i asks for a 14 dollar regular manicure but they charged me 22 for gels and in top of that they didn’t give me the change I was owed plus their tools they used were dirty now my nail beds are infected. also not even three days after having my nails done they peeled off. i highly recommend not going there. Do not go here!! Staff is awful. I tried acrylics with 2 techs. The first one was a young man. Put the acrylics on crooked and super thick. Then I tried Another tech a  times... bad!! Nails kept coming off after 2 weeks. One time for my pedicure they used a nail polish that was old/expired. When I got home my toes looked like my 5 year old niece had used her play polish on me. This salon overcharged my elderly parents for a basic pedicure.  They were told they would receive a discount for two and would pay only $40 for both.  They were there about 30 min. and then were charged $80.  Please avoid this salon since they are not being honest and reputable. This place was HORRIBLE!! I came on a Saturday around 7. The guy who helped me was ok. He literally took a grater and removed the callus from my heels. As the picture shows he filed too thin. This is so painful.He didn't apologize nor did he try to clean it with ointment.  I have been walking with. Slight limp due to the pain. Not only that, I chose a bright pink color and when I asked for a 3rd coat just on my big toes him and the other lady kinda freaked out! They insisted I go under the fan before I can get the extra coat. Not only that the lady left her client to finish me off. Which took 3 or so minutes. Her client was looking at me like I was a bother. Forget that! I was still charged full price for a bad service. As I was waiting for my ride, they kept saying I was done and can leave anytime. Got a great pedicure for my feet and a polish change on my hands while traveling through Melbourne.This place is jumping! Love that! Lots of people working and even after lunch hour quite a few customers. That said, there was no waiting and they took me right away for my pedicure.First I stopped to pick out a color. There are three racks of polishes. So no problem. Great massage on the legs, hot stones, washing and moisturizing from the knees down included! I'm not going back. Had a mani/pedi and left unsatisfied.  I can do a much better job myself ... at home & save the $38+tip.* color selection is limited and quality of nail polish is poor. They mix colors (in the bottle) to stretch it out resulting in old, thick, bubbly consistency.* the techs spend more time gossiping with one another than paying attention to doing their actual job. My male tech filed my nails lopsided. He laid polish on too thick & uneven. There were color swirls in the polish he used because they combined colors & he didn't shake up bottle well enough. He would have left it had I not pointed it out & asked him to redo my pedicure. * it's like herding cattle in there. No sense of quality. Just hustling from customer to customer. Lot more male nail techs than females. I seem to get paired with least experienced male tech. I'm not going back.Update:  Not even 48 hours later & the polish is chipping & peeling off.  What an absolute waste of my money & time. Read Less

This is the worst place I've yet encountered. I wish I had read the reviews because with such poor reviews I would have known to stay away!I had my pedi and acrylic nails done 3days ago. I have no complaints about pedi, it was relaxing and the guy who did it did a great job.The problems started once they sat me down with a guy who looks 16 - he's the only really young person there... make sure to stay away!!!From the get go, he was really impatient with my nails, the extensions wouldn't stick to my nails and he was profusely blaming the gel.. I finally asked why isn't he getting another gel if this one was so bad? He was rude and apologetic the whole time, making really uncomfortable comments about other customers .. but the thing that aggravated me the most was the fact that while he was working on my nails, two other women came to get acrylics, got them done fairly quickly and left!!! I've never spent so much time at the salon before. I could tell something was off by the way he was applying acrylic and fixing the layers three times. I finally asked him if he was new here (which would have been okay by me at least there would be an explanation as to why he's so slow and sloppy) but he got really angry instead and pulled out his phone showing me his text messages as a proof he has a long clientele list (?). I told him I'm not questioning if he has many customers but merely asking if he's new to this because the process is taking longer than usual. He responded saying all the other techs do their job fast and 'not good' and his quality work will last weeks to come. Probably the worst part is that he was really rough on my cuticles and made them bleed all over and didn't care (nor did he apply any alcohol to it to disinfect them)It's now day 3 and my nails are getting caught in my hair (the air is getting underneath and acrylic is chipping away). Please stay away from this guy. His work is not safe, he's rude and obnoxious and absolutely should not be working with female customers. His demeanor clearly shows he's not there out of passion for nails. I specifically asked if they do NexGen nails when I arrived at this salon and was told they do. However, they only used one single product that was labeled NexGen on my nails. NexGen has four steps in bottles and then the base coat and color. I asked when he was putting the gel base powder on my fingers why it wasn't NexGen he said it was just the base. Then I noticed the powder color wasn't NexGen either. And as for the polish in the bottles they only used 2 steps instead of 4 and only one was actually NexGen product. I said that they should not be advertising they do NexGen nails when they aren't using all of their products. The man pretended he didn't hear me. Also anyone who knows how to do NexGen nails knows that you soak off the old nails with a cotton ball wrapped in foil, but this place drills all the way down to your nails. The whole point of NexGen like SNS is little to no drilling but this place clearly has not received or done their research on proper application techniques. I won't be back. They should watch a YouTube video on the proper way to put this stuff on. Read Less

Had a horrible experience here. The man who did my manicure and pedicure was very rude. He cut me on my toe and my finger which ended up bleeding. Did not even clean the cut and kept going. It wasn't until I had asked him to clean it that he actually did (should be common sense). Was super rough the whole time and non apologetic. Painted the nails horrible and missed spots. Read Less

Price doubled cause they just did what they wanted. On board mani pefi is 38 bucks. But my 2 toes needed acrylic cause I have no nails on them. I wanted a reg pedi but after I find out they did a gel overlay on all of them. Idk. I tried to discuss price cause I was charged 80 bucks. I only went here because it was the only nail salon open on Sunday. My lady was the one checking people in, so every 5 minutes when someone would walk up, she'd have to stop and ask them what they needed...kinda annoying. I got the gel nails with french tips ($20 and it was literally just the gel nails. I'm pretty sure it should of included some kind of "Manicure") . She was really bad at the french tips. Less them impressed after getting a acrylic filling, gel and mani.they never applied lotion or massage my hands. Glad they didn't have enough colors to choose from ( to match the mani gel with the pedicure) and I decided to not get the pedicure. Definitely will try somewhere else next time. Read Less

I went in because I had a gift certificate. I'm always wary of trying out new nail salons and this place only confirmed that. I requested a full acrylic set and asked for long nails and the guy not only cut them in different lengths but also left 3 crooked. When I pointed this out to him he made little attempt to fix it. Next when it came to the clear coat he glopped on so much that it took my nails FORTY MINUTES to dry completely. Not only did it take a long time but I was also unsatisfied with the result. I went in for a quick mani and was disappointed with the outcome. I asked for square and they filed my nails down to all different shapes. The paint job was sloppy with red lacquer all over my cuticles. The tech cleaned around my nails after the mani because I asked him to, but after the dryer they still looked awful. I asked on my way out if someone could help clean around the edges again, which they did. Unfortunately even after they "fixed" it the outcome was still really lacking (paint on the cuticles and uneven polish around the nail bed). I'm giving 2 stars because everyone was really nice and they did try to fix things. But I just don't think they have the best skill here and I'm surprised they let me walk out with that terrible mani. Read Less

My parents and I went and treated ourselves for a mani pedi while in town and stopped here after our hotel gal recommended this place. Three hours later, and $150 poorer, (plus tip) I don't think we'll be going back. They got us right into seats and went right to work.  My mom got a French gel mani and gel pedi, and my dad and I got a regular mani and pedi. (They both had the extended massage treatment.) I was the first one done, and my nails were covered in bubbles because the polish was possibly old/too thick. I showed one of the workers, and another tech added another clear coat. It made it worse. I went to the owner and she repainted all of them, avoiding the base coat first. 10 minutes after leaving, after letting them dry for 20 minutes, and part of one is already chipped. Is Opi that easy to chip?They are nice, but for the quality and lack of the polish colors, I wouldn't go back. Read Less
