i went on a sunday because they were one of the only places open. i went to get a full set of acrylics. it's hard to find a good nail salon that knows how to apply acrylics to short bitten nails like mine. the nails came out okay. however, they were extremely rough with me and made my cuticles bleed several times. they also left a ton of excess acrylic on my finger tips. they shook up the nail polish before applying which is a huge no-no in applying nail polish because now the polish is extremely bubbly and doesn't look flattering. the staff was very friendly but it doesn't make up for the job they did on my nails. I took my daughter there today, 8/13/17, and we liked the place a lot. My daughter did a full set and a pedi and then she talked me into doing a pedi as well! And yes, I'm her dad, lol ;)  Ling, I think her name is, did both our pedis and she was amazing!! My daughter had her full set done, by I believe Sandy, and was quite pleased. We talked about how we liked it a lot and want to go back there even though we live 45 north ;) ;) It was a small place but we felt it was homey and we were comfortable. This is a family run business and so the people here remember you when you come back. This is probably my fifth time here, I've also brought my grandma to get a pedicure. There is a husband and wife and the husband speaks pretty good English so the language barrier there, is less difficult than some other places. You shouldn't have a problem communicating what you want. I usually get "white tips" but instead of French nail polish I like to have my tips a different color, like blue, red and most recently, I got pink. The woman that does the nails is very good. She is detailed and likes to get your cuticles! One time I had a nic with a little blood but that's the worse and besides, no pain, no gain! It's worth it because she does a good job. Today I went in for something special. I'm going on vacation at the end of the week so I got a gel set to last longer. I'm going to Costa Rica so I wanted the flag colors on my nails. I asked if it was possible and the nail art I was asking for didn't even seem to be a challenge for these guys. They do on average when it comes to the time they take to do nails. Great friendly place. You have to be patient as there are only 3 people working. It's not a rotation though so you have professionals in each department. The older lady is the one who always take care of my daughter and I. Everything is clean, they have TV going, and wifi. It's family place fersure! Only nail salon I go to. I'm glad I found a nail salon that doesn't feel like I'm just another client on rotation. Sandy & Tom plus Tom's mom were incredibly friendly, hospitable, and did beautiful work on my full set, eyebrow wax, and pedicure. Worst experience ever... At first it was amazing. The two girls were welcoming and talkative. My pedi turned out great.... Then I went to get a fullset.. Haven't had my nails done in years... The nails are hella bulky.. ONE of my nails are slanted.. I told the person who did my nails that I did not like my nails and bad as they were bulky. First and last time...My regular nail tech was out of town so I tried this place.  The manager was the one who did my nails and she was NOT good, I explained to her I want them thin.   I walked out and my nails are not thin, they are bulky!!  and it looks like I need a fill already and this is a new set. Very uncomfortable to work with.   The  the only one in there that knew what to do was the younger lady and by then it was too late.  ONE star  is too much for this place. Read Less
