Went to get my nails last week they turned out great, but when I returned to get my eyebrows waxed I felt as if the lady was rushing through to get back to the other customers, I am by far not pleased...
Went to get my nails last week they turned out great, but when I returned to get my eyebrows waxed I felt as if the lady was rushing through to get back to the other customers, I am by far not pleased with the job and I will not be returning to this place!

The only reason they get 1 star is because I had to do so to provide this review. My professional friend went here in the recommendation of another friend. She traveled from out of town to get her nails done on a Thursday. She spent $83.00 (included an $8.00 tip). As the days went on, she could not ignore that the Dip Polish was horrible and unprofessional. When she had pointed it out before, the mail technician said it was her dry skin. Now it's 3 days later and it's apparent, the problem is not dry skin. My friend traveled back there from 1 hour away and asked them to correct the poor job. After they yelled back and forth in their language, friend was told maybe she should go back to Gainesville and get the correction since they didn't know what we were doing. My friends was mortified! She left there in tears. She knew they were talking about her. And BTW, she is African American, looks Professional, speaks Professionally, and is very nice and gentle with everyone. You can make up your mind as to whether you want to risk this type of service.

So I am updating my review because my last visit is just that, my last. The lady was doing a really bad job and when I pointed out how bad my nails looked they started speaking to each other in their language so of course I couldn't understand them. They moved me to one of the men who did an even worse job than the first lady. He talked the whole time repeating himself over and over again rather than paying attention to what he was doing, and since I had been there so long it was after 8pm when he got done. I went to Diamond Nails next to Moe's and they were wonderful. A nice relaxing environment and my nails looked awesome.

The worst work ethic and salon culture ever!! Not professional at all. They cook inside their business, it smells, no courtesy, and they never ask you what you want and get an attitude when you tell them what you want. Their English language skills are zero! I will NEVER go back. But, I can assure they will get a visit from the Florida Board of Business and Professional Regulation real soon! I come here regularly with my mother and today we were the first clients to get there. My pedicure was alright,but they rushed through our manicures and did a terrible job on them. My mom's manicure also smudged. Not to mentioned, we spent close to $160 on both our manicures and were left in several instances halfway through our manis so they could work on other people. We are not coming here again.

Worst experience EVER. I paid 250.00 to have permanent eyebrows done a month ago. I was told to come back in a month to have them touched up, i was never told that i had to make an appointment. The lady there that does the service was very nasty she started screaming in their language SMH. I drove all the way from GA and was not leaving until my touch up was done. All I have to say is I'm glad I do not have to go back. Very unprofessional business.

Rude freaking people! I just needed one nail fixed and they looked at my nails and had me sit in a chair soaking my broken nail for 15 minutes just to tell me that they didn't have the rub on metallic...
Rude freaking people! I just needed one nail fixed and they looked at my nails and had me sit in a chair soaking my broken nail for 15 minutes just to tell me that they didn't have the rub on metallic powder to match. So I said whatever just fix the nail and paint it black. They are steady talking junk about me in their language and I KNEW this because every 4-5 words was in English and there was only one other customer in the whole place. This guy did thee worst acrylic job on one single nail!!! I didn't even let him paint it! I told him it was very misshapen he attempted to fix and made it worse! The acrylic was up over the skin on my finger past my cuticle and he saw no problem with it. They need to have their license snatched from them for doing such crappy work!

I'm visiting family here in Lake City from Kentucky and I really needed a pedicure. It was the 4th of July and I came to Red Nails and a very nice lady helped me. She was funny, social, and even offered to put little flower designs on my nails. She did an excellent job in a decent amount of time. I was very satisfied.

Not a fan of my eyebrows.. They were WAY too thin & far apart... The lady didn't ask me if I liked them, or how I would like them. That was the first & last time. The salon was okay... Didn't have to wait too long... I mean if u like far apart & thin, uneven eyebrows this is ur destination. I would recommend Lake City nails.. Wait is a bit longer, but service & quality make up for it.

Red Nails had HORRIBLE business ethic!! I absolutely DO NOT RECOMMENDED THEM!!! I would give them a negative star if possible. It was Prom in our town and I made an appt four days in advance and left my name and number. My daughter showed up st 5:40 pm for her 6:00 pm appt. They checked her in and she sat down to wait. At 6:15 they told her she would have to leave saying they could not do her they had to leave early. Really!!! I understand things happen so why not call me and say they are unable to get to her. They were not nice! I tried to call and give them a chance to fix the situation. They were not remorseful or sorry! I hope people do not have the same experience we did!!!

I've gone to red nails a few time and I must say they really are the best. I enjoy my visit every time I'm there. Prices are great and the nail techs are super friendly. Hope they stay that way

The only reason they get 1 star is because I had to do so to provide this review. My professional friend went here in the recommendation of another friend. So I am updating my review because my last visit is just that, my last. The lady was doing a really bad job and when I pointed out how bad my nails looked they started speaking to each other in their language so of course I couldn't understand them. They moved me to one of the men who did an even worse job than the first lady. I come here regularly with my mother and today we were the first clients to get there. My pedicure was alright,but they rushed through our manicures and did a terrible job on them. I've gone to red nails a few time and I must say they really are the best. I enjoy my visit every time I'm there. Prices are great and the nail techs are super friendly. Hope they stay that way
