This place is amazing!! They open at 10 and when I got there at 9:30 there was a line. Don't be scared because the truth is they are worth it. The staff is really friendly and the owner Linda is a dream. The girl who did my full set was patient and good. My nails look amazing. I also received a pedicure which was awesome. While I was there I wanted to try their eyebrow wax and tint. AMAZING service. The owner did my brows and they came out perfect. The shop offers a variety of colors and services. Wow! This salon can definitely do the fancy, blinged out nails for a decent price. The ambiance is great, they serve wine even! The woman who waxed my lip was extremely knowledgeable on hair type and how that plays a role in waxing and even gave me a great hair removal suggestion that I can purchase and do myself at home. Everyone was extremely polite and friendly and the spa was clean and sanitary which is super important. I have been to many nail salon's in the past. Today was my 1st day with my sister in law at Nail Candy. We are both happy and love the way our nails came out. When I first moved to the Palmetto Bay area a little over a year ago, I was heartbroken over having to abandon my previous nail tech of over five years. Luckily, knowing I had YELP to turn to for help, I came across this little gem called: Nail Candy Spa! Ever since then, I've been visiting them for a (gel) mani & pedi every two to three weeks, with none other than Yadira - she's the BEST! Their color selection is TO DIE FOR and everyone is always so welcoming! Plusss you get treated to complimentary water or wine (I'll take the latter) while getting pampered! I had a mani and pedi done with Lisette. I was doing my nails elsewhere before but needed to find a nail technician that would remove excessive skin and ingrown nails. Soo thankful for Lisette! She does an excellent job! The nail polish selection is large including Miracle Gel (no UV light) for no additional charge. She did a design on my nail for free too. Great first experience. No appointments but didn't have to wait long at all.  Acrylic nails is the longer wait but I did my pedicure first while I waited and was able to do hands right after. I came to this salon because my coworkers said it was a nice spot & they always had nice nails so expected to come out with a nice set i like my nails stiletto & i always go for a fun look with stones the shape of my nails is horrible they are too thin & you can see my natural nail poping out of the corner of the acrylic nail its been 3 days & the nail polish looks chipped I've had bad nail jobs before but this is bad  my feet look amazing how ever the lady that did my pedicure was great she had the softest touch and made my feet super smooth & she was really nice but mybnail were my main reason to go to this place & i am so dissatisfied that i wont be back Read Less

I recently moved to the area & was looking for a good nail salon. Based on the many positive 5 star reviews decided I would give Nail Candy a try. Well I tried & although salon is very clean & owners friendly & hospitable, I will not go back. Being a very low income single mom I rarely have the luxury to spend on me as it's not there to spend & needed for my kids. So the 3 to 4 times max a year I do treat myself to a mani I want to be fully pampered, my hands indulged, & feel like I am getting my monies worth. Having both hands simultaneously massaged for all of a second if that, hardly constitutes the pampering mani's I not only enjoy & have received in the past from other salons, but fully expected, wanted, & hoped I would receive at Nail Candy but did not. Very disappointed & dissatisfied. Another turn off, Yadira who did my mani did not speak or understand English. I don't think the other 2 or 3 girls did either, just the owners. This salon is in West Perrine, not Little Havana or Hialeah. I know most salons now charge $12.00 for mani's, but the few places I went when living in West Kendall still charge $10.00.
