The salon is Under New Management. The owner Kate is very personable with her clients. Kate is awesome. I have been following Kate for 6 months. And now she has her own salon. Went there with my 2 daughters because I'm new to the area. Placed looked good and clean but the guy who did my nails didn't do a good job at all even knowing I told him that my nails looked uneven and huge compare to my fingers, the nail polish was a mess. My nail polish got messed up once the the guy was making sounds like if it was too much to fix it. I also told him one of the nail looked crooked and he said it was my finger (which I never had that issue before) he was rushing to get my nails done. He also did one of my daughters nails and those are even worse (guy with the black hair). My other daughter got her nails done with the lady and those turned out pretty good. My wife took me to get a pedicure. The girl that did my feet was a train wreck. She stopped changed the channel on the tv to a show where every other word was fuck. Then she took my feet out of the water and literally looked over her shoulder for 10 minutes watching Tv then she started on me got up and walked to back returned and talked trash with the girl next to her then she took a personal call while working on me then called the number back to tell the to take her off the call list. I recently relocated to lakeland and am trying to find a regular salon. I found lovely nails on yelp and decided to try it. I will not return. The salon is beautiful, however, there are bench seats for the pedicures so no message. The gentleman who did my pedi/Mani was talking in his cell phone. So in order to get my attention he smacked my leg. Not a light tap, but a firm smack. Before the service began, I requested a design on my toe. There is a section in the front with samples, so I grabbed one of those and was told that it was a 3d design but it could be done with polish. When the time came, I got a completely different design with different colors. Completely disappointed. I wanted a French manicure on my hands and base color that was applied war a darker pink then what I'm used to. My wife took her Mother as a treat to get a manicure and pedicure. The ambiance was extremely relaxing with very nice chairs. The price was around $45 per person, but included a deluxe pedicure with a parafin wax wrap, hot towels, manicure, and a very long massage.My wife and her Mother loved this business for the quality of the services provided and the workers pleasant attitudes. We chose this business due to the high ratings from other fellow Yelpers and it did not disappoint. This was my first visit to Lovely Nails.  I decided to come here due to previous reviews.  I'm a licensed nail tech, and usually do my own nails.   I decided to treat myself to a pedicure.  Upon arrival, I was greeted at the door.   A very polite young lady told me it would be about 20 minutes before a foot bath would become available.  It was a Friday evening, so that was expected.  I sat in the waiting area.  The decor was very minimalistic, which kept the shop tidy.  They were able to start my pedicure before the 20 minutes were up.  Crystal's assistant started on my pedi (remove old polish, scrub, massage, and warm paraffin wax treatment).   The scrub and wax treatment were a nice bonus.  All the clients in the shop were getting pedicures at the same time.  The three techs were doing a good job in rotating their clients.  Approximately an hour before closing time, a woman that seemed to be a regular barged in the shop.  Super loud, obnoxious, kept saying it was her birthday, and that she needed a few services done.  As she was waiting for an available seat, she charged her cell phone at one of the nail booths.  I was secretly hoping that the humungous wasp that snuck into the shop would scare her off. This was our first time visiting this nail shop. I really enjoyed the vide here. From the outside u could not tell that the set up is as nice as is. The colors and lighting was just right.
