The manicurists must get paid more if they don't paint the entire nail because GODDAMN we're the sides of my nails missing polish  beautiful place but NEVER AGAIN!!! She makes getting your nails effortless and time goes by so quickly with her because she just keeps you laughing from start to finish. Beautiful Beauty bar located in Miami Lakes! I come here every two weeks for my eyebrow waxing with Theo! I've been coming to Theo for 2 years now and she is the eyebrow QUEEN, hands down. If you want nice thick eyebrows, this is where it's at. You can tell her exactly what you want, and she'll remember every single time and get your eyebrows where they need to be.I haven't had many services done here yet, only Eyebrows. I did also have my teeth whitened here once and they came out AMAZING! It was my first and only time having my teeth whitened and I was very happy and satisfied with my results. In addition! Thanks to Yelp reviews, I found out about Polished Beauty Bar.  It's a hidden gem of a nail salon - clean, excellent service, beautiful decor, cozy .... and did I say excellent service, already?  I went for a mani/pedi and was seated immediately.  Granted it was on a Wednesday afternoon and it was not too busy, but you can tell that they are good about accommodating clients at their scheduled time.My manicurist was very precise and careful with my mani/pedi.  My pedicure felt like heaven as she did the foot rub and thoroughly cleaned and polished my nails.  My mani was gel and she also did a great job of carefully applying the nail polish and allowing it to cure a good while under the light before applying the next coat.The prices are good, too.  Considering the location and good service, you could expect to pay more - but they keep their prices competitive.I will def be going back for my next mani/pedi. Came here 3 weeks ago with my mother for the first time a few days before my wedding. I saw Gina and she was the absolute sweetest, super friendly and attentive. She did an amazing job on my nails - 3 weeks later and they haven't broken, chipped or lifted. My mother also had the best experience and was extremely happy. I've lived in the area for nearly my whole life and didn't even know this place was here. Gina was very attentive and friendly from start to finish - she even booked my appointment over the phone prior to my visit. I was pleasantly surprised when I had my manicure/pedicure done. I was in dire need of an eyebrow wax. Haven't decided on a place since I've moved to the area from Kendall. I was sort of in a rush and I found this quaint place on yelp, called to come in at that very moment, and they took me right in. Parking isn't fun in this little shopping center, but it's a really cute nail/beauty spot tucked in behind casavana. My eyebrow wax came out great. I'm really happy I decided to give them a whirl. I'm only going to rate ut 4 stars because the place looks very posh. The owner is very nice and makes people feel welcomed. The staff on the other hand don't know the first thing about customer service. The minute they realize you aren't their customer they completely ignore you. I go there to see Theo. She's amazing always leaves my eyebrows looking amazing. She's the eyebrow goddess. I normally get my nails done at the Venetian Spa at Shops of Pembroke Garden, I figured if I'm already doing my eyebrows at Beauty Bars might as well knock to bird off with one stone... Well apparently they don't take walk in. By appointment only... That's ridiculous! The receptionist doesn't great you if you aren't there to visit one of the nail techs. I started coming here in January 2016 and I loved it. However, with recent renovations and a lot of changes by their amazing owner, I am now IN LOVE with this place. Ladies, I'm sure you know the difference between love and being in love and I'm sure you will experience the same. The atmosphere is chic, filled with amazing decor and the staff makes your feel like family. There's always coffee, fresh fruit infused water, cupcakes, and other little things that give it a nice edge. The colors are updated and you don't have to worry about matching them because they're extremely organized. All the girls are extremely talented but I personally do my nails with Leydis. She always knows exactly what I want and my nails never chip or break (I do Gel) I am definitely never going anywhere. Read Less
