Natalia has transformed my hair. I wanted my curls to come back after 2 keratin treatments and a lot of hair damage due to continuously dyeing my hair blonde. I was very pleased and trusted her to do a good job with hair cuts (it's very hard to find someone who knows how curly hair will react after it's been cut). On a recent trip to Miami I had hair extensions applied by Mary. I have never had this done before, and she was so wonderful every step of the way! Prior to arriving in Miami, she walked me through the process. When I arrived in Miami, I went to Salon Vaso for a consult with Mary where she matched my hair with the hair she had overnighted. She then fit me in for an appointment. The results are stunning! Mary was very lovely I am so pleased with the results! This is an average salon and they make an average work, but they charge like you in the best hair salon and hair stylist in the world. I paid $450 for a single color. I think it's too much, especially since the color did not come out what I asked for.However, Vaso herself is a nice and sweet woman.  I give her 5 stars, and 2 stars for the hairdressers as they don't deserve what they charge. Worst experience ever . I visited the salon after reading the reviews but obviously it's everything but a professional Salon . My skull is burned and my hair is falling after trying to dye it blond" it's not my first time" They used horrible products that burnt my scalp. I didn't pay $500 to lose hair.Not only was the dye job bad but I am left in so much pain and had to visit a dermatologist. I have to take medication for it. I've been going here for over 3.5 years and all I can say is that I absolutely love it. Front desk always meets me with a smile makes me feel welcomed every time i walk into the salon. The staff, doesn't matter which one, always asks me if I need anything to drink and they try to accommodate me in every way possible. The interior has been majorly upgraded recently and it looks super modern and fresh.  All the hairstylists here are very professional and doing a great job. Vaso had been giving me haircuts for a little over 2 years and what I find in common with her is her touch for perfection and her notice to details. She takes her time and always does a absolutely perfect job cutting my hair. I've been to several saloon in Miami Beach area and I think their problem is that they won't always listen to their customers request. I can't say enough good things about this place! The front desk is very friendly, the whole entire staff is very friendly with each other- none of that snotty b*^chy-ness you see in other places. My colorist and hair stylist, Mary, was so cool and relatable. She knew exactly what she was doing and turned a red hair dye gone awry into a miracle. AND everything is affordable. (Granted, a corrective coloring is more expensive, but had I gone to them in the first place it would only be a fraction of the cost.)Oh and it's SUPER CLEAN!!! MARK HOLLOWAY IS THE ABSOLUTE BEST STYLIST ON SOUTH BEACH! I liked Vaso just fine .. but it was MARK HOLLOWAY that was FANTASTIC! I had a hard time tracking him down when I returned to SB last November because he had moved salons .. .. to McAllister Spa at 13th and Alton! BUT Mark is well worth the effort! His color, high lights and cuts (plus best brow threading) are the absolute best I've ever experienced! I found Mark kind of by accident last year and went home raving about him to my stylist at home .. much to the stylist's dismay! Mark is just plain better at what he does than anyone I've ever used .. and I've used a LOT of different talented stylists over the years! I just moved to the southbeach area and the first thing I realized was my eyebrows were atrocious. I decided to google, as always to find somewhere to get them threaded. I normally wax, but I heard threading looks better. I saw Salon Vaso and they had AMAZING reviews so I decided to give them a try. OMG I LOVE THIS PLACE!!!! I recently moved to South Beach, and after weeks of searching online reviews for a salon that provides excellent eyebrow threading services, I decided to try Salon Vaso, given that it was the only salon that had received all positive reviews. I was not disappointed. I walked in with unruly brows and left with beautifully shaped brows compliments of Mark. Mark was extremely friendly (as was the rest of the staff), outgoing, and he did a wonderful job on my eyebrows. I do my research. I am very picky about everything and wanted to make sure I was going to the best in color specialits in Miami. Salon vaso was it. My hair before was long, straight, to the end of my back and black. I am Latina with an olive complextion. I have not colored my hair or did much else but trim it for 1 year and 3 months. I wanted a change! I was also recomended to Vaso for Color from another salon! I looked up thier website and was very impressed by thier exposure on tv and magazines, I also had a friend that worked with the owner, Vaso in the Standard before she had this Salon; and was told she runs a tight ship. With the top of my hair being untouched and a bundle of nerves, I went to the salon to make a consultaion with the Color Specialist, Mark. I was told I would be able to achieve a brown base with highlights, not blonde because of the black I had on the rest of my hair from years past, and he did not want to fry my hair. He pointed out he wanted to cut my hair in layers to create more movement, and color my hair a hue that would brighten my olive complextion, and that blended naturally. I felt at ease after the consultation, and made an appt. for two days after, last thursday. The whole appt. took 4 hours, thats it! Lifting, base color, highlights, cut, a manicure for 10 dolllars?? wow, blow dry. Let's just say I have had my hair colored in the past and it took double that at times. I can't stop gettting compliments. My hair come out a medium rich brown with VIVID blond highlights. But it wasen't the chunky just colored highlights, it all blended!! It looked like it was done over time, it is VERY natural looking. My Haircut was cut into layers, and now has more movement that ever! I did freak out when I saw my hair on the ground, but the end result was amazing, they still kept my hair long. The blowout was just as good, it had volume, accentuated my haircut and color, it lasted 5 days with just as much bounce as the first day! I just want to say that I have been to many salons, and have never had the type of result with my hair than with Salon Vaso.
