I made an appointment for 4pm to do a mani/pedi and eyebrows. Having been there a few times, I didn't think it would be an issue. First they made me wait until almost 5:00 to get started.I didn't say anything and did my nails in peace. Then when it came time to do my eyebrows, the woman that was doing my nails called for the woman that does the eyebrows. She said that she couldn't. And that she was almost an hour behind on her nail appointments (like it's my fault you got yourself behind, right?)Even though my appointment stated that I wanted to get my eyebrows done. She tried blaming the girl in the front because she "didn't tell her" I wanted to do them. She kept telling me to come back tomorrow or that MAYBE she'd have time later tonight. I didn't get her name, but she was rude and had a nasty attitude and shouldn't be anywhere near customers. The Platinum girls are lifesavers! Due to some unfortunate circumstances that arose with the salon scheduled to do hair, make up and nails for the ladies in my brother's wedding, we were left with nobody to provide those services less than 48 hours before the wedding! I called Platinum (at 7:30 p.m.) and they immediately set to work to figure out how they could accommodate us. Needless to say, they worked it out and made everyone look amazing! I have been doing my nails here for the last 3 months. Don't really have much to say besides that it's alright for the price I guess. About the ownerI have only seen her there once on a Saturday and wasn't friendly or rude she was just there to pay her employees. I do gel manicure and regular pedicure and it was good. I usually book my nail appointments based on when it is a good time to bring my children with me, not on a specific nail technician. I can say with confidence that the 4 people I have encountered directly, they are all amazing! I doubt that you could go wrong with any one person, and my children are made to feel at home and at ease. Usually i see Kelly at the desk and she is always smiling! Had my first ever professional massage today and it was more then i had expected. Used part of a gift card I received for christmas and got the 25 minute deep tissue massage. I've had my mani and pedi fine with Mercedes she's really good.  My only issue with this place is the chairs.  They are so uncomfortable. My mani and pedi time is my time to chill and relax.  To be in a place for an hour or 2 and sit uncomfortably is not so cool. I would give this a 4 if they had spa chairs.  A 5 of they had more than 1 person that did as good of a job as Mercedes. The other ladies I've done them with were ok. While my massage therapst was wonderful, I was disappointed that it was not what I had scheduled. I was very much so anticipating the Signature Massage complete with the scrub, hot towels, essential oils and stones. However I did not receive any of that. I received just the massage. When I presented to pay, I questioned and was informed that there was an unexpected emergency with the original therapist, which trust me, I understand. However, if I was not going to receive what... I scheduled, I would've rather been informed and rescheduled when I would be able to receive those services. This was a gift from my husband and I rarely treat myself to these types of things so I was really looking forward to this particular massage. Sadly my experience was disappointing and I'm upset that my gift certificate went to services that I didn't receive. My boyfriend and I enjoyed massages and pedicures here today. I've had massages here a few times and I've loved each one. The pedicure was one of the best I've ever had. I'm in the cosmetology industry so I know what it takes for a good pedicure! The entire staff was very welcoming and accommodating and the salon itself projects a very comfortable and relaxing atmosphere. I have really enjoyed the few times that I have been at your salon for massage. Dawn is wonderful and I encourage people to make appointments with her! She is awesome! Now here is the not so happy part of my review. I received an email advertising "No Tricks, Just Treats." The offer was for if you scheduled any salon service for last Friday or Saturday that was $75 or more, you would receive a gift bag worth $50 of Dermalogica products and a $15 gift card. I had been wan...ting to make another appointment anyway and this drew me in. As I checked out after my wonderful massage I asked about the gift bag. One of the people behind the counter said that offer was good only if you mentioned it while setting up the appointment. Really? I went back home and read the advertisement several times. I did not see that mentioned anywhere, not even in small print. Well, I guess the trick is on me. Sorry guys, but if that's the way you want to "treat" customers, you need to think again. I really enjoyed this nail bar. There's plenty of parking and the ladies are very attentive and sweet. You can't beat the price... $20 maní And pedí! I got my nails done by Mercedes and eyebrows waxed by Mari. Mercedes took out a bunch of cuticle and left my hands feeling fresh. And Mari is a gem! Diverso is unlike any other nail salon in the area... Trust me, I have looked!Some of the things that set it apart from the crowd: -Modern decor. -Impeccable cleanliness.-Wide selection of high quality polish.-Unbeatable prices.-Sweetest, most attentive staff. Before Diverso, I was unhappy with my nail tech. I'd sit in awkward silence the whole time; she would make no effort to have a conversation, which felt strange and unwelcoming. My nail polish would chip days after, or wouldn't dry properly and get messed up hours later. It's been a year since I made the switch and the difference is that of night and day. Mary (my current nail tech), Sabrina (the owner), and the other ladies have won me over with their warm, fun personalities. We all chat it up and laugh; it always feels like I'm with good friends. Oh, and my nails? They finally last! I do a regular mani/pedi, and it often goes 2 weeks without chipping. Even though a part of me wants to keep them a secret so there are more appointments available for me (heheheh)... It goes without mentioning that I wholeheartedly recommend them. Lol at the fact that the bad review on here is from a person who didn't even get their nails done. ANYWAYI am a regular at Venetian Nail Spa where I pay $50 for a mani pedi and $67 for a gel mani pedi biweekly. It was the only nail salon I trusted. Unfortunately, my last visit was sub-par.My friend, Lourdes, was always raving about Diverso and its new owner-- a lovely lady named Sabrina-- and her manicurists. I decided to give the place a try and holy cuticle, I am SO glad I did.This place is super modern. The decor makes me feel pretty. LOL. The white walls and furniture looks great with the orange accents. It's actually a huge relief to walk into such a bright place.The equipment was clean. I usually take my own supplies for the manicurists to use but I felt really safe letting them use their own stuff here.The owner, Sabrina, works the front desk and is the sweetest thing. I was sat immediately for my appointment with Misleydis (spelling?) who was FANTASTIC. She also does my friend Lourdes' nails and her daughters. All of the ladies were friendly and really seemed to be having a good time. I laughed the whole time I was there and felt like I was among friends.My manicure and pedicure were impeccable. The entire thing took about an hour and a half. Misleydis was very thorough and detail oriented.There aren't any massage chairs or frills, but hey. The quality was way better than most places that have a $1000 chair for you to sit on. Quality really stood out to me.When you book your appointment through Yelp, it just shows the owners name. If you want an appointment with a specific manicurist, you need to call.Their prices are outrageously low so make sure you tip well.
