The best salon around hands down. The only place I know that actually has an autoclave machine to clean and disinfect tools, because nothing else works 100%. Professional nail techs that do an amazing job and it's safe not to get an infection.....what else is there to say....wait...did I say they use non toxic products, yes they do. When I first entered Luv Nails, I was instantly relaxed. The decor and staff are very nice. The young lady at the front desk helped me choose a color and the woman who did my nails was kind and shaped my nails very nicely. Unfortunately, I had to give this salon one star because after just three days, the gel on one of my nails has peeled off. I have been careful to wear gloves while washing the dishes and not pick at my nails. After spending $44 ($35 for the nails plus a nice tip for the stylist) I was severely dismayed at this. I never treat myself to getting my nails done but seeing as I had an event this past weekend and another one this upcoming Saturday, I figured that gel nails were the way to go because they are supposed to last two weeks. I am very displeased with this turn of events as now I will have to spend more money to get my nails repaired for this weekend. Every corner of this shop is so so cute! They're a non-toxic shop and use 5-free polishes, so you'll find polishes like Zoya and CND there, which I love! I requested Kireña for mani and pedi -- she was amazing! My nails came out perfect! If Miami had a "best nail shop" award, Luv would totally take it! I also loved the fact that they had very chill music playing in the background -- the vibes were very spa like. They even offered me hot tea while I got my pedi done, which surprisingly tasted good lol (i'm not a huge tea person). If you're looking to try a new nail shop in Miami, go here! Nice, yes, but soooo insanely over priced. I was wondering why I was the only client in there during my entire visit, but once they told me the price at the end, I knew why!! Lol. Their competitors across the street are doing better quality manicures for a fraction of this price. I am so sad. Just when I thought I found the perfect nail salon, (which is difficult for me to say because I am picky) I come back in after my manicure where they were suppose to fix two broken nails and the woman at the front said it would be 20$ to repair two nails that should of been fixed in the first place. Not your run of the mill place.. ladies, if you are looking for the whole yucky fake acrylic thing this is not the place for you, but if you want to have a real and legit spa style manicure and or pedicure this should be on the top of your list. No 10$ action so again if you want the real deal spa treatment vibe, this would be it, in life you get what you pay for and I will happily pay for the services here. Every detail on the place was very well thought out and executed perfectly even down to the tea selection and the daily fresh fruit infused water. I have to admit, I'm was torn a bit torn on the review, The place deserves 10 stars but at the same time I almost wanted to keep it my little hidden treasure...
