I was on the hunt for a nail place close by since I had a wedding to attend that day so I came in super last minute for a gel manicure. They were accommodating and Jenny did my nails..she did such a good job! She was super gentle and made simple conversation which was nice since I was there to relax. I will be going back for sure! Rose did my nails she did an amazing job, I give her five stars. Liz did my eyebrows and SHE left them so uneven, she practically massacred them. When she was done she didn't even hand me a mirror so I could look at the work she had done. I would not recommend her to anyone sorry to say. I give her zero stars. My nail tech Sandra was phenomenal! She was so polite, great positive energy. Her work is detailed and she takes her time, always making sure her client (me) is feeling good and comfortable. The salon atmosphere is bright, welcoming and clean. I haven't had the chance to try all the other services (facials, waxing or massage) but I'm sure it's as pleasant as my gel manicure and deluxe pedicure. They give you three choices of scrubs ( coconut, tea or caramel) and three choices of glaze ( honey, milk and a third option I cant remember). Wonderful experience! Would definitely return. Mr. Garcia knows how to run an amazing beauty lounge. I loved my experience and the atmosphere. Everything from the decor to management was great. I was assisted by PATRICIA, her effectiveness in doing a great pedicure but being fast at the same time was what got me to write this review. She cleaned my feet very well and didn't take an excessive amount of time. During my pedi I saw many of the excellent interactions between management and clients, they make people feel welcome. I went to senses last week out of dire need to get a manicure and pedicure in a hurry before a weekend getaway. I chose to come here based on the mere fact that it opened earlier than any other nail salons in my area. I was so happy here that I think I've found my "nail place" the salon is so modern looking, pretty, trendy and most important clean!! Since I was pressed for time I asked how long it would take and it took the exact amount of time I was told! I was highly impressed because that never seems to fall in my favor. There was also a man there who seemed to be the owner or manager who was also attentive asking me if I wanted something to drink like coffee tea and I think he even offered mimosas? I had been going to my wax lady for years and when she moved out of state, I didn't know who I could trust to do a good job. I called so many places and this was the only one that returned my call. TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE!! I was just there and did not have an appointment and I told the receptionist and she said "thats not a problem" there were only 2 customers and three nail techs which two of them were taking care of the two clients and one of them was sitting doing her own nails. So the receptionist asked the one that was "available" and she said to her can she come back at 1:20 (it was 12:45 pm at that moment) so she looked at me and said can you come back at 1:20...? ???? what???? WHAT???? I couldn't believe she actually had the audacity to ask something like that!!. Hello!!! Im the client!! shouldn't the "available" nail tech lady take care of the client first instead of doing her own nails? Is this for real?? Im not sure if this place wants to make money or they rather have their employees so happy that they prefer to let them pamper themselves instead of bringing money to their business!! So I said no I can't wait!! ( clearly she was not doing anything and she could do my pedicure), so this girl looks at me and says no you have to wait!! WOW!!! Love this place !!! Let me start by saying I'm that "picky client". I've had the same nail lady for years. But for a week she wouldn't answer my texts so I had to cheat on her. I found Senses on yelp and they're amazing! The customer service, the care, everything was great. They have a wall full of colors to choose from. Wine, water, coffee. Loved this nail salon lounge! Beautiful and impeccably clean. The attention from the manager was great! Sandra did my mani and pedi and I absolutely love how she works. It was also such a pleasure to sit with Sandra and chat for the duration of my mani and pedi. I loved that they offered me wine while I was there. Such a nice place, super convenient location, however, I'm writing this review because my gel manicure started peeling of within 6 days of getting them done. I should've taken other reviews into consideration, rather than the amount of stars. The customer service from my nail tech was great, very clean facility as well, but the work on my nails was beyond disappointing. She filed them down way too much, said she can do a design and failed, my cuticle looks horrible after 6 days, also the most disappointing was the fact they didn't last (mind you, it was opi she used). If I wanted to, I can easily peel off the entire polish, but don't want my nails to weaken. It was also my first time and they didn't offer me any of their free services for first timers. Place was beautiful, all white & clean. As this was my first time, I did not know what nail technician I should use. My nails were done my Mydol. She "ripped" & cut my cuticles making them bleed. She does not know nor did she paint the nails along the sides. Do not have your nails done by her. What a horrible experience. Still had to pay $12.75 for this regular manicure which was terrible.
