Tony's Nails desigh for my wife (Sparkle Nail & Spa ) is by far the best place in FL, they are always willing to take you as a walk in or let you know how long the wait will be they are not pushy as to what you don't want. I love it here and have been a loyal customer since he's been open. They are all so nice I usually go to Mimi but anyone there does a great job anyways. Best nail salon around. They do get busy on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday so I recommend going during the week but honestly the wait on weekends isn't ever super long at most it's maybe 45 minutes? I'm a picky person I like my nails done a certain way and 4 technicians here have done my nails and I absolutely LOVE every single one of them. Honestly the worst place I’ve ever gotten my nails done, strongly don’t believe they are even licensed. Would NOT recommend to anyone. Stay away, not clean, lady that did my nails kept trying to put gel on my acrylics after I kept saying no and wanted to charge me $15 extra (came in with gel on mine only because it was $5 extra somewhere else). Nails are really bumpy and the polish that the person I went with and myself were very old and could tell was thinned out a lot. This place is ok... I wanted to like this place since it's so close and had some good reviews. The first time I went I waited over an hour to get SNS. They did an ok job, I had one person  do my nails the whole time but the 4 ladies sitting next to me all had the same nail tech. It was like the poor nail tech was running an assembly line, she went back and forth to each of them (bringing the same buffer, nail file, etc. to each person) and was really trying her best but the lady next to me got there before me and only had her acrylic tips done when I left an hour later. I wanted to like this place so I gave it another shot a few days ago.. there was one other person in the salon and they rushed me to pick my color, they put the foil on my nails while I was trying to choose (which is difficult since their colors on the nail ring all face different directions so very hard to do with one hand). Then it took an hour and a half to finish, no one spoke to me the whole time, they had a tv playing terrible boyband YouTube music and she was really rough on my nails/ cuticles, she wasn't paying attention and only talking to her friend. The color didn't come out like the sample I chose but I had been there an hour and a half and wasn't going to repeat the process. I've been to this salon a few times and each time I did not have the best experience. The last time in particular, I went in for SNS and I showed the lady (never got her name) what I wanted as far as colors and she completed ignored my colors and picked something different after telling me she can do the colors I requested. ABSOLUTELY TERRIBLE. My nail lady was supposed to remove my acrylics by putting them in foil and solution like everyplace does but instead she pulled them off of my nailbed with tweezers which was very painful I was almost in tears. Then she made my nails the wrong shape after I told her the shape I originally wanted so she then said that it's my fault that my fingers are uneven???? My acrylic was filed so thin that my nails literally broke within a few hours of leaving the salon. Absolutely rude here, she showed no concern what so ever for me. my friend recommended this place to me because she raves about it all the time, so i thought i'd give it a try. its in a really nice area, the spa itself was decent. i walked in and asked for a refill, i picked the color, and waited for the technician. after about 10 minutes someone finally showed up. from the very beginning i felt like this is going to be terrible. i was right. he was very rude (kept answering phone calls and texting), very rough (i bled), and extremely sloppy. they were speaking in their native language and i could tell they were talking about another girl that was getting her nails done as well. never going back. I found Sparkle due to my quest to find a good ANC/SNS dip powder manicure in the area. They have an excellent selection of colors, and I was lucky enough to have V do my manicure on my first visit here - needless to say I was a total convert as she does a perfect job every single time. I have been back many times in the past several months, and am very happy with my manicures and pedicures, as well as the fun pop music videos they have bumpin for your personal entertainment. I would advise making an appointment for an evening trip, as they can get pretty busy taking walk-ins and run a little slow/behind. New to the area, moved from MA and was looking for a new place to be my regular spot. I can say after the first visit this place is exactly what I've been looking for. Very great attention to detail from the staff, they were kind and offered me water. The atmosphere is relaxing and modern, got to watch lots of YouTube music videos of top hits which I enjoyed. They were busy and there was a it of a wait, but the staff was pleasant enough, the salon was clean, and my pedicure looked great. My nails were done a week ago. The gel has been chipping since the day after. Waste of $60 plus $10 tip. Plus the entire time they told me what a bad job the place I went before did. I wanted to like it because it's across the street from my work, but I wish I had just gone where I normally go. I was in Lake Mary for business this week and chose this location based off the rating on yelp. The salon is quite small but what it lacks in size it makes up for in service and hospitality. I would say the manicure I received was one of the best I have had in the past year. 'V' took the time to go back through on my cuticles as well as taking extra time to ensure there was no polish on them (which can sometimes cause gel to peel off early).Additionally, the salon carries a wide variety of OPI polish - my favorite and the highest quality brand in my opinion. I keep coming back to this salon. The employees really care about their customers. They also are really really great at foot/leg massages when you get a pedi. *This rating is only based on my experience with the wax technician* I had my eyebrows done recently and was completely disappointed. I told her not to my eyebrows smaller and to not ruin my shape and it went in one ear and out the other. They were able to fit me in before closing time (which was nice) and the lady was very nice but the work did not meet my expectations. I don't know if I'll ever get my nails done here (I'm little apprehensive based on this experience) but as far as eyebrows go, never again. Read Less

I liked it for the longest time until they must've switched management or something and now they charge you extra for everything and if you go and spend less than $10 they will charge you a fee making it so they get more money from you also they are not very nice there. I've been there twice now. Both times theybtried to pressure us into the green tea pedicure and wouldn't take nonfor an answer. I got it the first time and it didn't add anything tonthe experience even though they kept trying to make me say it was great. The second timeI turned it down, as did my sis and they copped an attitude and chucked the boxes back in the drawer. The first time they did a great job getting the dry skin off of my feet so I was willing to put up with the high pressure sales and the fact that they talk so much about you (I've been to many salons and never felt them talking about me but at this salon they obviously talk smack the whole time) but the second time they didn't do anything about the dry skin so I wasted my time putting up with their crap. I am rating my first visit. I called and they were able to take me immediately. The atmosphere is great, it's quiet and the music wasn't too loud. The decor is modern and attractive. It was very clean and did not smell like a nail salon typically does. It had a very spa feeling at a very reasonable price. I was offered a beverage. The restroom was clean. The foot baths for the pedicures were quiet as they filled up. I found the experience very soothing and relaxing. My technician paid great attention to detail on my acrylic fill and gel polish application. She did not aggressively drill my nails, which is a personal pet peeve. I have gone to sparkle on three occasions. The first was for a pedicure and Steve did a great job.  2nd visit, had Steve again for an SNS.  Had an appointment and had to wait for almost 20 minutes before I sat.  Then he rushed it, leaving out a step in The SNS.  I understand everyone makes mistakes, so I let it slide.Next and final visit, I had made my appointment for 11:30 got there and sat.  There were only three techs and they were all busy.  What happened is even if you make an appointment, they take people ahead and not even take into account that there are patrons that have appointments.  So I was passed from one to the other and my nails looked terrible.  I was there 2.5 hours.  No sense in that.  They muddled under their breathe that I was a stupid bitch (I am multilingual) so when I called her on it she was very upset and suddenly, they all stopped talking to one another. You see, they make fun of the customers that pay and tip them.  Every single customer they said something terrible about.  One was stupid, three were fat, another ugly, and another one a whore.  I know this has happened at salons before but this was the most blatant and nasty personnel I have ever encountered.  At the end, I realized they didn't take care of my cuticles and she said that would be an extra $10?  I started laughing.  Told them very strongly that they made me wait, pushed me from one to the other and that they had the nerve to ask me for more money?   When I paid my $50 and I did not tip.  My final,statements were in Vietnamese. I said to them how horrible my nails looked, how they have spoken about everyone in there and that I would not be back.Nasty people that work there.  If you do not mind waiting, being talked about and nickle and dimed for everything in there, then go for it.  Never again. My first time here today because the salon I usually go to was booked up. I had a gel mani and pedi with Mimi. She is the best. She took her time, cleaned my cuticles, and was very neat. She even took the time to paint the top of my nails which most techs forget to do. I love the OPI color too. They dont nickle and dime you for everything either. My gel nails started peeling off less than a week after I got them. I did not do anything harsh with my nails. They would not respond to my complaint. I was very disappointed. The man who did my nails never once spoke to me and was very unfriendly. My daughter had gel nails done as well and they lasted a little longer, but not much. By far one of the best nail salons that I've been too as far as quality - no bubbles, no chips, long-last (even for my 4yr old - her nails stayed painted for 3 days before starting to chip away). Reason for 2-stars is the staff. A lot of ish-talking about the customers while I was there.  I've been to other salons in the area and I know a common misconception is that the staff is talking about the customers. A majority of the times, I've heard just random convos about things here and there...which I don't really care about.  However, when I'm being called fat in Vietnamese and them thinking that I don't understand, that's a complete different story.  I'm still on the fence on whether or not I'll be returning to this salon. This place is great. I wanted to try them out after the place I used to go totally messed up my nails for my wedding. They needed to be completely redone and sparkle nails took the time to make them beautiful. I went in 3 weeks later for a fill wondering if they were going to look as great the second time. They were amazing! She (I don't know her name ) took her time and made sure they were perfect. They take walk ins but I would suggest making an appointment because I have seen them turn people away if there is going to be a long wait. I've been looking for a great nail salon in seminole county for a few years. Most are just ok but none of them really wowed me with quality and consistency. Sparkle has blown me away. The prices are great and the work is top notch. Make an appointment though because apparently I'm the last person to find this gem of a salon and it can get very busy. First no one was being served & an elder Asian woman told me I'd have to wait 15 minutes & I needed to sit down. Then she completely misunderstood me & tried to force me to get a pedicure - I just needed fills done. That was it.  The girl that was about to tend to me, was excited, but when I corrected her on me just needing fills, she became curt & agitated.  I told her I needed a fill done & because my nails are grown in & she proceeded to raise her voice & yell at me & pretty much treated me like I'm an idiot. I was in town on business that ended up lasting over a month so I had the opportunity to get a fill in and pedicure twice while I was in Lake Mary. Being from out of town and being used to my nail technician I was hesitant to try a new place. I read the great reviews and decided to go to sparkle and had the best pedicure I've ever had. The prices were reasonable and the staff was very friendly. The atmosphere is relaxing and the attention to detail is fabulous. They have different types of pedicures and the massage that comes with the pedicure is excellent lasting a few minutes versus the normal quick massage at other places. I live in Colorado and didn't have time for an acrylic fill-in before coming to FL for a family visit. I found Sparkle Nails on yelp and I told the guy I wish I could pack him in my suitcase and take him back to Denver with me! I have yet to find a good nail place in Denver... I also got a polish change on my toes while I was there and he did a great job with that too.The staff is very friendly (and English-speaking) and the salon is very clean. The prices were very reasonable for the quality of the services provided. I got them done April 30th, today is May 22nd, and with the obvious exception that the nails have grown out, my acrylics still look great! Now I'm back on yelp to see if I can find a place in Denver that compares to Sparkle Nails... doubtful! Read Less

T.  I am in awe of the service, cleanliness, attitude of the staff, and  decor!  The GreenTea pedicure comes with a long massage resulting in the most relaxing feeling EVER. Got my nails done here. As most of them mentioned, the lady who did my eyebrow threading and nails didn't understand English very much. However she was polite and did what I wanted.
