I took a chance and just went for it. I live in Nevada and came to Miami to work for a week. I wanted to get a good blow out and looked at the Yelp reviews on this blow and dry bar. So glad I did! the little off the beaten path blow bar is adorable. I made an appointment on a Sunday with Ange. I couldn't have been happier. The perfect blow out. Bonus points that I asked about their tape in extensions and was able to purchase, have a perfect color match and inserted by Thursday night. Yadi did my tape ins and it is absolute perfection! I had a great expert at DB last night. I nevvvvaaaa do anything to my hair. It's curly and thankfully I don't have to color it, so I wash it and it dries. That's my jam. Well we had a party to go to and I decided to channel my inner Cher and have my hair serve as a prop. Firstly, it was great that when we called  (hours before said party) DB offered an appointment for practically right then. The salon is located on the ground floor of the Yacht Club at Portofino. I was greeted warmly and the vibe in general was warm and inviting. Angie was my stylist and just as sweet and professional as can be. She took her time and really made my hair sleeeeek. I came in with the intention of only having a blowout done with Giancarlo. He offered to give me a haircut as I was long overdo, and my hair had no shape or style whatsoever. Best haircut ever! My hair feels so light- perfect for this Miami heat. I would recommend him in a heartbeat! So sweet, gentle and quick! I gotta also acknowledge Candice for doing amazing blowouts (I've been to her twice already). Love that she's quick yet doesn't miss a strand, and the blowout lasts me the whole week. Came here for an 'up do' last year.   Decided to have my hair done for 4th July party and walked into the salon to make an appointment for 7/4 a few weeks before the day.  3 hairdressers sitting there with no customers....Requested an appointment for late afternoon, watched the girl put my name into the computer, she even asked to update my contact details.  So, what a surprise when I arrived to my appointment and its CLOSED.  yep, CLOSED.  Not a call, not an email, not even, with 3 staff sitting there listening on, could they work out theyre CLOSED?????  Even though theyre located right next door to me, I will never go there again. This the best blow dry bar here in town! I love Yadi! She does amazing blow outs. The owner is so amazing and welcoming, you get really good energy here that you don't get at most bars. Wow!  All I can say is run do not walk.  If you want to have your hair look it's best go to this hidden gem on South Beach immediately!!!!  I have been coming now for awhile, but just sat down to write this review.  I use them for black tie events, as well as just a weekly blow.  They aim to please, and accommodate whatever look you want.  They are creative, talented and experienced.  When I call, I do not even ask for a particular person because I know that everyone is so good.  Obviously, they all do hair a little differently so you should try everyone and use who you like!  It is clean, and the price is right!  Great hours, and I can even get done on the way to a shower on a Sunday morning.  This place is the best of the best on South Beach!!!  Love my girls... As a woman who has always done my own hair and makeup I knew nothing about getting a blow out and style. A friend of mine who lives at the yacht club booked me an appointment before an event we had to attend. I was blown away at how amazing the whole experience was. Clean environment, amazing staff, and I looked like a princess when she was done. I've never had my hair done before and I will definitely have them so it again. And to top it off I was having a last min makeup crisis and the lady helped fix my eyes so that I was absolute stunning!!! I would recommend them to any woman who has any hair or makeup needs!! ProsGreat selection of styles to blow dry your tresses. Flat rate per blow dry includes shampoo.My and my daughters left with shinny straight hair. Two of us selected the straight dry and it lasted all week.Another got a curly style but because her hair is naturally straight and thick it lasted only 36 hours or so afterwards nice waves remained.My daughters usually wash their hair daily but after the dry they were using plastic caps to protect it.Service was very good from the minute they answer the phone ConsParking only valet or try the marina (I went round and round and had to return to valet or would miss appointment)They will not put the tip on your bill, only cash.The place is rather small and I can see it getting packed pretty soon if they keep up the good work.TipIf the owner is there you can request a haircut .
