Happy Nails, not happy. I walked-in for a pedicure and gel manicure. I was informed "no pedicure, girl at school today." I could see his wife or mother doing a pedicure for another gentleman. I could have waited for his wife to finish up, but that was out of the question. Next, gel manicure. "Okay, I do it for you." Finding a French manicure polish set to use on me was tough. The scissor used to cut cuticles was in an already-opened, dirty package. He then asked, "you not from here." I said I just moved here, I work at the post office doing computer work. Just started the job yesterday. He did not cut down my cuticles or push them back (thank god). So, there was no need to douse oil on my cuticles. Instead of cutting down my nail he filed it down. Ouch! I was not asked wash off the residual nail dust. He just painted over it. He did finish in 15 minutes as promised. I paid $25 for the service. At the conclusion of my visit, he handed me a business card and said "next time, you call." That was my experience at Happy Nail. By the way, I am a metal guy but I also cross-dress in my spare time. Techs do not wear gloves during pedicure. They still use the razor to remove calluses which is against state health code. Don't think they sterilize their tools either since they were not removed from the light blue sterilizer pouch. All these things can cause infection. Beware.Read Less

I have been having my nails done for 30 plus years Since I have been going to Vicki ( almost 2 years) I have had so many compliments on them. In this entire time I have never had any nails lift, come off, discolor,or anything. My nails have been to the beach in the salt water and in a pool with chlorine. They even were on when I rinsed out hair color. Vicki does them, and is the sweetest person ever! Cathy does a very professional pedi, and Eric is wonderful also. I have been a Happy customer for six or seven years now. People stop me when I am shopping and ask me who my nail tech is as they admire his work. Pretty hands are important. They are out there for the world to see and they make a good impression. They also make the person feel good about themselves. Eric cares about his customers and he is very conscientious about his work. Kathy, Vicky and Diana are sweet and give great pedicures.
