Have you ever walked into a nail salon for any service and feel out of place? It's the worst! At Amy's Nails I don't experience that at all! I have been going here for almost a year straight and from my first visit I was welcomed. The owners are genuine good people and take pride in their business. All the techs are professional and informative. The prices are great and the quality of work you will have done is amazing. The shop is relaxing and very clean!!!! A gel fill in here and a basic pedicure was $65 plus $5 extra for matte color and another charge for shaping my nails. Nail spa 2 I paid $43 for a gel nail fill in PLUS matte color coat for FREE and shaping for FREE .and they fix any broken nails they did for FREE. And My pedicure which was AMAZING all for $43.. This place is so good!!! Ask for Susan, she works Friday-Sunday.  The pedicure was incredible..... I got the deluxe which included a scrub, paraffin, lotion, and mask! It was incredible! Susan took her time and spent the full 30 minutes rubbing my legs and scrubbing..... they even offer beer or wine. Susan also did my gel mani..... FLAWLESS!!! I'm picky, but this place delivered! My wife said it was one of her best pedicures ever. Sometimes we don't agree. Okay, most of the time we done agree, but I get what she is saying. My nail trim, cuticle work, shaping and exfoliating were great. But for me, pedicures are all about the massage. I Visited this salon on a Roomie nails date last weekend. All I wanted was a pedicure. Good news was they could take us right away without a appointment. Staff was pretty nice in my opinion . Nail color options are so so . The space itself is pretty big and they have plenty of seats . Overall I give 3 stars . I got the pedicure option that comes with paraffin wax and it was $30. I have had my fair share of pedicures in my day and this one seemed over priced for the quality of service. The place was nice but the pedicure was NOT pleasant. The technician I had was very rough and cut my nail into the quick on one toe....I was also cut four different times around my cuticles on four different toes!! I was appalled by the service I received! I even called the police because the women grabbed my arm so I would leave. I had gone in for a waxing and had a brand new pair of pink vans on. I must have riddden thru some dog feces and did not realize it until I was on the table only one shoe was affected. The women took me out the back door so I could clean my shoe. She told me t use the concrete so I did but the door kept hitting me in the head so I got a mop and prompt it open,... mean while she started throwing up. I then got paper towels t finish cleaning me shoe and t wipe up any mess that I had caused while walking in. I was told stop using the paper towels and leave around the back. If I could leave a zero I would. A business has the right t refuse service t anyone but not grab ur arm especially someone that wanted t clean up their own mess. Amy's Nails is by far the absolute BEST nail experience anywhere! It's worth the drive if you have to.. I've been going there for years and about a year ago my office moved to Flemming island and I live at the beach so I tried 3-4 nail places out in Flemming just for convenience because I needed a pedicure and was short on time.. Did not compare to Amys by a long shot! I make sure to make the time. They pamper you so wonderfully. It's the most pleasant, relaxing experience and they do a GREAT job! Bottom line! Do not recommend this place, when they were scrubbing the bottoms of my feet, the guy made me bleed, and got an attitude when I asked him to use the cheese grater because the clock went off. STILL I was not satisfied because I still have dead skin on my bottoms of my feet. He rushed, and I had to go home and do it myself!!! I just spent the last 3 days in Amy's Nail Salon, painting a wall mural, and was totally impressed with this salon! The staff are very friendly and the atmosphere relaxing! They work very hard to give you a wonderful experience. Many customers are "regulars" and are called by name- which is a huge plus for a business! My friend and I called ahead to make an appointment. They don't speak English but not too terrible to understand. We got right in when we showed up early to our appointment. The ladies did a great job and didn't pressure us too much to get the more expensive package for pedicures. My friend also asked for a design on her big toes and they did a great job on that too. Really unenjoyable. The pedicure looks like something my little cousin did. Also the technician cut my thumb pretty badly and proceeded to super glue it together... And then speak in another language with her co-worker. The superglue dried and peeled off half of the manicure 20 minutes after I left the salon. And today I just took off all the polish because every nail started to chip not even 24 hours after I had them done. SAME LOCATION AS THE 14000 BLOCK OF BEACH!!! RUN AWAY!!!!!!! IF I COULD DO NEGATIVE I WOULD!!!!!!!I live 45 minutes away on the north side of Jacksonville and hadn't been here in forever. I'd lived around the area over there for 11 years and watched it change hands 3 or 4 times. Going in this time, once again it was someone new. I asked how much it would be for a mani/pedi and was told it was $35. No big deal. Get a text message from my boss that I need to be back on the north side as soon as possible so had to change my mind on the manicure. The young lady doing my feet couldn't understand one bit of English. Why is she with customers if she can't understand or speak to them?? After the cut on my right big toe and the crooked nail on my left I was pissed off. Getting ready to leave I was informed by the non English speaking young lady that it was $35!!! For just the pedicure?? What the hell? Then I was informed, adding insult to injury that in fact it was $30 for JUST A PEDI!!!! Yes, they were white tip but should have been no where near that expensive. Tried calling today and spoke to a nice young lady on the phone about it who seemed to have empathy to my situation. The owner however has no business even owning a business. Forget customer service skills. Why should I drive 45 minutes EACH WAY again, to have my nails messed up? You can't fix the cut on my foot nor can you fix the crooked nail? So I'm supposed to drive all the way in for???? Asked for a refund, not the whole amount but at least the tip and once again the riot act started. I have NEVER received such horrible interaction with anyone. Not even a fast food joint. I believe she said the one I got was $22 plus $5 for French Tip. Doesn't equal $30. And one would think that if the price were to change to only $5 less they could've advised and I probably would've had done both. You can't get a better deal than this spot. It's unassuming and tucked in a low-rent strip mall, but this is my favorite nail salon at the beach. My friend recommended it, saying how they take their time and do a great job. And she was spot-on. The staff is nice and offers you beer or wine, plus they speak English well, which is helpful. Ever.  Holy crap why don't they have places like this in ATL?  My bf and his brother were hitting the gym next door, so I thought this would be the perfect time for some "me time".  Boy, was I right.  For $30 (Thirty!)
