Hilary, John, Kelly & their team are so professional, efficient, friendly and amazing at their craft! While being pampered/having your hair cut, they will offer snacks, a drink & help educate you on anything you would like to know regarding your hair/body/facial questions. I waited 45 minutes just to have my hair completely botched right before I left to be a bridesmaid in my best friends wedding. I cried for days and my family and friends literally gasped when I took my hair down out of the ponytail that I am forced to wear. Fortunately while I was getting my hair done for the wedding the stylist I went to was able to blend the layers better although it still looks awful and will take me a good year before I can wear my hair down. I would not recommend this place to my worst enemy. I wish I would've left after waiting for 45 minutes after my scheduled appointment instead of letting her chop my hair to ugly bits. Read Less

I waited for 45 minutes before being seen only to have my hair literally botched. I've been nervous about getting my hair done after having really bad experiences at a few other salons but I felt that everything would be okay. Unfortunately my feelings were wrong. I needed to get my hair done before my best friends wedding so I was desperate and waited although normally I would've walked out after 30 minutes. Absolutely THE best place to be when trying to relax!!!! Ms Hillary is kind, beautiful and it shows she loves what she does when she talks to you.. No TVs! Which makes the music which flows around you even better. Calming music, It's a place of quiet and solitude... Never have I been so relaxed where I actually fell asleep! Hilary is THE BEST. I get my nails done here (acrylic) and it's such a different experience then other nail salons, she is delicate and makes sure you're happy with each nail! The Keratin Glycolic Smoothing treatment that I got at Aloha Dreams is absolutely transforming. It has made my rather bulky, curly, frizzy hair completely manageable and silky to the touch - and this is after over 5 weeks! (It will "last" about 3 months, imagine that!) The owner of this salon has been cutting my hair for years over 15 she has experience and has learned styles from all over the world ...Japan, hawaii, California, and I love that she is my hair dresser... I've moved to New Zealand but she's always my number one choice, along with her finely chosen lovely hairdressers at tge salon aswell... amazing atmosphere and pampering of the islands ...Don't think!:) just go! ..you won't regret it and you'll finally find a hairdresser you can go back too like I did! Aloha Dreams is an all around wonderful experience, and Hillary Silva is the reason why. Hillary gives hands on, very personalized service with her color, cuts and/or styling. She is very current yet still a great  "hairdresser" in the classic sense of the word : she gets to know you as she works her magic on your hair!! There isn't a color problem that can stump her and her cuts are quick and precise. The salon itself is casual yet luxurious. Wine is offered while you get pampered, which would have pushed me to a five star rating if Hillary hadn't already earned that with her skills and genuinely great personality!!! Read Less
