I haven been going to A1 nails for 3 years and have never had a bad experience. They take their time with pedicures and massage and are very accommodating when it comes to nail color. One day I wanted a lighter color than the one they had and they mixed the nail polish for me until it was the right tint. Another time I just got regular nail polish instead of gel and on my way out, nicked it on the door and the owner insisted I come back for him to fix it the proper way. I can't speak for the nails because I can't abandon my favorite place in PBG, but they do an excellent brow wax here. Asked for a simple clean up and got what I wanted instead of hacking off half my brow, and I hate when they tweeze so much afterwards but this place barely did it. Great place, reasonable prices, very clean, large selection of nail polish.Make an appointment so you don't have to wait. The place can get very busy. If you have an appointment they will honor that and not make you wait another half hour like most places do.They take credit cards but tips are cash only.The music is a little depressing and will put you to sleep so bring your headphones. I love the staff at A1 Nails! Always accommodating, very friendly, and best of all, the quality of the French manicure and regular pedicures cannot be beat. They really take their time with the leg massage. The French manicure is unlike anything I have ever received up North. I love the way they apply the heavy white polish on the nail tip, and then use the brush to sculpt it in the shape you want. A1 Nails is my go to nail spa! When I moved to the Jupiter area about 2 and a half years ago I tried many nail salons but none were as welcoming as the A1 staff. The owners are friendly and always willing to go the extra mile to satisfy a customer. All of the staff are experienced and do an excellent job with both manicures and pedicures. I work in healthcare and wash my hands frequently throughout the day, my manicures never lasted. They introduced me to gel manicures and I love it. It doesn't damage my nails like acrylics do which I had stopped doing a long time ago for that reason. The spa is clean, being in healthcare, I'm mindful of their sterilization of instruments and cleaning pedicure tubs, which they do visibly in front of the customers so you know they're clean. I had a pedicure here on 05/29/15. I am the first person to go out of my way to compliment good service and the last to say when it's bad! in this case bad is not the word! My pedicure was terrible the tech misshaped my toes, failed to remove the dry skin,massage was not good and my cuticles were no better than when I got there. I contacted the owner to tell him later that day he hung up on me and said"i'm busy" So I called back on 06/01 and spoke to him i told of my poor service. He was argumentative, confrontational and just rude! Finally it was determined he agreed to refund me his half, as he pays his employees commission. I agreed he requested I bring a receipt or bank statement proving my service. I went to the salon on 06/05 to get my refund that I was promised. The owner addressed me with stating "you spoke to me?? let me see your phone to prove you talked to me" I was not giving this man my phone! So I was called a liar, totally disrespected! he refused to refund me bringing every male employee in front to stand behind him as if to intimidate me.(didn't work) Customer beware not only will you get horrible services but horrible service! this owner clearly has no respect for his customers, employees, women or Americans in general !! A1 nails it takes one bad review to change the decision of existing or new customers to frequent your salon! This is one if the best value pedicures you will find. Inexpensive but good quality. They always seem to be able to fit me in for an appointment and take walk ins too. I definitely recommend them for a no nonsense, yet very good pedicure. And they have OPI polishes, which are my favorite Read Less

I just got my toenails done here. They look ok. It was the fastest pedicure I've ever had. I think it took 15 minutes. The person that did my nails was beyond indifferent to the point of rudeness. Was looking for a place to get a pedicure and I found this place on Yelp!  I was pleasantly surprised how good the pedicure was and their prices were very reasonable!  Only negative was I was slightly disappointed with nail color choices.  It is Summer so I expected them to have some bright fun colors for Summer, but they had a lot of dark shades more suited for winter.  Still overall experience was still very good! This review is for A1 Nails (they've changed the name of the shop).A1 Nails is conveniently located across from Juno Beach in a plaza next to Walgreens and Publix. I go here every time I visit Florida!! They take walk-ins (thank goodness!) so I'm always immediately taken care of. During my latest trip I got a gel french manicure and regular french pedicure - both done by Jenny. I was totally blown away by how quickly she did both and how GOOD it turned out!! It's a family owned business so over the years I've seen and experienced the same workers. Kim is REALLY good with waxing and fills. I've also had David do a regular manicure and french manicure - I think I'm most impressed with him because he did a top-notch job with painting my nails AND I guess he's pretty popular because I noticed that others requested for him too.
