I was truly disgusted when I received my services from the Spanish pregnant little girl by the name of Shakira. Rule number one, when your lip has an oozing nasty bump on it... stay your herpes having nasty butt at home. My whole appetite was ruined after taking one glance at the infectious herpes outbreak on the side of Shakira's lip. I definitely will not be going back. I really wanted to get my head shaved and I figured Miami would be a great place to do it (I mean, who wants a cold head?). So, I made an appointment from their website. Very easy to use. There was a momentary bit of confusion when I walked in and confirmed that the appointment was for me (apparently they don't normally do women's haircuts), but after conferring with the barber, she said that it wasn't a problem. Although they bill it as a man-cave environment (and it definitely is) I wasn't at all made to feel unwelcome. I enjoyed the experience and I walked out with a very smooth head. Read Less

Great place for a day spa for guys!! A bit on the pricey side but totally worth it!! The pedicures comes with a foot  massage that is out of this world!! Wasnt happy with the original haircut and manager did EVERYTHING in his power to make SURE i was happy before i left..  got another " do over " for free.. no questions asked.. .. big screen tvs.. head phones.. the works!! To say this place is amazing is an understatement. From Christina when I called in, the experience was more than pleasant it was epic. She told me about all that my experience was gonna be and that was before I even arrived. Once I arrived Gil was a super knowledgeable Barber who explained to me when he saw visually from looking at my head and beard, then he went to work making sure he was clear on what I wanted but also making skincare/beard care recommendations. The icing on the cake was Star who did my manicure and pedicure.  She used her education to explain to me treatments for my skin, hands and feet while I was home. In addition she Up sold me items and even told me why I would need the items and how I should use them. The way she explained everything made me know I couldn't leave without what I needed for my well being. For each of the technicians they even allowed me to fall asleep and they continued to do the work and when I awakened it truly was a great experience.  Every man in Miami and every woman or man who has a man in Miami should treat their partner/spouse to the very same experience I had today. This truly made this Miami trip one for the books, and I will absolutely be back.  Star even expressed how the company has a franchise element to it which had me thinking about taking this entire concept back to Newark, New Jersey with me. First of I'm really against getting pedicures on the other hand manicure I get them a few times a year. I took the time to step in the location since I was in the area my wife begged me to visit. I decided to get a whole service done including a pedicure. I must say that when I sat down Jasmin mcgee asked me what was I comfortable with getting done. I had mention to them that I didn't like pedicures and that I didn't want my feet touched but then I thought about it I'm payi...ng for a full service I might as well. She took the time with my picky request about my cuticles to my odd shaped nails and how I liked to get them shaped. I was served not one but 2 glasses of scotch. Handed a headphone and a remote to watch some tv! But I decided to know more about this place Called "hammer & nails shop for guys". Shared my story on all outlets...This business deserves success... First...being a man (a manly man at that), I originally felt that it would take a lot of convincing (damn near blackmail) to ever set foot in any salon or nail shop. This assumption was quickly retracted when a beautiful and vibrant promoter named Cristina did a presentation of the business model, concept, and lounge design. I was offered a promotional manicure and after a week of consideration acted on it. ...The Location: The location is nestled in the Midtown area of Miami, which provided a nice overall ambiance for the life changing event that was about to occur (dramatic, I know, but being honest here). The design and layout of the facility is very welcoming to any gender, race, culture and creed. Very sleek, industrial feel with the right amount of luxury for a "male grooming experience". I was greeted by the owner of the business, and then taken care of by the beautiful front desk manager Cristina (I must admit I had an instant crush, with a thirst level of severe dehydration. I could write a whole review just about her presence and spirit). Anyway, the appointment setup was very simple and professional and the staff is courteous. The Experience: I was offered a drink of my choosing while awaiting the appointment time (brownie point). I was then introduced to my technician (Star), and seated. Once again, the setup is classic...I still felt all the manly man juice circulating but also felt that this pampering experience was going to be a great first one. The seats are plush soft leather seats designed by a man cave God, lol. They are perfect for the full pedicure and manicure profile/lean, but for a manicure only there may need to be a little more back support. You kind of sink into them, which is great, but different. MY TECHNICIAN WAS GREAT. The hygiene and cleanliness level of their preparation and setup is second to none. If nothing else, they need to keep the standard set by Star. Personal TV and headphone just for you, and a nice little spirit/beverage to match. Star was very knowledgeable and attentive to my level of comfort during the process. It's a true grooming experience, a lotion hand massage which automatically increased the weight of my eyelids by at least 70%, and an attention to detail that I believe additional patrons will appreciate. The overall quality of the manicure itself was a 9/10. I'm a stickler for evenness of the white part of the nails being the same. With the square nail cut they do, it leaves a little more to be desired, but that is a personal preference that I am sure would have been addressed if I requested it.
