Great services! Only issue is how long it takes to actually set an appointment with the receptionist. I feel they would benefit from having another person in the back for phone calls ONLY. I went here several years ago regularly for about a year, to get my nails done.On one occasion the tech pushed the instrument under my nail which was very painful. After several weeks the pain was gone but the nail was never the same, it looked awful and was infected. I Ithen needed a doctor's prescription to help. It's been a nightmare ever since as the nail never looked the same. Just a few weeks ago, the nail is finally starting to fall off. Be very aware. Overpriced for absolutely normal services. Their gel peeled from a finger in less than 24 hours with barely any activity on my non dominant hand. $90 for gel nails and two tips is ridiculous, especially if they're going to peel with barely any abrasion. I went to Salon Vo based on a recommendation from a friend. She told me to book with Anthony. My appointment was at 10:30 and he was very prompt. I like that Anthony sat down with me and asked me what I was looking for and took some time to get to know me. He listened to what I had to say and also gave his opinion as to what he felt would look nice. I ended up doing something totally different with my style than I intended to. Anthony was very personable and I really enjoyed our conversation during the appointment. Anthony took his time with my hair and spent several hours with me! The finished product is amazing. This is by far the very best salon visit I have had in a very long while. I have been going to Ms. Lori @ Salon Vo for a long time. I love her! I just would like to give some credit to Ms. Lisa at the front desk she’s always been really nice! She makes sure to ask me what I need done and she checks w/ Ms. Lori to make sure how long my appointments should take to make sure not to cram appointments on top of each other. I use to work as a salon receptionist and it’s not an easy job! There’s lots of multitasking going on!! I would like to also add that she is the most professionally dressed receptionist they currently have. I appreciate that! One lady (Laura I think) has some questionable outfits! First I will start by saying I have not been to a salon in years. Anyone who knows me knows I am very introverted and I hate being in places likes these. My hair started falling out and I had no choice but to seek professional advice. Shannetta made me feel at ease from the very beginning. We went over a million different options and never did I feel like I was taking up her time (I have at most other places I tried). I highly recommend her. She did my keratin treatment and cut my hair and I could not have asked for more. Her coworkers were very nice as well. So I've gone to Salon Vo multiple times. Lisa there is amazing, she is by far the best technician that has ever done my nails. Normally I would recommend it, but after my last experience I am not so sure. I made an appointment 1 month in advance because Lisa is so busy and that's just the price I was willing to pay to have my nails done the way I like. 1 week before my appointment Salon Vo called me and said Lisa wasn't available that day now. I could either wait another wee...k longer when she has another appointment available or have a different technician do my nails. I told the receptionist I couldn't wait because I had a wedding to attend that weekend. I agreed to have another technician do my nails at the same appointment time. I walk in on the day of my appointment on time. The receptionist tells me they tried to call me the day before (which I have no missed calls or voicemails) because the technician doing my nails had called out sick. She didn't offer me any answers to my problem. I explained again I had a wedding to go to the next day. All she told me was that she is sorry the technician is sick. I don't own a business and I know it isn't anyone's fault if a technician calls out, but I do feel since it was my second cancellation something should have been done. Anthony did my hair in this gorgeous dark root ombre red and purple pink balayage, I'm in love. The color is perfect and so is the cut. Anthony was sweet and funny. My hair has never looked better.
