I had formal Christmal Party to go to so I scheduled a full face makeup with Laura. She was amazing.. She listened, asked questioned and made me look and feel wonderful. She matched my make up to the colors of my dress. I was pampered. Next I saw Alexis for my hair.. I have very short hair so I had no idea what she was going to do, but she truly transformed it. Unfortunately I've had two bad experiences here.  The first was with eyelash extensions - didn't look much different, cost a lot, and made my eyes start itching/hurting rather quickly.  I've had eyelash extensions before and I've never had a problem.Second time was for a hair styling for family pictures and also strip lashes.  The girl who did my hair was super nice, but it ended up looking like a twelve year old did my hair.  The curls weren't uniform - some were super tight, others really loose, and some hair was missed.  The strip lashes were HORRIBLE.  They were glued above my eyelash line by an obvious amount and were extremely cheap and fake looking.  I ripped those off the moment I got into the car. Needless to say, I drove home, washed my hair, and did it myself so I didn't look horrible for the family pictures. Lastly, if you're not a regular customer, you get treated differently.  Like you feel out of place.So, mostly nice people, but I'd save your money and go somewhere else. Read Less

I LOVE this place!!! Yesterday was my first time in and I am hooked. The atmosphere is so positive and cheerful and all of the girls here were so friendly. Jeanette gave me the best head massage at the shampoo bowl and made my limp and fine hair look voluminous and full! Karen at the front desk was so delightful and helped me sign up for a membership because I am definitely going to be frequenting MyDry from now. The best Shampoo massage ever! The manager gives the best head massage and turns my very curly lackluster hair into straight, smooth, and shiny hair everytime! I have had my hair styled by at least 4 of the others too and was happy each time - which is unusual as I find it hard to find stylists to do my hair the way I like it. I came to visit my Dad and Mom at the assistant living here in Atlantic Beach, staying with my younger sister. I thought I had called My Dry Blowout to have my hair done, when I arrived Karen informed me I had accidentally called another salon 30 minutes away. Karen then perceded to call three other salons close by and walked me to two salons in her strip mall. That is what I call EXCEPTIONAL customer service. My stylist was perfectly fine and the service was good. My rating is low for  two reasons 1). If you're not a regular you definitely get treated differently. Second fiddle / red-headed stepchild type treatment. 2). The owner was lamenting/complaining with a regular client about the trouble with parking in this shopping center. A smarter owner would ensure more parking for clients by parking off site AND instructing her staff to do so as well. So while I had an OK experience I'm not impressed and won't be back. Read Less

This was my first visit to MyDry Blowout Bar and I absolutely LOVED my experience. I had a few ideas and pictures of what I wanted, but Jessie made my dream a reality. I had a big event one night & had to get my hair done first thing that morning due to work, and I was amazed that my hair looked exactly the same even after the event. Amazing! I got my hair and make up done for $80.00 (not including tip) and it took about 1.5 hours. Worth every penny! Sheena Francois is a miracle worker! I couldn't have been happier putting my faith in her to do my hair and make up for a beach wedding I attended. I didn't even look like the same person! Beautiful new salon. Made an appointment last minute for our daughters 6th birthday. They accommodated us and even brought out a cupcake for her and other little ones.
