Miami is my hometown and I come down from Chicago for the Holidays. Needless to say, I just didn't have time to get my nails done before my trip. I was happy to have found POD 22....which is less than 2 miles from where were staying. POD 22 is a Great Place! The staff is friendly and professional. This option is a no brainer for mom's on the go with kids in tow. My 2.5 yr old daughter had a blast during the supervised play. The Nail Tech (Pierrette) was amazing! POD 22 is a welcomed addition to the indoor playspace world. My initial visit included a manipedi while Sasha supervised my child. I was there post hurricane, just as folks were beginning to return from evacuation so Biscayne traffic was beyond insane (the traffic lights were all still out) and just in general folks were on edge. I was late for my appointment as a result of the broken light and nutty traffic...I called and really appreciated how mellow and kind Giny was. We still had no AC and things were so crazy on South Beach, so how nice to step inside Pod22 and relax. The front desk staff are very pleasant and helpful.The nail techs are so very friendly and attentive. I was particularly pleased with Sasha, who played with my bebe while I had my nails done. She is bright and animated...I was thinking of asking her if she'd be interested in a babysitting gig! I appreciate the fact that a phone charger is available (I didn't notice that my first time!)  and also a cawfee station. FYI bring your own cawfee pods for a bit of a price reduction on your cuppa cawfee. While we haven't been around to catch YOMU yoga there, it is a super nice feature! Check it out! Read Less

Very modern and cool looking but kind of lacking in activities. I like the concept and they play good music. My child really liked the screen with the games but the playground was not as exciting or challenging as we would have liked. This place is very cool. The kids love it and the decoration is very modern, clean and simple. They recently raised their prices which makes it overpriced in my opinion, I've been to other places that offer more for less. Yes, it's very nice to have the opportunity to do your nails, but they don't have staff supervising if this was the case, if they did, I didn't see any. I went with a friend and our 4 years old. Even though the place was packed due to last minute events, they kindly accommodated us. Front desk staff was very polite even against all the commotion, children running around, parents trying to ask a question every 30 seconds. I was very impressed of how composed and professional they were. Equipment is brand new and put together in a very interesting and stimulating way. My son did not want to leave there. Horrible customer service in every way. I bought a Groupon only after I called and spoke to someone in the morning about what the rules and regulations were and what costs and times were. Then called again in the afternoon after purchasing the Groupon I was told to purchase for my daughter to play since I was going to be having a mani and pedi done. The girls that answered the phones twice did not mention that I had to bring socks for my daughter to play or that if I was having service I would have to purchase supervised play instead of open play. Both the girls I spoke to on the phone where lost in regards to services. I got to the place and was told I purchased the open play Groupon and that instead of open play since I was having services I needed supervised play. I told her this is what the girl on the ph told me to purchase. So I said ok can't u just change it the girl in the front simply says no we cannot you have to pay now for supervised play then she can go play once your done at the open play with the Groupon. The other girl then said oh you can try to get a refund and get the supervised play which I couldn't. I asked to speak to a supervisor and the girl said she was gone. I asked her to call her and the supervisor simply said she couldn't do anything for me. Since the customer should always be right and you should try to help the customer feel like coming back and they didn't try to help me in anyway, I would not recommend this place to anyone. Very poor customer service the owner has these young girls working in the front and answering the phone that don't know anything and give the wrong info to customers. The owner obviously has poor management skills also when they called her and she couldn't even offer to give my child a pair of $2.00 socks since I wasn't informed I had to bring my own socks for my child. As a customer I wasn't even worth $2.00 socks although I spent over $60 doing my nails and feet. Which by the way are over priced as well since my mani and pedi where $38 and it ended up being $54 because they charge $8.00 for nails and $8.00 for feet to use the wanna be gel polish. Sadly I thought I would recommend this place to all my friends which would love the idea of doing they're services and having they're kids play but I would not recommend this place till ownership changes and customer service changes also. Also for those with kids over 5 this is not for your kid it's more for small kids my daughter is seven and after half an hour was bored. By the way Virginia I called before I purchased my Groupon and I was told by the girl who answered to purchase open play and she knew well that I was going for a mani and pedi. Love this place. Friendly staff. Easy parking. Easy access. Good layout. The only complaint I had which will happen anywhere if they don't have a designated area for kids under 3 is that my kid was almost trampled by a trio of hyped up 7-year olds! LOL. They hit me instead of and a collision. Needless to say I was a wreck watching my LO until the kids left. Once they were gone and it was just kids under 3 I was able to relax. Did a mani pedi and had babysitting service. The pedicure was really nice. The manicure was just ok- she cut my nails too short and the shape wasn't what I asked for. The babysitter Alexa was amazing with son! This place is awesome. The supervised play experts are great. My kid has a ball every time. You can see your kid during the entire time while receiving your service. The staff is personable, professional and friendly. I stopped at Target before coming, but they have a vending machine of snacks if you are concerned about healthy snacks. Only went there to have my nails done, so I don't know about the playzone part, but it definitely looked cool for smaller kids. Nail salon staff was really nice, but the actual nail job wasn't the best I've tried. The edge of the tips of my nails were not painted and once the UV heat makes the gel polish retract, a small piece of the nail is visible and the nail is not as protected as it could be. Also, the same evening I noticed a small chip on one nail and an air bubble on another. It's been a week now since I went there and the gel varnish has already peeled off two fingers. Usually gel polish lasts 2-3 weeks for me, and I didn't do any house work or anything else that put my nails at risk. So to sum it up, loved the place and the staff, but not so much the product. What a wonderful place! We did supervised play and the mommies had their nails done. We had one mom who was late, but they were happy to accommodate us and even gave us a little bit of extra supervised time so we could finish having our nails done. The supervised play was amazing! There were staff members for each child, and they really interacted and played with the children. My daughter has been asking to go back ever since we went almost a month ago. I highly recommend this as an activity for rainy days, hot days, and really any day where you want to do something a little different and also relax yourself. Read Less

This is Such a great spot! It's an indoor playground and Nail Salon. Seriously an awesome little oasis. BIG, fun, clean, modern slides and climbing areas that tire the wee ones out. For older children, there is this cool,  interactive floor game projected that allow you to kick and jump on different areas to score points, and is fun for parents, too! I think the best part is that you can also get an amazing mani-pedi there, while your child plays. Mine never wants to leave and we stay until closing many a night. Kids will play in a gorgeous indoor park, but this place is a lot more than that. It offers an amazing space for us parents. Couldn't get more convenient than having a nail salon inside the premises (but without the kids!) and a cute coffee chill-out area to work or unwind while the kids are having fun. Fully recommended!
