I have to say something. I just watched a video of Karen Wu being berated by a nasty repeat customer and I think Karen deserves the highest praise for the way she handled the situation. She remained calm through the whole thing! As far as the nasty customer goes: She needs to be banned for life. I’m from MA. I just recently saw the video of the women who being completely ignorant and disrespectful. I would like to say I’m in complete awe of how well this women handled it. She did it with such grace. My reaction to her would have been a lot less professional. That customer sounded uneducated, rude, nasty, and many more words I shouldn’t write. This is the most unsanitary place to get a pedicure. Dirty, dirty, dirty! And they are extremely rude too. I had 5 of my neighbors sharing horrible stories about the place but never realized which salon they were talking about until today. I was waiting to pick up a prescription from Walgreens and decided to go in. It was so bad, it feels surreal. They were yelling at their customers on top of their lungs. I cannot believe this place will be open for long. Go in there only if you don't mind being yelled at, ignored and risking walking out of there with an infection or two. One of the employees even told me they have angry customers going in waving doctors' bills and threatening to sue them all the time. I came straight home to disinfect! Told my son and he asked me what possessed me to go there! He said his girlfriend had gone there a couple of months ago and got a bad infection around her nails that she had to treat with antibiotics and ointments. So , I called to make an appointment for two fills which they told me only costs 15$ so we went in and I had a man not quite sure I was at table number 5. So anyways I go and he is rushing to get my nails done assuming so he could leave. So he shaped my nails poorly and man handling me !!! It was hurting he didn’t paint my nails right and then charged me 18$ when he said it would be 15. I looked at his sheet and he charged me for gel and I didn’t even get gel. Summary: cannot shape nor paint nails. Details: I walked in to repair one nail and was convinced to do a whole fill. The lady asked if I wanted my nails the same shape (almond) and I confirmed that I did. She then asked if I wanted them shortened and I confirmed that I did. She began to repair one nail by adding a new tip and acrylic and then found a second nail to repair and only applied acrylic to my real nail. Once she began filing, I pointed out that the second repaired nail was significantly shorter than the rest; therefore, she had me soak it off and put a tip and acrylic on it. When she started shaping my nails she made then round, which I pointed out and said to make them more pointed like how they were when I came in. She then made them very pointy. When I addressed this she was confused and I had to go through every nail with her to get the almond shape that I had. Finally when she applied the polish she put it on so thick and had it all over my finger and applied 3 coats without a moments rest. Not professional at all. Read Less

BE AWARE!!!! I had to give this a 1 star only because I could not review without a star. So what I am saying is I give them a ZERO STAR RATING. I walked in at a very slow time and asked for a nail polish change on my toes and hands NOTHING ELSE THEY CHARGED ME $45.00 THEY RIPPED ME OFF CLEARLY!!! The manager called and just kept saying "i am the manager" no adjustment I was more the willing to pay the regular rate. NOT THAT MUCH. I've been going to this nail salon for well over 8 years. I love the people there, they are always nice and friendly. Karen, the manager will always try to accommodate you in the best way she can. Sometimes the salon is busy but if you make an appointment you are usually taken in at your scheduled time for whatever service you signed up for. I go every 3 weeks or so and have consistently good service. Yes, accidents do happen (I've had them cut my cuticles too closely a time or two) but I know to ask for Angela or Philip or Henry for the best service. After 8 years I've never had an issue with toe fungus (ewwww!) like I have had at other salons. Highly recommend. Read Less

I've been going to Bali Nail Spa for over 4 years. 5 stars because they consistently do an awesome job on my nails/toes/brows.Karen is my girl for my nails. She's also the manager. I do not go to ANYONE else for my gel nails. My nails are consistently perfect every time and they last at least 3 weeks! She's nice as well and is excellent at doing nails. Holly does my pedicures. Period. I have horrible feet but she makes them look good enough to wear sandals and flip-flops! My feet have never looked better and her foot/leg massages are the best I've ever had. Holly is sweet as well as a great nail tech! Most everyone there speaks English, so communication is never a problem. The shop underwent a major style renovation a while back and it came out quite well. Soothing wall colors, new pedicure chairs are so comfy you sink into them which makes a pedicure even MORE decadent (and of course the built-in massage doesn't hurt). Good ventilation keeps the polish smells at a minimum. They have other services such as waxing. Karen had done my brows and they looked great! Nail salons are a dime a dozen, but Bali Nail Spa stands above. Consistently good service, appointments are easy to get and a nice atmosphere makes for a very pleasant experience! I take my granddaughter there and she loves it! My nails look awesome every time! I always get compliments on them and recommend Karen, Holly and the shop every time. DONT GO HERE UNLESS YOU HAVE AT LEAST AN HOUR JUST TO WAIT AND LIKE HAVING CRAP TALKED ABOUT YOU IN VIETNAMESE!!! I had an appointment at 12:30 today and left at 1:30 without my nails done! If I could give zero stars I would. There were 4 available nail techs on their phones, chatting while I was ignored!! After 35 minutes of waiting I asked how much longer it would be and if I should come back another time and was rudely told "sit down, you wait" followed by all of the workers giggling, speaking in Vietnamese and then staring at me making it extremely obvious that they were talking about me. I've been going here for a few months. It's been average every time, except for the last 2 times. Short, boring pedicure... No massage, no scrub, nothing. Nails are okay. The man who did my services was on his phone the entire time, and had to stop every 3 minutes to take another call. This salon is immaculate and they use sterile equipment which is a plus. My manicure and pedicure was quick and well done. My manicure actually lasted for six days with no chips and I was impressed.
