I went in last week on Friday to get a manicure and pedicure. The website said they closed at 7:30, but I came in around 6:06 p.m. and they were very busy. I have been to number of different local nail salons, but by far I have never been treated with the most respect and care at any other place I have gone too. Their staff was professional, friendly, and very attentive. It was well after 7:30 when I actually finished and they were still nice and even had two people working on my nails to ensure they were flawless. I have definitely found my top nail salon. Tried this place for the first time because it was close to my house. So far I am not disappointed. The wait was a bit long but I did choose a busy time to visit. While you wait they have technicians that come to you to remove your gel. The technician I had was very helpful. My old usual place closed a while back and it's taken me about 2 Years to find a place I love and Bella Diva is definitely it! Yes sometimes there is little of a wait but they get through it fast and they are amazing! The pedicures are great, they take there time to really clean and buff everything out! They hospitality is great! All those crazy Pinterest nail ideas that you thought you could never get, well they can do them! So disappointed. I just moved to Jacksonville from Los Angeles and was looking for a nail salon that was as good as the ones I went to there. After reading such great reviews at this place I decided to try it. I arrived on time for my "appointment" and finally got seated after 1/2 hour wait. The person who did my nails did a sloppy job, and when I asked her to fix it, she did it grudgingly did it, but was making comments to the person next to her. I met a bridal party here for pre-wedding nail treatment. When I got there, I saw that I was the first person from our party who had arrived. I walked in, and seeing that the people in my group weren't there yet, I wanted to use the restroom. I walked to the back, looking for the rest room and a tan, short-haired,  hair stylist that works on the right side of the shop, literally stopped what she was doing to come block my path and got in my face questioning me, "What are you doing?" I told her I was waiting for my group to arrive. She looked at me like she didn't believe me. I felt like she thought I was trying to steal something. Seriously?? I was looking for the freakin' bathroom.I had to walk outside and waited for the rest of my group outside. When everyone did arrive, I steered clear of that lady and the rest of the employees were polite and professional. The employee who did my pedi did an awesome job. I literally drive 25 min across the city to keep coming back to this place! Why? Because they are the most consistent group of hardworking people that I have ever met in the nail industry.... they keep things clean, they have very little turnover... but yet they are awesome!Anytime I have ever cheated on them and gone somewhere else for a pedicure or for my gel manicure I have been disappointed each time... Always busy busy busy!  I call ahead to see if I can get in and the staff is always very nice.  Their Gel Manicure is the best!  It stays put and looks fresh forever!  I will not go anywhere else for this!  The reason I took away one star is that I have had one pedicure here and it did not last.  Usually my Pedi lasts for months...but the Gel Manicure is so good!There are no extras here and no surprises.  The staff gets you in and out as quickly as possible. Overall, I was not satisfied with this salon at all. I don't get my nails done often so it is a big treat for me when I do splurge and it's usually for a big occasion. I was referred to this place by a coworker and expected so much more. When you walk in, the place does not have a relaxing feel. It had 6 pedicure chairs in a tiny corner and many rows of manicurists that it felt like everyone was on top of each other. I started with my pedicure like always as I like to let my toes dry as I get my nails done. Well 5 minutes into my pedicure a nail tech comes over and asks if I am having my finger nails done, then she just brings everything over like I didn't really have an option,  so I had both services done at the same time. It wasn't relaxing, I felt rushed. The pedicurist cut my at least twice while cleaning up my cuticles. The water bath was cold, I asked them to make it hotter but they didn't even make it luke warm. The pedicurist put the little sandals on after she painted my toes, then she messed one up during this process. My toes already had 4 layers of polish on them so I would have expected her to remove it completely and restart on that toe as it was a bad mess-up. Her fix was to add another layer of pink then the clear polish. With 6 layers of polish, 4 hours later, my toe didn't dry and ended up really getting messed up even worse. They clearly overbooked themselves and they had people waiting in chairs at the front, soaking their nails in water for at least 30 minutes before being seen. I will never return to this salon, which is a shame b/c it's in a very ideal location about 1 minutes from my apartment. Save yourself the trouble and go somewhere else!! Read Less

I just had to coach my nail tech through a pedicure. It was embarrassing. Cuticles not addressed, nails not trimmed, nails not filed, nails not buffed, nails not cleaned under (I could literally SEE sock lint still), etc, etc. She missed every step of the pedicure and tried to just wash my feet and put the polish on. I wish I could say this was the first time this has happened but this makes time #3 and nail tech #3. I hope someone writes a review and identifies a tech here that actually cleans the nails--I will request them. I am only giving ANY stars because the manicures are usually "alright." Bella Diva is one of those salons I always end up going back to because the women who work there have great nail art skills. However, as a business, these people do not deserve to be as busy as they are. If you need a soak off, you will sit with your hands in bowls filled with acetone instead of having your nails wrapped with foil. I have sat for an hour with my hands in acetone before being spoken to. The man in the wheelchair (possibly the owner?) regards customers like they are sheep being herded in to a stall. If I ever ask him a question, he sighs angrily and rolls his eyes. It's as if he is beyond having his own customers and he is just there to make you feel stupid. Technicians (in general) don't clean under the nail or buff the nail. There is little emphasis on the maintenance aspect of a manicure and it's really all about getting color on a nail. If I really want nail art, I come here. Otherwise, I avoid this salon because their standard services are sub-par and the attitude makes me feel uncomfortable. Read Less

Love Bella Diva! We came here for pedicures on my birthday for the first time and we were not disappointed. We got the deluxe pedicure and it was incredible! They never rush you and take their time with your nails. They even give you a back massage while your nails are drying. We have yet to find a place here that does that! Yelpers didn't steer me wrong with this choice.   Normally when in town center I stick to nail salons there but have recently felt like the service has decreased while the price has increased. This is convenient to 295 and gate. The have the complimentary beverages and the place was packed on a weekday a little after lunch time. Van did my pedicure and did a great job from the massage, nail trimming (she actually listened to me) to the paraffin foot wax and nail painting. Just got a simple manicure. I can do a better one on my own. All my cuticles weren't removed. My nails looked messy. It was just not professionally done. I went home and changed my polish cause it was that bad. I'm only giving it an extra star because the nail tech was friendly. Don't worry. I will not be coming back. Came from out of town for a gel manicure, however all I got was a polish change, and it started chipping within a couple days. I was referred to this nail salon by a friend of mine. I must say that they are extremely,  however the level of the customer service sufficed for the wait.  One thing I really liked is when you sign in,  they will actually take the time to remember your name when they ate doing your nails. I'm giving this place a two only because I really loved the people that worked there however I left with what I think may have been chemical burns on my feet it has been 3 days and I'm barely able to walk on my feet again. They were burning and swollen. I can't say what exactly caused it but I do know it feels awful. This was my first time there and as I got my pedicure I noticed that they use the same foot scrub on everyone. They have a bowl in between the chairs and scoop some out with their hands use it on one leg and foot then proceed to scoop some more out with their hand and I noticed they had this in between every chair. My recommendation would be to have little cups with some set aside for each guest instead of sharing germs from each person that comes through for a pedicure. The pedicure was pretty good and I love seeing that they had the wax for your feet until I noticed that you put your foot inside a heated box of wax one after the other and then it's handed off to the next nail tech who uses the same wax on another guest. My nail polish looked good. But I just couldn't look past these hygiene issues and my feet feeling awful afterwards. Read Less

Prob the best gel polish jobs I've ever had done to my mails. Jauna (sp?) Is awesome and does anything and everything you want. Mine gel polish lasts 3 weeks and literally zero chipping. They really need some ventilation or a window open bc the chemical smell can be very strong if they are busy. But the 4 stars are because they do NOT cut cuticles and don't do the best job with cleaning around the nail bed. I don't know why. I appreciated that even though they were busy I didn't have to wait long at all. They were all super friendly and genuinely interested in me. Im use to going to nail salons where they talk in their language and just do their job. I liked the interaction but they allowed me to relax too. The service was about an hour for a pedicure,  she took her time and I didnt feel like she was rushing to get to the next person.  The price is nice too! I really didn't like how everyone put their foot in the same paraffin wax container haha kinda funny  I mean it was after everyone is clean but grossed me out a bit as I watched them just go down the line with everyone. I usually don't write reviews aside from restaurants, but this deserves a review.Bella Diva is, by far, the best salon I've ever been to. It is a full spa complete with nails, makeup, hair, waxing, etc. The pricing is fairly cheap considering I'm from California where prices are higher. Manicure ($15), pedicure ($28), manipedi combo ($40).My sister-in-law and I arrived at around 9am on Saturday when they opened and there were already so many people. This place is very popular and is constantly packed, so I recommend setting appointments just in case. We both got mani-pedis and both hands and feet were treated exceedingly well. Their salon is even complete with paraffin wax to make your hands and feet softer. I've been to a few salons that do not provide that option, so it is worth mentioning. The service is top-notch. Since I work in customer service, I pay more attention to the working conditions for employees. Though they are packed, have waiting lists, appointments, and the phone constantly ringing, they're still on top of everything. Their service exceeds what you would expect in those conditions. They take their time instead of rush, they talk to you like a friend, pay attention to details, and treat you like royalty. Though massages are typical for pedicures, they even massage you with a homedics hand massager as your nails dry at their drying station. They wouldn't even let me open a water bottle by myself or open my purse to take out my wallet. They really handled everything for me.
