I come here at least once a month. Their machine was down when I went to checkout today. I asked if I could swing back by after running an errand (2 stores down). They told me no, they would need to keep my credit card. I have always tipped very well and even know most the team by name. I will not be back. I've been here twice and I'm sorry to say there won't be a third time.  I had a pedicure at Jax Beach nails over a month ago.  I just removed my polish and noticed that I have a black fungus under the nail of my left big toe.  It certainly was not there when I went in for my pedicure so I have to assume the salon was the culprit.  I have never had a fungus ever and I've been getting pedicures for over 30 years.  Not a happy camper. Tracy was the beautiful tech who applied a new gel color for me.   But, first she had to take the old gel off from "another salon" which was a task, as they used a sander type appliance which was awful.    Tracy was  wonderful and my nails look great.   I was given tea and offered water when I had to take my almost daily Execdrin.   I had not been there since the remodel and it is absolutely beautiful and so clean.   It is the BEST nail salon at the beach! I️ have been coming here for over 12 years and the service is not the same anymore. I️ came in for a Pedicure and sat down for 30 minutes waiting after I️ was told to pick out a color. I️ don’t mind a wait, but I️ was ignored by everyone that worked there and not even given an idea of how long the wait would be. After all of these years, I️ can no longer recommend this place. That was my last visit in this place. My first visit was good, had nice pedicure and manicure. Next time I had a pedicure and lady working on my feet wasn't paying attention and ripped skin on my toe and it was bleeding really bad. She haven't even took time to disinfect it. Just pushed my foot back into water. On my last visit I decided to give them one more chance and do sns manicure. The lady seems like she had no idea what she is doing... I asked for slightly rounded shape, showed her multiple pictures from internet and she couldn't do it. She kept shaping them to square and after I asked her again to do different shape she was annoyed and spoke in foreign language to her coworker and he came asking me what the problem is and had to shape my nails. She seemed to be rushing and wasn't nice at all. I got powder gel all over my cuticle, every nail had different shape and length, she hadn't clean everything after finishing and left me with uneven, rough nails. Also they were weirdly flat and thick on edges. (See attached pictures). Thwy havent lasted a week. Gel started to crack and peel. Waste of time and money. Do yourself a favor and go somewhere else. I love getting pampered with my manicure every 2 to 3 weeks. Kristina is the BEST nail tech because even though I use acrylic and gel polish my nails look real. I'm told at least once a day a work how great my nails look. She does an amazing job. When I do get a pedicure they have tons of colors to chose from that match the gel polish. The massage chairs are incredible and makes you really relax. If you are looking for a clean professional manicure or pedicure go see Kristina at this location. Definitely 5 stars are deserved! I was visiting for a few days from the DC-metro area and we needed to kill some time before our flight. We found the menu for this place on its google listing see: viewmenu.com/sunny-nails…We were shocked but also really ecstatic by the low prices advertised, however when we arrived we realized that the google listing was completely wrong and the prices listed are actually double than what was stated. Oh well, that's not necessarily the business's fault, but they should probably claim their business on the site and ensure it gets corrected.My nail tech changed about three times before the water had even been drawn for my pedicure which was confusing. The woman who was finally assigned to me seemed displeased I was even there. First of all, this is a service-based industry: not be rude to the customer. I hadn't even said anything to provoke her attitude except "hello" - she just kept rolling her eyes when I was chatting with the people sitting next to me. She was also kind of rough with my feet. Then, she berated me publicly for not properly caring for two ingrown toe nails, which are very painful, I might add. She kept yelling at me "you can't do it yourself, you need to come to a salon so we can do it." Then she kept pulling her coworkers over to show them how deep one of the nail beds is. First of all, it was embarrassing, second of all, DON'T YOU THINK I DON'T KNOW THAT? If I could afford a pedicure every two weeks, then yes I would get it done professionally all the time. She seemed nicer during the manicure but still tried to get through it as quickly as possible; when I sat to dry there were weird air bubbles on one or two of my nails which originated seemingly out of nowhere. By this time, my nail tech was already on her phone and then disappeared into the backroom and the other staff on site had to call her back to fix them. She scolded me for "creating the air bubbles" as if I was capable of doing this and then sloppily fixed them. She didn't even re-do the polish, she just painted over the spots. It looked worse than with air bubbles. The most disappointing part of this experience was that everyone else in that salon was SUPER NICE and really went out of their way to engage with their clients and provide excellent services.
