This was my first experience at BT Nails and it was a lovely one. It was quiet, peaceful, and most importantly, neat and clean. I had a pedicure, and the prices are very reasonable. You also have the opportunity to upgrade the package that provides some nice extras. I upgraded and was very pleased. Two words: H*LL NO. Just stay away from this place. I visited because I needed a wax and they were the only ones open. The woman who did the wax really seemed to know what she was doing. She drew some stuff on my face, waxed, and then plucked them. They looked fine when I peeked in the mirror until I got home and saw that half of one of my eyebrows was gone. I was very happy with the French gel manicure I received here.  I wanted one because I had several big events coming up and wanted my hands to look nice in the photos.  It's three weeks later and all but two of the nails still have polish on them --the manicure has really lasted.  The couple working there have limited English; the man didn't seem to understand me at all.  So it's difficult to communicate what you want.  There was a woman getting a pedicure when I walked in and she appeared to be a regular customer and they were friendly with her.  I wish they'd include a hand massage with the manicure like I'm used to other nail salons around here.  They charge extra for hand/feet/neck massages. I love this place. I got the medium level pedicure which was only $35 but included paraffin wax, hot stone massage, exfoliation...and the employees were so friendly! You can get a soda or water of choice and they will even provide you with a straw so your nails don't get messed up. I was very pleasantly surprised with the service i received today. I chose the mid range pedicure and manicure with gel polish. I felt very at home and comfortable with Ann. First nail salon place I went to do to my eyebrows since I moved to Jacksonville and I can say it will be the only place I'll go to do my eyebrows and my nails. The two employees are very welcoming. The women that did my eyebrows has done an outstanding job every time I came in to have my eyebrows worked on. Also I had a manicure done and once again was not disappointed. Best kept secret NO MORE!  Can't say enough about this nail salon.  Truly professional all the way around.  It has been upgraded with all new wonderful massaging chairs and bacteria free whirlpools!  Products used are only the best...acetone free nail remover and a new line of NU Skin products (with the deluxe pedicure.)  Be sure to go the extra mile with the deluxe!   You will enjoy the wax treatment and all that goes with. This place was wonderful! I found it because it was close to Jax NAS where I was. I am always nervous about trying new nail places because I'm very faithful to my girl Kim at home in Baltimore, but not only was I not disappointed, I was impressed. Welcomed with a smile right off the bat, offered a fan, a beverage, anything to make me comfortable. She did a wonderful job on my pedicure. Attacked my calluses like a true professional, and I'm a runner so that's no easy feat! Even gave me Nu Skin at no charge because I was a new customer. They have a smaller color selection than most places I've seen but they have all the basics that you need.Overall I was very pleased with both the service and the job they did. The couple that owns BT Nails is extremely sweet and it's never very crowded. Their basic pedicures were great until they got a "new skincare line"...4 coats of lotions/oils later I walked out of there slipping around in my sandals. I adore this place. It's not fancy and it certainly doesn't scream "spa" at you, but the people are incredibly friendly and remembered my name after my first visit.My pedicure lasted for weeks and weeks and they did an amazing job of taking care of my trouble nails.As for my manicure, I get the gel nails. Other salons have told me they're too thick, but I quite liked them. They lasted longer as I work a very hands-on job.Overall, a great place if you're just looking for the basics. Read Less

I just moved here from California and I was lucky enough to stumble upon this place. Like, literally stumble. I was on my way somewhere and made a wrong turn and decided that I needed my nails done anyway. Everyone here is super sweet! The pricing is VERY reasonable. Yesterday I got a regular pedicure, an acrylic fill with shellac on the top and my eyebrows waxed. The works right? It was only 54$ for ALL of it. I also bought the VIP package for an annual membership fee of $20 and you get 10% off your service every visit for a year, which for me pays for itself in 4 visits. Totally worth it! So it was 49$ for my service yesterday. I'm used to paying $60 and upwards to have all that done in Cali so I was pretty pleased.The quality is great! I've never had someone take as much time on my pedi as the tech for just a basic package. It's rare for me to settle on the first salon I try, but I will never go anywhere else now. I've been in Jacksonville for about two months and everything here lasts me about 3 weeks. Good quality, good service, IN LOVE! Give this place a try :) Read Less
