I've been going for years. It has gotten worse every year. The place is dirty. They don't sterilize anything. I saw them just wash equipment in bathroom sink and put it back in the cart to use on someone else. I saw it with my own eyes. They should be reported to board of health. Read Less

I had a mani pedi done here last April to treat myself for an upcoming cruise.  The pedicure was okay, but the manicure was absolutely the worst experience I ever had.  I wanted a gel manicure and was talked into a more expensive one.  I had my nails done by a rude little man who was very rough and didn't even answer me when I asked questions.  After he did a horrible job and made almost all my cuticles bleed, he stormed off and left one of the women to fix my nails.  I told her that I was very unhappy about how my nails looked, and that I had burning from skin being rubbed off.  She kept telling me to "come back" because she would do a good job.  I was embarrassed to show my nails on the cruise due to the scabs and bumpy, uneven nails.  I could have done a better job without going through this humiliating, painful, and expensive "manicure".  I usually do my own gels, but I though this would be a nice, relaxing treat.  Cali Nails only cares about making money and not about the customer service.  STAY AWAY! If I could leave no stars I would. Rude people. They told me my eyes were crooked because I told them one hand was a different shape then the other was longer than the next. They yelled at me saying I was trying to not pay and threaten to call them cops, when I had no intentions of not paying I was just over the horrible work. They were screaming at my in front of the other customers insulting me and just being absolutely terrible all together. I would never even look their way again. They should get shut down cause they aren't meant for the service industry. PLEASE DONT GO THERE!!!! Wish I could show you guys pictures. This is one of the first reviews I have left online. But I felt that I needed to make others aware. This was the worst manicure I've had in my life. I'm hoping that the man just was having a bad day and this isn't something normal for this salon. I just wanted my gel polish removed a nice manicure and my nails buffed natural. My nails were not filed evenly the pictures are of the day after and my nails are literally peeling and jagged. I understand that it is hard to get gel off but when he used a Dremel tool on the top of my nails after soaking them in a very long uncomfortably hot wrap to get off excess and then scraped them with a metal tool he proceeded to leave all that Gritty nail excess and put lotion on my hands to give me my hand and arm massage mixed with lotion and nail grit. Very uncomfortable. He did not clean underneath my nails. His own nails were all very jagged and dirty. Very unsociable staff all around. I tried to point out several issues during the manicure that he had to fix and I finally just gave up and wanted to get out of there. If they had spoken more English I would've complained and not even paid or at least gotten a discount but I just wanted to leave. Read Less

I wish I could give this place zero stars! Came in with a bridal party for everyone to get their nails/toes done. They didn't bother to ask which kind of pedicure we wanted, just assumed everyone wanted a deluxe.Not sure what made it a "deluxe" either because the guy barely touched my legs & never applied any lotion. Got a French on my toes & it looked horrible! The lines weren't straight & he didn't completely fill in the white. Got gel tips put on & the guy was drilling my fingers so hard he was making me bleed then asked why I was making faces, probably because you're hurting me! It's been less than a week & my pedicure is pretty much completely chipped off & my nails are partially coming off. It's so bad that I'm embarrassed to show them to people & will be taking them off. What an absolute waste of money to have nails put on that last less than a week. Don't waste your time/money going to this place. Read Less

I had a gel fill done. Kept cutting me around the cuticles and did not properly grind around the nails so in a week I has thick globes of gel.not a happy customer plus they charged me for my design that I wanted that they said they could do but when it comes to did it they couldn't and I had to settle for another design. My husband and I went together today for pedicures. We were greeted and immediately seated. He enjoyed his, my technician was completely uninvested and cranky. She rubbed me with only one hand and never rubbed my feet at all. At one point I politely asked her to do my feet. ( we paid for the deluxe). At the end, I was considering no tip, but then I felt bad and softened. When I gave her a generous %18, she never looked at me or said thank you. Nice staff and welcoming environment. They take walk ins but can be busy at times so I would call ahead. I picked a color for my nails but unfortunately they were out, went with a different one instead. I liked that my nail tech kept asking if everything looked good and checked with me after each step. I took my girlfriend here for labor day weekend to get her nails done after finding this store through my mobile phone. Needless to say Paul the owner was fantastic, not only do they provide you with a professional nail service but they are very friendly as well. Typical hole in the wall nail shop but I was shocked by how good the service was so I'm definitely coming back. Read Less

I would say skip it if you can. Went in for manicure and pedicure and left after the pedi. For starters, the place is attached to a chinese restaurant. Kinda weird. They take you  right away, and the prices are decent, but I didn't feel like the facility was very clean. They just took the implements out of a basket in the little station... No idea who else they were used on before me or how often they have been cleaned. Also, I REALLY REALLY hate when you can tell someone is talking about you in another language.
