Horrible new Manager. Went on 3/31/18 and the manager was scolding employee not one but twice when I was there about letting them know when they go to publix they must leave their phone number. This could of been done in private. Then he started to talk to another customer saying he's the boss and if employess dont like it they can pack their bags and go. I personally don't want to hear it. Worst experience I've ever had. All I got was a simple manicure there is still nail polish on my skin she didn't clean up and my nails are rough she didn't file them smooth at all she made them more rough with the file. My mother has been going to Amie Nail and Spa for quite sometime now for the past 7 years. I just moved here from NY so I'm already use to a certain type of way of getting a pedicure. So my mom takes me here and I swear I had the worst job done to my feet ever. A lady that had a white coat on which by the way I didn't get her name. She was doing my feet and my mother's feet at the sametime. She was doing everything in such a rush I didn't understand why our bill came up to $59 for 2 pedicures. First, she didn't even take the ingrown nail I had on my left big toe, then she didn't scrape the dead skin from my heels, then when she put the nail polish on my feet, she didn't put the second coat on nor she didn't put the clear polish for the finishing touch. So I ended up telling her about the second coat and she gave me attitude like if I ain't know what I was talking about. So she put the second coat of the nail polish AGAIN she didn't put the clear polish on but whatever. I was already getting aggravated, not to mention she cut me twice and when I said ouch she literally laughed in my face. I have pictures to prove she took some of my skin off and theres still dry blood there. Then when she was done, she didn't even clean the edges of my toes that needed to be clean from the nail polish. My mother said she don't normally go to her that she normally goes to a pregnant lady that wasn't there that day. My mom swears that these people are good but that LADY i will nevrr have her touch my toes or my hands ever! The worst service ever. Horrible service liers & scam i got my eyebrows tatoo here (witch he did a horrible job) at this place the guy told me i can come back for one free touch up when i come back he tried charging me $50 witch i was not paying they shouldn't false advertise they did not only tell me that but also my aunt who i recommended to go there i will never return again the owner did not even try to do anything about it they are money hungry people Read Less

Worst service ever. The female employees are so rude! And have no idea how to even paint nails. They stay gossiping about the customers and make it so obvious. They don't disinfect their tools when doing pedicures. It was just awful not worth spending your money. Read Less

I am not one to give a bad review, However this experience warrants it. I came because of a recommendation of a female with beautiful nails. My technician this day was ill. I don't know if it was her sickness but she did the job of a 10-year-old on both my toes and my fingers. It looks like doodle art. I was so disappointed but it was her second try. It's been 3 weeks since I went in on a whim for a manicure and my nails are still a mess. First the technician could not get my old gel polish off and ended up filing it off my NATURAL nails with the machine file. Then the gel polish I picked would not set...I had to pick another color and she filed the gloppy polish off again. I had polish all over. This wasn't a professional job at all. Very little English was spoken. The technician took personal phone calls during my manicure and my nails are so brittle and thin after all the filing. I am beyond disappointed. Read Less

Had been a customer for years. Then one by one the good staff members left. I left as well but thought maybe I'd give them a try again after over 2 years, because it was so close to my house. Tommy was rude and arrogant. He insulted me, told me he "couldn't be bothered with a fill", and that if I went to any of his co workers I was wasting my time. I asked how long a fill generally took him and his response was "however long I feel like it". Such an awful way to treat customers. Would rather drive 20 minutes out of my way to the Loop then ever go to Amie Nails again! Read Less

I was just wandering the streets trying to find the best price to get my nails done in this area since I just moved here. And I ran into Kevin in this shop and I must say WOW the best service I've ever received in my 26 years of life. My nails look AMAZING!!! Not only do I love the way they look but for some reason I really do feel as if they were done with a lot of love. I just stopped by after lunch. I am new to the area and it was the first location I found near my grocery store. I didn't have an appt but I didn't need to wait. Pretty decent prices, and they had a good selection of gel colors which was what I needed. My nails look like crap beforehand so thank goodness I got them touched up before the holidays. I think I spent around 40 for a pedicure and manicure, and my girl was nice enough to let me walk out with the slippers because I was wearing boots. All in all, it was nice. Read Less

Went here for a pedicure and to get pink & white tips put on about 2 months. Nick did a great job on my tips,  but someone else did my pedi. Thought she did a great job,  but about a week later I started getting a plantar ' s wart on one of my feet.  This was the only place I could have gotten it.  Hadn't gotten a pedi anywhere else in 6 months plus. Just figured no more pedis from here,  but didn't hesitate to go back for a fill since my nails turned out so great.  Nick was busy so someone else did my fill.  It has been almost a week, and I have what I believe is now a fungus underneath my acrylic nail about where the fill line was. Needless to say, I will not be so stupid as to go back again and am now looking for a new salon.  Nick is a great tech, but clearly the salon is not as sanitary as it looks! I agree with the post below. I just went today because I was in desperate need of a pedicure and it was soooo worth it! I also tried the deluxe (they said it was only $8 more than the regular) and I still can't stop thinking about the smell of oranges they used in the water bath. It was so calming. I don't even know where to start. Took 3 hours to get my nails done, tech took personal phone calls while she was doing my nails. When I finally got out of there, the edges of my nails were so sharp, I had to go home and file the. The gel had pieces of sand all through it. They looked terrible. 3 days later, I had broken 3 nails. I never break nails. I returned to the salon, which was a mistake. My nails look even worse now, and one of the nails she supposedly fixed, is broken already in addition to 3 other nails. She clearly had no idea what she was doing. And, I won't be going back! I went in for a pink and white fill, I requested the best tech for pink and white. Kevin is the best they have. Save your money and time. My nails were all different lengths when he finished and had hard spots (dirt in the fill material) that he redid once I pointed it out. Also. there were dark streaks going thru the white tip,which he applied whitepolish to FIX ! What a mess ! Also had a pedicure which he tried to charge $50.00 for, It was suppose to be 1 hour long and it took him a total of 20minutes, The quickest ped. I ever had.
