I didn’t have a good experience, I had someone new it seemed like...sweet guy but could not do nails. I got a pedicure and he dug in my skin so bad that my toe was swollen and painful for the next 2 weeks. He seemed very inexperienced and couldn’t polish nails either. Twee, the owner, is great! She did a gel manicure, plus a pedicure, and it was only $55, plus my tip. This is so much closer to where we live now, and much better service than a salon that I went to before. Read Less

If I could leave less than one star I would. I got my nails done two hours ago and my gel polish could be peeled off because it was painted on top of my cuticles. I’m not even sure if the guy who did my toes was licensed and he kept messing up to the point the lady who did my nails had to come back over and finish my toes and blamed it on my color choice. I tried this place right after hurricane Irma I waited to be seated for about 20 minutes. During this time I picked out my nail color. Once it was finally my turn, a technician started filling up the tub.. no liner. I apologized to the tech and asked for a liner, to which she said they did not have any. As I said okay I will not be getting a pedicure, another tech found a liner for me. I waited about 1 hour with my feet soaked in water before a tech saw me. I had two different technicians work on me. The lady that did my nails happened to be the owners sister. As she did my nails she pointed out other clients and gossiped as they picked their nail color. She also explained to me how she did not use the liners in the tubs because they were expensive for the business to buy, and how she would charge those who asked for the liners. I went back about 3 times after this, but made sure that the tech that had worked on my pedicure the first time, was available to work on me. About two weeks ago I called 2 hours ahead of time and asked if the tech of my preference was available for a mani and pedi, the "owner" said my tech was busy and could not do it right now. I added that I was planning on going in two hours, to which she replied "Aw she is busy" I said okay thank you. As an "owner" she should treat customers with respect, as there are many nail places around. I will not go back to A Vie Nails, nor will i recommend. My daughter went yesterday and they were super busy but we waited because we had gift certificates. My nail technician was Vivian/Barb. She was so sweet and she did a great job on my pedi. I have a love-hate relationship going to the salon. Usually at some point in the visit something hurts, not yesterday. Others message to hard, clip a nail or cuticle wrong. DO NOT GO TO THIS SALON!!! I paid $55 for a pedicure and gel manicure, which is a fair price until you get the service. The pedicure was decent but the gel manicure was atrocious! The manicurist started filing my nails while talking to a co-worker and filed my thumb DOWN TO THE QUICK! She did not listen to how I wanted them shaped and they were horrible—crooked and all different shapes! She put the gel polish on extremely thick and when I questioned her, she said, “that’s how you do it!” The manicurist told me that both the pedicure and the manicure would last for a month. The manicure peeled off my nails in THREE DAYS! I was going to go in and demand they redo it until I read other reviews and realized it was pointless! Do yourself a HUGE favor and go somewhere else! Pay attention to your customer not the tv! The boy who did my pedicure did not listen to what I wanted.. Had to remind him to please remove my ingrown toenails.. My feet aren't very smooth either... I came in a few minutes before closing time and I was pleasantly welcomed by the staff. The place is clean and modern looking with nice pedicure chairs. The nail technicians did exactly what I asked for and even took some extra time time to explain the differences between some of the products they offer. Will definitely come again! Read Less

The nails were rushed, the polish job looked like my 4 year old did it ! I have glue all over my fingers and nail polish all over my skin and not even on the whole nail. The shapes are uneven. I will never be back the biggest waste of my money, please save yours. Now I have to pay to go try and fix this garbage. Read Less

I've gotten a pedicure and a gel manicure here every 3-4 weeks for a little over a year now. I am never disappointed and the finished product always looks great. I used to be an acrylics only kind of girl, but those days are long gone! Now I am a huge fan of the gel manicures. My job is very rough on my hands, but at the end of the day my polish always looks just as good as it did the first day. Bonus: the gel isn't harsh on my nails like the acrylics were. Read Less
