nice. When you enter the studio you are welcomed by the hair salon in front, a small clothing boutique to your left and then a nail bar to your right. It's every girls dream! They offer wine and other beverages, which is such a nice touch! The staff are all super friendly and the boss is sincerely sweet and attentive! When my nail lady of 3+ years went on maternity leave it was time to find a new place. I am as picky about my nails as they come and I am happy to say I had a pleasant experience with Paola. I went in for gel mani and gel pedi. The entire process (including removing the gel polish I had on) took about 2 hours but she spent every second of the 2 hours making sure every nail was filed to perfection and that the application was impeccable. I also appreciated that they are open late so making an appointment for a weekday after work is a breeze. 10/10 would recommend with Paola. Read Less

I went to Sopanna only because my regular nail tech was unavailable, and this was close to my home. I have to say that this nail studio is a great find! Solina, who is also the owner, did my gel mani (and made suggestions for super pretty NYE nails) and, Paola did my pedi. I’m very picky with my nails, and both women did an amazing job. My tips and toes are clean, very nicely shaped, and the polish jobs are perfect. One thing I really like is that the gel polish isn’t thick on top of my nails, something I don’t care for. I already booked my next appointment! I highly recommend Sopanna. By the way, it’s right next to the CVS off Kendall Dr. and 97th Ave. A little hidden gem! I called Solana nail salon looking for a mani-pedi on one of the busiest days of the year. Not only were they able to accommodate me, I heard the owner trying to help others also looking for a little Christmas glam. I had a party of 4 reserved for 7:30pm 5 days before Christmas. When I made the appointment I asked if their closing time (8pm) would be a problem. I was assured it wouldn't be.  3 of us were receiving gel mani and regular pedi. The fourth, my grandmother, was receiving a reg mani/pedi. I was called at 6:30pm to see if I could come in at 7pm. No issue. We were ready and arrived at 7pm. When we arrived 2 nail techs were available to start and did. My mother and I had to choose different colors because the supply on our color selection was low. When it came time for my 82 year old grandmother to receive her service the tech became angry and started an argument with her manager, stating she could not stay, had 2 kids and it wasn't fair. All of this unfolds in front of us. The tech is then told to stay and do the service. While doing the service, they speak amongst each other about the unfairness of it all and how upset they are about staying late every night. It was uncomfortable and not the experience we were expecting. 3 of us DID NOT receive hot towel during our pedicure (on menu) and 2 of us DID NOT get lotion or massage on pedicure (on menu). We still paid full price for these services. The prices are comparable to most nail salons in the area. Parking is easy. The bathroom was broken and customers (and staff) had to use the bathroom at the CVS next door. They also will not be accepting tips on CC after December. Cash tips required in 2018. Read Less

Worst nails ever! I got my appointment to do a full set and the lady recommended me the deeping powder using a tip to create a length. I was not too convinced but I did it. The process was a little bit messy (which could be part of it) but the result was terrible. I had to ask the lady apply more product because I had bumps on all my nails. After applying more product the nails were still horrible. At the end she did not buff the nails so they looked like if you apply a top coat on a file surface. She applied more top coat but something went wrong with it and had stains all over the nails. She ended up applying gel on top of them and letting the stains in all the nails. In the pictures you cannot appreciate the stains but there were white spots on ALL the nails. A really BAD experience. Read Less

I'm so happy I found this hidden gem! It's local and the staff is friendly and attentive. I really like that the manager/owner is always around, making sure all the customers are satistfied. My go-to lady is Silvia, she's wonderful! The nail salons I've been to have all had a displeasing atmosphere the first time you walk in, but not this one. The owner made sure I was taken care of right away and was very welcoming. She even offered mw a refreshment! The girls working there were kind and not rude at all. The atmosphere is relaxing and inviting. Also, the salon's asthetics are easy on the eyes: no intense colors or annoying music. I love getting my nails done. Sopanna staff is very pleasant, especially Silvia, she does a great job. The reason I gave it three stars is due to the lack of cleanliness. Real fancy place. They serve you any beverage you’d like and the owner was very attentive to my mom and I. We spent our afternoon here and will definitely be back. I walked right in for a mani/pedi in the middle of the day, and was taken in right away. Olga did my pedi, and she was SO thorough and meticulous, which my feet certainly needed (and appreciated)! I had a gel mani done by Paola, and she was also great. The salon seems to be undergoing some renovations, which tells me there are improvements coming. The pedi chairs were not very comfortable (they use a chair and basin, not the typical pedicure chairs), so I felt like I was slouching/sliding down sometimes. Either way, Olga's perfect pedi more than made up for it. They have a ton of enhancement options - scented scrubs, hot towels, parafin, stones, etc. I had a deluxe pedi with extra massage, but I'll be trying the jelly pedi next.  I have already scheduled my next appointment! I have been going to this nail salon for over a year. I walked into the salon to get my nails done and met one of the most wonderful hair stylists I have ever met. Her name is Dignora. She is sweet and funny and has completely transformed my hair. I have not needed a relaxer in over a year and she is attentive to the needs of her clients and works well on different hair types which is a plus. I love the transformation in the salon as it recently changed ownership. Solinna, the new owner, has worked hard to make the salon attractive, inviting and, comfortable. Went with my two granddaughters both less than 10 years old no cuticle cutting just nail polished and I did get a full mani/pedi was told a price by employees and after work was done and owner was their price went up. I did like the work but very unprofessional when it came to prices nobody knew and later I was told prices were going down next week. Good work but no thank you Read Less

This place got a new owner about a month ago. I met the owner a while back and that's how I found out about this place. She totally redid the whole menu. I got the Sopanna Deluxe Pedi with a guy friend and we were both smiling and laughing at how relaxing and awesome it was. They used scrubs and masks that we've never tried before and the glass of wine that came with it was a PLUS. We're used to really high end places in brickell/downtown area and this place is definitely high caliber in quality. I'm bringing more friends with me next time I go, this place is the jam. The pedicures are the way to go. I decided to come in with a guy friend because it just so happens we both needed a pedi at the time. We ended up going for the Sopanna Deluxe Pedi and even though it wasn't the top shelf service on the menu, it felt like it was compared to other places I've been to. It was so relaxingggg!
